The trial of william lewis finally ended with a guilty verdict but not before the head juror made sure to bring up suspicion of police brutality. IAB did not investigate it partly due to friends olivia had in the department but also because there was no witnesses to the beating except for olivia and william.

It was also finally time for Olivia's next appointment and she hoped her baby would cooperate and let the doctor see a gender. Olivia sat in the waiting room stroking her swell with one hand as she looked over a parenting magazine in the other. She finally heard a nurse call her name and she slowly stood and waddled a bit to the exam room after getting her weight and other vitals taken.

Dr. Harding came in smiling and said "hello again olivia."

"Hello Dr. Harding. I hope we can see a gender today." She admitted.

Dr. Harding nodded with a small laugh "as long as this little one wants to be cooperative." She grabbed the gel and said "this will be cold as usual." She said as she put som on her swell.

Olivia let out a small gasp from the cold of the gel. "I will never get used to that." Olivia replied.

"So what are you hopeing for?" Harding asked.

"If I'm being honest? A girl but either way I'll be happy if it's just healthy." She sighed.

"Well let's see if we can give you some happy news today." She said as she began the sonogram.

Olivia kept her eyes glued to the black and white picture of her growing baby on the screen. All of this still made her nervous even now. Being a child of rape and now haveing one she began to understand some of her own mother's fears. She was still lost in thought looking at the screen when she heard Dr. Harding begin to speak.

"The heart sounds strong. The baby is a little on the smaller size but with smaller mothers that's not abnormal but maybe a little extra during your meals would be a good idea." She smiled "now let's see the special parts huh?" She looked over the screen and smiled big for olivia "well it seems you got your wish. It's a little girl."

Olivia made a sighed of sheer relief when she heard that. "Really? Your positive?"

"Yes olivia. You so far have one healthy baby girl on the way." Dr. Harding confirmed.

After her appointment she was so excited she decided to do a little baby shopping. She had already bought the furniture but now she wanted to get clothes and toys and some paint for the walls. She spent hours mostly just walking through the large baby store near time Square looking at everything. It was all beginning to hit her and this was the happiest she had been in a very long time.

After making a few purchases she made her way home to her apartment set everything down and made herself some tea. She relaxed on the couch for a bit sipping it. She was about to start getting the paint ready when a knock came to her door. She went to the door and opened it to see a woman standing there with an envelope. "Olivia Benson?"

"Yes that's me." She said as the woman held the envelope out to her and said "you've been served." Then the woman quickly walked away.

Olivia shut the door as her heart raced even before she opened the envelope. Once she opened it her heart pounded even more. "No." She breathed as she read the legal papers that said william lewis was filing for parental rights and visitation of her baby. Olivia's happy mood was now fading quickly as she realized what this meant. She had dealt with a couple cases where a rapist had filed for visitation and she knew it was possible that william could get supervised visitation. She now knew she had to find a good lawyer to help her fight this. Only one name seemed to come to mind, Trevor langin.
