Chapter 2

It's the end of the school day. My mum was waiting outside in the car park. I told the guys I'll meet them at the football pitch. I get to my mums car and open the door.

Mum: Hiya honey, how was school?

Me: It was really good actually. I'm going to meet some friends at the football pitch once I've got home and gotten dressed. Is it ok if you drive me there?

Mum: Of course. Would you like some money for the shop, just in case you need a drink?

Me: Yes please mum.

My mums the kindest at times. She drives me home and I go to my bedroom to get dressed. I put on some champion leggings and top and put a puma hoodie over it. I also slipped on my airforces and run downstairs.

Me: Mum I'm ready

Mum: Okay honey let's go.

I jump in the car and we drive to the football pitch. She hands me a fiver and I get out and run to the pitch. There I saw the 7 guys kicking a ball around. I walk up to them and say Hi.

Tobi: Hey kaylee. I was telling the guys about how terrible you are at football.

I laugh and look at the guys standing behind Tobi. Simon was looking at me and raised his eyebrows so I walk over to him.

Me: What you looking at.

Simon: Oh erm nothing.

Me: I'm just too good for you Simon.

Simon: No you're not. I could get you any day.

Me: Alright. Beat me in a game of football and you get to take me on a date.

He nodded his head and gets into the goal. I place the ball in the middle of the goal and stand back from it trying to find out where I was going. I looked at the top right and ran up to the ball before shooting in the bottom left.

Simon: What the fuck. You looked at the top right.

I winked at him and ran into the goal while he set up the ball. He takes a few steps back before shooting. He went for the middle and I saved it.

Me: Aww sorry Simon. Maybe another time yeh.

I laugh at him. Just then we see a group of lads walking up to us. I hear the boys whisper fuck so I wanted to see what this was about. I stood in front of them and Josh pulled me back so I shove him off.

They come up to us and stand right in front of the guys.

Guy 1: You wanna buy anything. Or are you too much of mummy boys to take any.

Me: I'll buy some.

I poked my head above Josh's shoulder.

Me: I've only got a fiver though.

Guy 2: Nah that's fine. Here take this just because you're a first comer and you're pretty fit.

He passes me a small bag of weed and I pass him the fiver. They all walk away and I walk over to the corner of the pitch.

Harry: You didn't need to do that Kaylee.

Me: Why, I get them off your backs and I get weed. What's the big deal? 

Tobi: So you're just gonna smoke it?

Me: Well I paid for it didn't I?

I said and started to roll it up. I set it alight and started to smoke it while the guys looked at me.

Me: Oh my bad. Would you like some?

They all shake their head so I continue to smoke it. They all walk away and carried on playing football. I finished smoking and went to join them. They all seemed to ignore me so I just went to sit behind them.

About 5 minutes later Simon walks up and sits down next to me.

Simon: You know smoking is bad right?

Me: You know you know nothing about me.

Simon: I would like to.

This guy is actually trying to put the effort in.

Simon: Can I walk you home?

Me: Yeh go on then.

We say goodbye to the guys and start walking to mine.

Simon: So why are you smoking weed?

Me: It just helps me to relax and everything.

Simon: Why do you need relaxing?

Me: Ahh just stupid people at my old school. Hung around with the wrong people and that.

We began to talk a bit more. About him and his life and also mine. We see a group of girls that go to our school. Simon puts his arm around my shoulder so I look up at him and smile.

Me: What are you doing?

I laughed at him. He just kept smiling.

Simon: Them girls are hella ugly and they keep trying to get with me so I want them to back off from me.

Me: Well you could have said.

I grab his face and give him a little kiss then look at the girls. They looked at each other and Simon just looked shocked.

Me: What? Have you never been kissed before?

Simon: Erm no I haven't.

Me: Aww sorry I should have told you.

Simon: No no it's fine.

I just giggled and held his hand. We carried on walking to my house. As we were getting closer to my house Simon says

Simon: I'm gonna leave you here. My house is down there.

He walks off into the street that I live on so I follow him.

Simon: Why are you following me?

Me: Because I live down here.

Simon: No way. Which number are you?

Me: 7

Simon: Holy shit I'm number 6.

Me: What a coincidence.

We both laughed and walked up the street to our houses. We say goodbye and walk through our doors. I go in the living room to see my mum and a random guy talking.

Me: Hey mum, hey guy.

Mum: Kaylee this is Dev Barns. We used to work together back in Sheffield.

Me: Hiya Dev. My mums a real keeper by the way. She's fantastic.

Dev starts laughing at my confidence.

Dev: You're just like your mother you know. I actually have a son that goes to your school and is in your year.

Me: I probably don't know him. I haven't really met anyone yet.

I leave the room and walk into the kitchen to get a bottle of water. I say goodbye to Dav and my mum and go upstairs to my room. I sat on my bed and went on my phone. I decided to message an old friend.

A few hours later and I get my pyjamas to get changed into. I stand up and take my top off. I turn around and was about to close my curtains until I see Simon in the house opposite. I never really thought about who was living in the room directly opposite mine but I could see him. It was a bit like that Taylor Swift music video.

I walk over to the window and try and get his attention. I grab a bead from one of my bracelets and throw it at his window from mine. He turns around and looks at me. I smile at him and he opens his window to talk to me.

Simon: You know you've got no shirt on right?

I look down and see myself in my bra.

Me: And? I've got a bra on haven't I?

Simon: Well yeah I guess so. Erm so what are you doing?

Me: Just getting dressed then I might watch a film. What about you? 

I sat on the edge of the window sill. Still in my leggings and bra. Me and Simon talked for a bit. He occasionally looked down at my boobs and looked away instantly after, to which I laughed at his reaction.

Me: Do you like them?

Simon: Erm, well, yeah.

I laugh at his response and jump back down from the window sill. I turn my back to him and take off my leggings. Then I proceeded to take my bra off slowly. I turn around to the window and see Simon looking at me.

Me: Do you wanna come round?

Simon: I don't think that's a good idea.

Me: Yeah you're right. Maybe another time?

Simon: Yeah another time.

He says before turning around to his door as someone opened it. I close the curtains and get dressed into my pyjamas.

A few minutes later I hear a "pst" coming from outside my window which I had forgotten to close. I open my curtains to see Simon. It was pretty dark so I turn my light on.

Simon: I'm going to bed now. Do you wanna walk to school with me tomorrow?

Me: You're going to sleep at 9? Or are you going to wank.

I laugh and wink at him. He just scratches the back of his hair and stays silent.

Me: Oh my god you are as well.

Simon: Fuck off, you've probably done it to yourself so what's the big deal.

Me: I guess you're right. Well have fun, I'll see you tomorrow.

I wink and shut my window. I didn't mind that Simon was wanking. I don't know a boy who hasn't to be fair. I sit on my bed and watch some movies, eventually falling asleep.
