Chapter 40

Harry passes me his phone revealing his messages between him and Simon.

Harry: Why the fuck have you done this to her Simon? She fucking loves you and you know that.

Simon: I love her too Harry.

Harry: Why the fuck are you sleeping around with Laura then?

Simon: She's threatening me. She's saying I need to get kaylee out of my life otherwise she'll kill her. I can't let that happen to her. Now stop messaging me, I have to delete these messages.

Holy fucking shit. My life is at danger again. I mean I know cancer can take me but i am only at stage one and have ages to live and get treated. This is a permanent thing if I get murdered.

Me: Holy fuck...

Charlie: What did it say?

Me: She's threatening Simon. Saying that he needs to get rid of me and out of his life otherwise she'll kill me.

Tobi: We need to go to the police about this.

Ethan: Kaylee you can always stay here if you want. We'll go and get everything from your room.

Me: No. I need to go back myself and act oblivious.

Harry: We'll come with you to keep you safe and Charlie can go into ur room with you and help you pack.

Ethan: You can pretend you and Charlie are like linking or something.

I look at Charlie and he looks at me. I nod my head and smile at him which makes him smile back. I know he doesn't like me and I don't like him, but it's just for the plan.

We all go downstairs and into the garage. We get in the car and drive to the sidemen house.

We finally get there after planning the whole thing out. I unlock the door and walk in with the guys behind me. Simon and Laura were sat in the living room and they both looked over at me.

Me: I brought the guys around. Thought maybe we could play some fifa?

Simon: Yeah sure.

Laura rolled her eyes. I found it funny but I tried to keep a straight face. The guys and I walked into the living room and I sat next to Charlie. We were sat on the side were we could see everyone in perfect shot and they could all see us.

I lie my head back onto his chest and he starts to play with my hair and twizzles it round his fingers. I look up at him and he looks down at me and grins. He whispers "Let's go upstairs and pack some clothes" into my ear and then winks at me which makes me giggle a little.

As we get up I look over to Simon who just looked at me with pain in his eyes. I felt so bad for him but I had to do it.

I get up to my room and pull out a suitcase that was underneath my bed and unzip it. Charlie looks around my room as he's never seen it before. Then we hear a knock at the door so we turn to it and Simon opens is.

Simon: Kay-lee

He said with a tiny crack in his voice.

Me: Yes Simon.

He comes in and closes the door fully. He walks over to me and pulls me in for a massive hug. I felt really safe in his arms but I had to do what's best.

Me: I'm moving out and in with Ethan and Charlie. I read the messages between you and Harry.

Simon: Are you and Charlie a thing or what?

Me: No don't be daft. We're just pretending so I don't get killed.

Simon: I'm so sorry that you're brought into this.

Me: Meh it's fine. I'm used to getting scared that I'm gonna die.

Simon lets go of the hug and walks over to my desk. By now Charlie was lying on my bed and on his phone. Just as Simon had sat down on my gaming chair, the door bursts open.

Laura: I thought you said you were going to the toilet Simon.

Simon: Yeah I did but Charlie called me in.

Laura looked at Charlie lying on the bed and then at me packing clothes into my suitcase.

Laura: Where are you going?

Me: Oh I don't know. Charlie said he's taking me away for a week somewhere but he won't tell me.

I look over at Charlie and he smiles at Laura.

Laura: Oh, I didn't know you two where a thing.

Charlie: We're not. Well we are. Not quite there yet.

Laura: Thats the same with me and Si. Isn't it hun.

Simon: Yeah...

Me: Aww that's sweet. Maybe we could have a double date at some time.

Simon: Sounds good. Well I better be heading downstairs. Make sure you wear protection.

Thank god he understands. I do feel really bad that he's being held under this much pressure. Laura and Simon both walk out leaving me packing and Charlie just doing what he wants.

After I finished packing I go downstairs with my suitcase and leave it my the front door. Me and Charlie walk over to the living room where all the boys were playing Fifa. JJ, Josh and Vik had also joined them.

Laura: Did you have fun up there?

Me: What's that supposed to mean?

Laura: Oh I think you know what I mean. Get your heartbroken by Simon and then go sleep with one of his mates.

Me: You're really gonna start this in front of everyone?

Vik: Guys stop!

Laura: Yeah. You need to be put in your place kaylee and stop acting like a little slut.

Me: So I'm the slut?

I walk over to where she was sitting and she stands up.

Me: At least in not the one threatening Simon just to get rid of me. That sounds pretty pathetic now doesn't it.

She grabs my wig and pulls it off and then pushes me causing me to fall over. Simon holds her so she doesn't try anything. I go over to her and was about to throw a punch at her until Simon pushes her towards JJ making sure he held her down.

Simon: You don't want to do this Kaylee.

Me: You don't fucking know what I want.

I walk back over to Laura who was now in the arms of JJ but Simon quickly grabs my arms and puts them behind my back. I just stare at her in the eyes.

Laura: You can't have him, he's mine.

Simon: No I'm not Laura. I want Kaylee not you. You're so manipulative and non of these guys like you.

Laura: Simon don't get into this. You know what I'm capable of.

Me: What does she mean by that?

They both stay silent but now everyone else was paying attention.

Me: Simon what does she mean?

Simon: She's the person that stabbed Vik at the party. They never found out who it was.

Vik: And you didn't even tell us?

JJ: Yeah what the fuck Simon.

JJ loosens his grip of Laura and she bolts to the kitchen so I chase after her. I get closer to her and was about to punch her again but she spun me around and held a knife to my neck. The guys ran in shorty after and just stood still not knowing what to do.

Laura: Let me have Simon or I'm slitting your throat.

Ethan: Put the knife down Laura.

Laura: I will if I get what I want!

She pushes the knife into my neck a little but not piercing through the skin.

Me: Just let her have him.

I gasp, low on breath.

Simon: But I don't fucking want her! I want you Kaylee!

She pushes the knife deeper into me making me wince in pain. Suddenly Charlie comes from behind us and grabs the knife off Laura. He must have went outside and around the house. He grabs Laura which makes her let grip of me and I fall to the ground. Simon and Vik help me up while Charlie and Ethan hold Laura back. Tobi got onto the phone with the police and Josh tried to find a first ad kit.

Vik: Shit she's bleeding a lot.

Me: It can't be that bad.

Simon: Just stay quiet Kaylee.

I do as I'm told and let the boys help. The police came pretty quickly and took Laura while we all took statements at the house. One of the guys asked if she's going to go to jail and the police man said most likely.

The cut on my neck wasn't that bad after a while so we didn't need to go into hospital to get stitches or anything like that.

Why is it always me that gets the worst outcomes. I mean no one should be going through what I've gone through at all but yet it all seems to happen.
