Chapter 3- I'm Always Right
04:24, 2 February 2025I couldn't believe it. It was impossible. Well, it says she's been missing since 2006, that's the year she got pregnant with me. So what? She world-flipped and slept with Tony Stark and then came back? What if she had powers? What if that's how I got here? I got here when I really needed to.
But then, I told Natasha that my father did this to me. She now knows my father is Tony. I told Cap not to argue, but the argument may actually happen. It'll all be about restraining Natasha, though. Whish means Coulson's gonna die. Well, I've seen snippets of Marvel's Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D. He does survive. So maybe not everything is fucked up.
I have decided that I need to stop this. I rip the IV out of my hand and start to lift myself up. A concussion, I'm used to. A stab wound, not so much. But my determination to save Tony Stark overrides the screams from my body to stop.
Step by step, I walk to the lab to see them all fighting. I don't even bother listening in, I just knew what I had to do.
"STOP IT!" I bellow.
Everyone looks up at me.
"I DID NOT KNOW MY DAD WAS TONY STARK. TONY DID NOT DO THIS TO ME!"
It's utter silence.
"Now, we only have a few minutes. Clint and a few of Loki's men will be here. They will knock out some of the engines. So put this out of the way. Lives are at stake here. Now be on the look out. Protect the Helicarrier."
They just stare at me blankly.
"NOW!"
Thor, Fury, Natasha, and Steve all leave the room leaving me with Bruce and Tony.
"You have a stab wound in your abdomen. You shouldn't be out of bed right now, much less standing." Bruce warns.
"I'm fine, Brucie, I'm fine. I just need to sit down."
Bruce pushes out a stool and I sit on it.
"Wassup, Daddy-O?" I ask Tony.
He just stares at me.
"I only see it a small bit." I tell them.
"What?" Bruce asks.
"Our family resemblance."
"I- I..." Tony stutters, "I have a daughter?"
"In the flesh, bitch. Oops. Cap doesn't like that kind of language."
"What?" Tony looks at me, confused.
"Something for later on." I tell him.
"So my daughter... she's the one who thinks she's from another planet? And from the future?"
"If I'm not from the future than riddle me this, Peter Parker."
"Who?" Tony looks at me strangely.
"Doesn't matter. Not now."
"Well then how am I supposed to know your right?"
"You will soon enough."
"How old is he?"
"Confidential." I reply in a monotone voice.
"Okay..." Both Bruce and Tony reply at the same time.
"So... how far are you on hacking S.H.E.I.L.D.'s servers?"
"How did you know that?"
"I know everything that is, well now I can guess was, going to happen."
"What do you mean?" Bruce asks.
"I already fucked up the timeline. But I believe it's worth it. But now the future isn't going to be the same. Not all, but most, of the stuff I now know is inaccurate. Unless its already in motion." I tell them.
Tony's eyes bulge, "Have you not read the Flash comics? You should know better than to do that."
"Wow. Marvel sponsoring their rival? Oof." I let out a small laugh.
"We're comic books too?" Tony asks.
"Of course!" I smile.
I look at what they're doing and to their surprise I know more than they thought I'd know. Like, I am Tony Stark's daughter. I have to be smart.
"So... I was thinking..." I start.
"What?" Tony asks.
"My mom came to this world. Or she came to mine. She's from one or the other. I was thinking, what if we have a connection to the multiverse? What if we can go to other dimensions like this one?"
Tony lets out a small chuckle, "Are you sure you read that CT scan right?"
"Yeah," Bruce replies, "Her mind may be a bag full of cats, but she's not suffering from brain damage. And she seems to be perfectly sane."
"So, what, her whole idea of this is fake, and she just predicts the future?"
"If that were true, then why does my knowledge of the future end in 2023?" I deflect.
"May I point out something?" Bruce asks.
"Go ahead, Brucie."
He seems irritated at my nickname for him, "What if you die in 2023?"
"Well," To be honest I'm kind of baffled by this idea, "Then I got to spend the last 11 years of my life doing what I love most."
"And what's that?" Tony asks me, but I'm not sure he'll like the response.
"Saving people. Hanging out with the best Avengers in the multiverse. Meet a certain Doctor that is the best Doctor in the Avengers. Sorry, not you, Brucie." I let out a small laugh for my last part.
"But the multiverse is theorized." Bruce points out.
"Well, its not a matter of belief." I tell him, "It gets proven soon enough to you guys. And I've been right so far, haven't I?"
"Well, we haven't heard from the others yet, so you may have been wrong." Tony tells me.
As if on cue, Nat walks in.
"She was right. They came. We now have Clint. Loki's plan didn't work." She says, looking at us 3, mainly me though.
"See?" I point out, "Also, Nat, Selvig should be in New York. If he isn't then maybe you can ask Clint."
"Thanks Abigail."
"At least one of you guys have manners." I laugh.
Nat laughs with me for a few seconds and then leaves the room. I look at Banner and Tony who look shocked.
"You..." Tony pauses, "You were right."
"What do you mean? It's not that hard."
"Not that hard to what? See the future?" Bruce asks.
"I don't see the future," I clarify, "And no. It's not hard to be right. I'm always right."
