Chapter 15

        Queen Bee couldn't remember what had happened. All she knew was she was on the ground, and Nath was kissing her. Nathaniel pulled away.

"Did you-?" Queen Bee was about to finish her sentence when Dark Cupid laughed from behind her.

"Have fun you two, I'm going to find Chloe and make her pay for all the times shes rejected me." Dark Cupid said.

"Hah! good luck with that" Queen Bee said sarcastically. Nathaniel looked at her curiously. Dark Cupid narrowed his eyes at her.

"I hid her somewhere you won't find her" Queen Bee lied through her teeth. Dark Cupid was about to say something back when Ladybug's yoyo got his akumatized item, and he was unakumatized.

Queen Bee sighed with relief, and walked over to Kim. Kim looked so upset that she felt it was her duty to comfort him. Queen Bee knelt beside him.

"Kim, you didn't hurt anyone, it is ok" Queen Bee said softly. Kim looked away.

"Did I hurt Chloe?" He croaked out. Queen Bee softened. It was her fault for turning him down, but she could make this better, if she tried, and so she would.

"No, but she was so upset that you got upset because of her" Queen Bee said. Kim looked at her, surprised.  Queen Bee flushed, hoping he wouldn't say anything about it.

"Oh no....I'm going to talk to her as soon as I can."  Kim promised. Queen Bee nodded in agreement, and walked away, running as soon as she was out of sight. She found a hiding place, and detransformed.

"Pollen, what am I going to do?" Chloe whispered frantically. Pollen looked at her sympathetically. 

"Just be nice, that's all you can really do, Chloe." Pollen reassured her owner, and friend. Chloe gulped, and walked out of the hiding place, almost being tackled by Kim. Chloe's eyes widened, and she held back a laugh, smiling at him.

"S-sorry Chloe." Kim stammered. Chloe nodded, smiling. She knew what she was going to say now. Chloe really hoped it would make him feel better.

"Kim, it's ok...and I think-um..would you wanna dance with me when we get back to the dance?" Chloe asked shyly. Kim's eyes lit up, and Chloe knew she had said the right thing. She still wasn't interested in Kim, but she did value him as a good friend, and she wanted to make him feel better.

"O-ok!" Kim accepted, face redder then Chloe had ever seen it. For a moment she was worried he was coming down with a fever, but then she reasoned that he was embarrassed, and that was the end of that thought. 

When they got back to the dance, Chloe was taken by Kim for the dance, and Chloe had to admit: He was a great dancer. Chloe almost didn't wanna stop dancing, until she caught sight of Nathaniel. When the song was over, Chloe pulled away, and thanked Kim for the dance. Kim was beaming, and that made Chloe smile as she walked away towards her date.

Nathaniel took a deep breath as she neared. Chloe was kind of nervous now, but still approached.

What was he going to say, and was Chloe ready to hear it?
