"Are you sure you don't want to come out with me tonight? You could use it." Lilly tries to convince me.

"No, I need to be here incase Miguel comes home." I say to her and she sighs.

She takes a seat on the bed with me and grabs my hand "Y/N, It's been 2 weeks, He hasn't called, Hell his phone is out of service.. Sweetie i don't think he's coming back." She sad smiles.

I get up not wanting to hear the harsh truth.

"Don't say that, He'll come back. He loves me." I cross my arms.

"Y/N." She sighs desperate.

"You can't be this naive, I know you fell deeply in love with him but he ghosted you."

"Maybe he-

"No Y/n there are no maybes and there are no buts." She steps closer to me.

"He. Ghosted. You." She says slowly.

My heart drops and i look away.

"Just leave me alone." I sigh.

"Y/N?"

"Please.. I need to be alone right now." I beg.

"Fine, I'll call you later." She says softly.

"Bye."

I just give her a nod.

She leaves and I'm left alone with my thoughts and sorrows.

I look up to the clock 9:25 P.M.

My heart beats like crazy. I take a seat on the edge of my bed and i try calling him for the millionth time.

"The number you have called is no longer in service... Goodbye."

I exhale a shakey breath as a tear rolls down my face "Miguel where are you?" I whisper.

My anxiety rises the more my thoughts run through my brain.

How can someone tell you they love you one day and abandon you the next?

I silently pray as i slowly look up to the clock.

9:30 P.M

I almost break my neck to turn to the window. I race over there and i open the window and i look out.

"Miguel if you're out there please.. Come back." I call out to freezing cold streets of New York.

The only thing that answers me is rustling of the cold wind.

I sigh as i close the window shut.

I don't even know where to find him, i don't know where he works at.

But maybe instead of me finding him, He'll find me.

I rush over to my closet and i find the hottest dress to put on. I slip it on and i strap some heels on and i quickly pat my face with make up, and i put my hair in a ponytail.

I grab my purse and phone and i look out the window one more time.

"I'll make you come out." I mutter to myself.

I arrive at Thriller's with one mission and one mission only, on my mind.

Let the jealousy bring Miguel out.

I walk past the sweating bodies that are swaying in the dark flashing lights.

My eyes scan for a guy. any guy, specifically Brian.

He'll definitely come out

Not that he would even want to dance with me anyways.

But here goes nothing.

I find a cute guy and i pat his shoulder "Want to dance with me?" I flash a smile.

"Hell yea." He vigorously nodded.

I grab his hand and lead us to the dance floor, I turn around and we start to dance to Beautiful Liar By Beyoncé and Shakira.

I sway my hips as i roll my hair to side.

I look up, scanning for a 5'10 half spider and half vampire man.

"C'mon.. I know you're out there." I mutter to myself.

I look down to a hand reaching up my thigh, I frown and i slap his hand away. "Hands to yourself." I scowl.

"Oh c'mon, I'm just playing." He smirks.

"Well i don't want to play.. Dance over." I shut him down.

"Hey you came on to me." He grips my shoulder.

"Clearly a mistake." I deadpan as i tug away from his hold.

"Fucking idiot." I curse under my breath.

Who?

Him or you?

Both

I walk out of the club and i start to head home.

I don't know what i was thinking coming here, I don't know what i was trying to achieve.

I just miss Miguel so much.

I halt to a stop as i find myself in the same alley where i first met Miguel.

The memory comes back to me and my heart sinks like a ship.

"You lost Sweetheart?" I turn around and the jerk from the club followed me.

"No.. thanks." I try to walk past him but he holds me back.

"Let go of me." I grit.

"Don't be a bitch." He snarks.

"I will scream." I glare at him.

"Yea you will." He smirks and i internally throw up in the inside.

Cringe

I scoff and i break into laughter "Yea sure Buddy."

He slams me against the wall "You're asking for it." He snarls.

"LET HER GO." A voice speaks in the dark.

My heart starts to beat so fast.

Can it be?

Did my plan work?

Miguel?

"Fuck off." Jerk face turns to the shadow.

The mystery man pulls him off of me and throws him to the ground.

"You should learn how to respect a woman." He tells jerk face.

"And you should fuck off." He tries to lunge towards him but Mystery man kicks him in the face.

"Fucking leave and don't come back!" He shouts at him as he runs away.

"You okay?" He turns to me.

"M-Miguel?" I squint my eyes as i can't see cause it's so dark.

"No, It's me... Brian."

"B-Brian?" I gulp.

"Yea, Sorry i didn't mean to follow you but i saw you in the club and i saw that asshole going after you, I wanted to make sure you were okay." He rubs the back of his head.

"T-Thanks." I say.

"No problem, Um i don't want a problem with your boyfriend but will you be okay walking home?"

"U-Um I-I don't have a boyfriend anymore." I don't even know why i mentioned it.

I internally groan and curse myself.

"Can i walk you home then?" He offers his hand.

I stare at him confused "I just want to walk you home, I swear." He smiles.

For some reason, I believe him. I mean he did just saved me from possibly getting raped.

"O-Okay." I take his hand.

"Here, It's freezing." He takes his jacket off and hands it to me.

"Thank you." I take it as I am freezing balls.

"Do you always walk through alleys?" He makes a joke.

"Sometimes." I don't really lie.

He chuckles and we small talk all the way to my apartment.

"Well this is me." I say shyly as i point to my door.

"Thanks for walking me." I hand him back his jacket.

"No problem." He smiles.

"Um Goodnight."

"Goodnight Y/N." He smiles.

"Oh wait, Um about what happened on the phone-

"Water under the bridge." He cuts me off.

I shyly nod.

"Have a good night." He gives me one last smile before walking away.

I walk into my apartment "M-Mig-

It's a habit

I shut my trap up, as i remember.

Ghosted

I turn on my lights and i sigh as i look around.

I take off my heels and let my hair loose.

I walk over to the window and I look out and I stare at the stars and shiny lights of New York.

My heart aches as i accept my reality.

He's not coming back.

I take a deep breath as i close my eyes for a moment.

Why Miguel?

Why did you leave me?

I open my eyes and i slowly reach up and i turn the knob and i lock my window for the first time in months.

No point of leaving it unlock anymore, He's not climbing through my window anytime soon.. possibly never.

My future will start tomorrow.

I will no longer be hung up on him.

Moving on with my life.

5 MONTHS LATER,

"Aaugh i hate when the instructions are in a different language!" I sigh.

"Let me see." Lilly takes the manual from me.

"It's in Chinese." She frowns.

"Yea no shit sherlock." I huff.

"It's okay, we'll just use google translator." She says optimistic.

I chuckle "What would i do without you." I smile.

"Die obviously." She says sarcastically.

"Hmmm." I hum.

"Okay maybe we should call Brian and order domino's pizza." She huffs as she gives up.

"Already speed dialing." I muse.

"Who Brian or Domino's?" She grins.

"Both."

It's been 5 months since Miguel left me but as the days passed, slowly i have been able to heal and grow.

And i am growing, in different ways I'm growing as a person and parts of me is.. specifically my stomach.

My stomach is growing a small human.

Yup, Miguel knocked me up
