Chapter 6 - Mike's Birthday Surprise

2 Months Later, 11th February 2002:

"Happy Birthday Mike, have a great day and I miss you lots x" I sent Mike a message cause it was his birthday. To be honest, I was a little sad that we hadn't kissed much, his kisses were amazing. All of a sudden I remembered the song I had written and I now wanted to go over to his house and give it to him to have a look.

Later...

"Happy birthday!!" I jumped into Mike's arms and rocked side to side. I only then just noticed his hair was back to natural black, I hadn't seen him in that long that his hair dye faded. "Thanks, come in" Mike let me in and I sat on his couch. "I've got you something" I passed Shinoda his present. "Ooo, what is it?" He smiled brightly and looked at me. I laughed, "Open it and you'll find out, silly!" He did as I said and the present was a Linkin Park mug. "Oh my god, I love it. Thanks!!" he hugged me tightly. "I've got another thing, but I need you to read it" I paused to catch my breath, "Remember when you and Chester said I could write some music for you? Well I wrote something you may like" I passed him the paper that I wrote 2 months prior.

"That's great, sounds just like a song I'd write. I'll contact Chester later and let him know about it!" He put the paper in his pocket and I could see him blushing slightly. "What you blushing at eh?" I gave him a seductive look and smirked slightly. He turned his head and faced me, "You... You look so good today..." Mike smiled and blushed more, his face was so red. I felt shocked and very flattered. I grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him into a kiss, in the middle of it I managed to slip out the words "Do whatever you want to me." He climbed on top and I practically ripped his shirt off his body, showing me his exposed chest.

"Come with me Ruby" He grabbed my hand and took me to the bedroom. I smirked. "You wanna do this?" He asked me. "Of course" We kissed once again and our lips found a rhythm, I felt like I was in heaven. Mike pushed me against the wall and locked his hands onto my waist, I wrapped mine around his neck. Sorry" He walked back downstairs and out the door. "Awkward.." Mike put on his clothes and sat next to me on the bed, looking hot and sweaty. "Oh well, still enjoyed the time though" I smirked slighty. "But I'm gonna head off now, enjoy the rest of your day and don't let Chester catching us bring you down" We laughed and hugged. I gave him a big kiss on the cheek and cheekily smacked his ass, walking downstairs, "Bye Mikey!" I waved slightly, got into my car and drove off, I had a new car.

In the car all I could think about was how I got to lose my virginity to Mike, I may or may not has fantasized about him years ago, but now it had actually happened. Slowly, I was zoning out and nearly drove onto the other side of the road, I was still getting over my fear of driving and zoned out a lot.

When I got home I sat down and relaxed. "Oh fuck, Zane's birthday is tomorrow.. The funeral was heart breaking, I can't bare to go to the grave again.." I felt slightly sad because it ached to go anywhere near his burial ground. I decided to not get too worked up about it and worry about coping when it got to the day. He always used to talk about how his birthday was a day after Mike's and showed off to his friends about it, it was cute af. "Well let's go get some good rest for tomorrow" I ran up the stairs and undressed. I fell asleep pretty quickly...
