~~~2 years later~~~

"Hey babe look at that, Rivers' is walking properly by himself!" My fiancé of 1 and a half years (Dallon) yelled as Rivers started to walk but fell on his bottom giggling. So I stood by him and kissed him picking up Rivers helping him walk. In those 2 years The Strokes have been doing pretty good and had stopped touring for about a year, a little less than a year, Julian and the rest had tried to call and explain but I would always hang up when they said their names and in those times I found a really sweet guy name Dallon. He is tall, has brown hair, extremely beautiful eyes and is only a year and a couple months younger than me. He knows the whole story about what happened with me and Julian and this baby but he accepted me even with a child so I instantly fell in love. He is kinda shy which is perfect for me but also funny. Joana and Albert still are going out but the guys don't have any contact with me. The thing is I never told Julian that I had his baby and I don't think that Nick told him either but it doesn't matter it's not like I'm gonna see him again because if I did I would walk away. After playing with Rivers for a while I put him down for a nap. When going back into the main area Dallon pulls me into a kiss so I smiled, he laid me down on the couch and got on top of me still kissing me, when all of a sudden all the guys plus Joana trying to push them back out came in

"Cass we need to ta-" Julian stopped as he saw me and Dallon kissing on the couch and you could see on the others faces that they were shocked and it became awkward so Dallon got off of me helping me sit up.

"Uh what are you doing here?" I said getting a bit angry

"Can we talk outside for a bit I need to talk to you privately" he asked and I glared at him and crossed my arms

"Or you can get out my fucking apartment you lying asshole!" I said gritting my teeth

"Cass I need to talk to you" Julian said getting a bit annoyed and then Rivers started to cry

"thanks a lot Julian for fucking waking him up" I went to Rivers' nursery and rocked him back and forth so Julian came in leaving the rest in the living room

"So we had only be broken up for around 2 years and you had a child that looks around 2 as well, what did you just go and fuck him right after or what" he spat at me so I turned around with tears streaming down my face so his look softened

"Julian...we met only a year and a half ago...." I said going into my room and locking the door to get them away from me. There was knocking at the door so I said to go away

"It's me Cassy" Dallon said through the door so I laid Rivers down and opened the door falling into his arms "I know this is hard but I think you should hear their side of the story" and I looked at him crazily "I know I know but they have a really good reason trust me" he said kissing me so I kissed him back wrapping my arms around him. I wiped my eyes and collected myself then headed to where everyone was.

"So what makes the story then huh" I said grumpily and sassily

"Cass calm down" Joana said

"Well would you want to talk to someone who you used to love that cheated on you with some random chick and you found out right when you had the courage to call them telling then you were going to have their baby only to find out that they were fucking or dating some girl, right when you thought that they weren't going to go behind your back and cheat or leave you for someone else because you were having their child" I spat and they were all taken back at me letting out all my thoughts and emotions in such a large amount since I don't really do that "so what's your just peachy news huh, what validates your reason to cheat on someone who you told them that you loved them"

"I was pissed off my mind because one of the interviewers kept on flirting with me so I got mad and ended up going to a bar to drink" he said so I was about to burst out yelling but he added more "that's not all though I only drank a couple of beers and I can hold that down but someone bought me a drink and I drank it but the bartender didn't say who bought it for me, next thing you know I'm in some girls room and I guess we did things because I woke up naked. But I can't remember a thing, I think she drugged me..." He said so I became quiet

"I'm so sorry, I just thought that you didn't love me anymore back then and I was angry" I said feeling bad for yelling at him so he hugged me. I awkwardly patted his back and broke the hug so he looked at me weirdly. "Julian it's such a relief to know this but I love Dallon now.."  I said scooting next to him and his expression changed to extreme sadness as if he were to cry "I'm so sorry I should have heard your side earlier" I said hugging him so I mouthed to Joana and Dallon saying 'what do I do?!??' And they shrugged their shoulders, the other guys looked at me in my distress "so um why did you come today and not any other day" I asked slowly breaking the hug

"We saw Joana walking and we stopped and talked to her then we asked about you and she said you don't  really want to see us so we kinda rushed here to talk finally after all these years of silence" Nikolai spoke up and I pursed my lips together nodding my head. Dallon looked at his watch and said

"I have to get to work, I'll see you later. Hope you guys settle things out" he gave a small smile to all of them and then kissed me leaving. Fab and Julian had frowned as I did kiss him and he left.

"So um you guys want anything to eat I have left over pasta from yesterday that I can heat up" I said twiddling my thumbs and they shook their heads. I decided to wake up Rivers from his nap so I gave him a bottle and he ran to the main room. Julian's face lit up when he saw him fully

"Come here buddy" he said motioning his arms towards him "what's his name" he asked as he sat him on his lap

"Rivers" I replied smiling at bit at Julian looking so happy with Rivers giggling and bouncing in his lap, I saw Albert smiling at me smiling at Julian and Rivers so I looked towards Albert but he quickly looked away still smirking so I straightened my shirt out and cleared my throat slightly.

"He looks just like us" Julian smirked at me so I cleared my throat, blushing, looking down at the floor.

"Let's watch a movie huh!" Joana mentioned breaking the awkward tension. I mouthed a thank you to her and she have me a small smile. She popped one in and we all watched. The movie had ended and Rivers had fallen asleep in Julian's lap so he helped put him in his crib. River has a weird sleeping schedule he likes to take short naps but during the night he sleep for a long time like an older person. So he's probably gonna be sleep for an hour or 2. "I ordered pizza by the way" Joana said as we walked back to the main room. Albert and Nick were rough housing while Nikolai was reading a random book off my shelf and Fab was flipping through the channels, this reminded me of the times of when we would just chill and mess around so I smiled

"What are you smiling about" Nick smirked at me and I shook my head "come oooon" he pushed for me to answer so I rolled my eyes laughing a bit "see there's that smile" he beamed and I again rolled my eyes.

"I was thinking when we would just chill like old days" I said.// We hung out for a while getting a little more comfortable but still a little awkward. Rivers had woken up so I changed him then brought him to the main rooming.

"He has Julian's eyes and face structure kind of but your nose and lips" Nikolai said while he was playing with him and I chuckled awkwardly as Julian put his arm around my shoulder so I moved his arm off of me and he slightly frowned. Dallon came in and saw they were still here so he said hi to all of them, Rivers came over to us then Dallon picked him up swinging him around so Rivers let out an adorable giggle which I laughed at.

"Da da" Rivers said and Dallon beamed with happiness "Da da" Rivers said again so Dallon grabbed me pulling me into a big kiss. I kind of forgot that everyone else was there so when I turned around they all looked sad so I awkwardly laughed and so did Dallon.

"I'm gonna go to the store want anything?" Dallon asked obviously wanting to leave and I shook my head so he left giving me a small peck on the lips.

"So he calls not his real father 'da da' but I'm no one to him" Julian said picking up Rivers

"Julian you really want to start on this topic" I said putting my hand on my hip and he gave me an obviously look "well first of all you weren't here for all his life so far and two Dallon was there for almost all of it of course he's gonna call him da da" I said and he smacked on his teeth

"Well Rivers deserves to know his real father" he said smiling trying to get Rivers to call him da da.

"What to know that his real father went out drinking from getting angry and yes I feel bad that you may have been drugged or did you take in on which alcohol you were drinking" I said he pursed his lips "you remember don't you..." I said quietly and he opened his mouth to say something but I got to it before him "do you think you were possibly drugged or took a strong alcohol" and he stayed quiet "so you weren't drugged you probably just drank something strong and you became incredibly drunk!" I yelled then took Rivers away from him going outside to take Rivers to a park. I walked there and played with him cooling my nerves a bit. I saw Dallon stop the car as he saw me with Rivers

"What are you doing out here I thought you were your friends" he said confused and I chuckled

"They aren't my friends they are giant cunts besides Joana she's my best friend" and he have me a confused look so I explained. We went back and saw Julian was crying so we both felt bad but mostly I felt bad for yelling at him. "I'm sorry Jules I didn't mean to yell and I know he's your son I'm just still a little mad from what happened before, it's hard to let go of the past. And at least while you're here you can see Rivers as much as you would like" I tried to comfort him which seemed to work, it was kind of weird to see Julian cry because everyone is so used to his rockstar persona and think he's always cool and never worried but in reality he's human too. "Hey while I'm working you can watch over Rivers" I said and handed him Rivers and he smiled at me and Rivers. He have Rivers a million kisses and Rivers giggled, so I laughed and Julian looked me deep in the eyes and I looked back into his. Dallon put his hand on my shoulder getting a little jealous and I looked him putting my hand on top of his. Julian got a good look at our hands and saw the rings so his expression dropped

"You guys are married..." he said in a monotone voice

"We are engaged not married yet" he said kissing me and I gave him a small smile and he ignored what he just said and kept on playing with Rivers so the others awkwardly stood there

"So I think we should get going it was nice to meet you" said Nick waving to Dallon so Julian gave Rivers to me and stood up.

"If you want you can come and pick up Rivers tomorrow because I have work" I said to Julian and he nodded his head smiling a bit and left leaving me, Joana, and Dallon left in the house.

"I don't like Julian" Dallon admitted and I asked him why "because from the little time he's been here he already starts problems with you and it seems like he's trying to hit on you at times"

"I think he's just a little hurt because of them being together back then" Joana said and Dallon sighed agreeing with her. Joana left into her room and I put Rivers down to sleep for the night. Dallon pulled me into our room and whispered in my ear

"Let's start where we left off" so I smiled and went on with the night.
