Chapter 8

Misty's POV

I woke up because I heard my phone buzzing on the nightstand beside me. I opened my eyes and looked around. Where was I? oh yeah I'm at Calum's. I checked my phone to see a message from Jess.

-Where are you M? Xx

-I'm at Calum's sorry I fell asleep!

I closed my phone as I rolled out of his bed. I checked the time 8:45. wow it was late. I opened Calum's door quietly and walked out into the hall back to the living room. But before I reached the living room I heard Luke, Michael, and Ashton talking to Calum.

"Don't mess up this time mate."

I think that was Michael.

"I'll try not to."

Calum.

"I'm just scared I'll make a mistake and lose her like i did last time."

"You won't Calum. She came back for you for a reason okay? Just make sure she's safe and make sure you are only hers and she is only yours."

Ashton.

They all stopped talking so I walked out into the open and pretended I didn't hear anything.

"Oh hey guys."

I gave them a wave and they all stood up except for Calum.

"Misty!!"

They all shouted in unison. After they gave me a group hug I figured it was time to go back to Jess's house.

"Calum can you drop me off at Jess's?"

"You don't want to stay? It's an hour drive away so you won't get there until 10."

"You're welcome to stay here tonight if you want!"

I heard Luke as he walked to the kitchen. I thought about It until I shrugged.

"Okay but I didn't bring any clothes or a toothbrush."

"No worries I'll let you borrow my clothes and I'll find you a toothbrush."

Calum winked at me as he walked back to his room.

"Thanks."

I managed to say as my cheeks became pink again. I walked back to Calum's room too find my phone to tell Jess that I was going to stay the night at Calum's.

-Hey Jess! hope you don't mind, I'm staying the night at Calum's!

She replied almost right away.

-Sure thing! See you tomorrow! Xx

Then she texted me again. I almost choked on my own spit.

-P.s. Don't forget to use protection M! (;

I shut off my phone and jumped as Calum giggled behind me. Was he behind me the whole time?

"Oh my god Calum! Did you just read that?"

I yelled at him playfully slapping his arm away.

"Maybe."

He said winking at me and sitting beside me. He handed me nicely folded clothes with a toothbrush on top.

"Here you go now brush up."

"Thanks Cal."

I took the clothes and rushed to the bathroom peeling the dress off of my body and stepping into the shower.

I walked out of the shower and realized I forgot a towel. Wow Goodjob Misty. so I did the only thing I could do at the moment. I opened the door a little bit and yelled for Calum.

"Calum? Can you get me a towel?"

No one was in his room so I decided to run out and grab the towel on the bed.

Ok one two three. I dashed out and as soon as I picked up the towel and wrapped it around my body Calum walked in. It scared me so I almost dropped the towel exposing my body.

"Oh sorry do you want me to go outside so you can change?"

"Oh no I just needed a towel so I ran out here."

I laughed awkwardly. Calum scratched his neck and turned around so his back was facing me.

"Go ahead I won't look."

"What no! I'm gonna go into the bathroom Calum!"

I heard him chuckle as I closed the door behind me.

I picked up the clothes me let me borrow. A white t-shirt and some plaid boxers. I slipped on the tshirt and shorts and walked out of the bathroom tossing my dress on the other side of the bed.

Calum was laying on the bed wearing basketball shorts and of course no t-shirt. I stood in the doorway staring at his toned body. Calum broke the silence.

"Take a picture. It lasts longer."

He smirked and got off the bed to go to the bathroom.

i went over to the bed and grabbed my phone to go on twitter. I regretted it. in my mentions were a lot of 5sos fans telling me to stay away from Calum. there were a few who told me that we were cute. But we weren't a thing right?

I decided to send out a tweet.

"Sorry guys but Calum and I aren't a 'thing' just to clear things up. Sorry for the confusion."

After sending the tweet I closed twitter because I heard Calum open the bathroom door. He walked over to the opposite side of the bed and grabbed a pillow walking away from the bed.

"Where are you going?"

I asked him wondering why he was leaving the room.

"I thought you wanted the room to yourself for the night that's all."

He turned around tucking the pillow under one of his muscular arms.

"Unless you want me to stay with you for tonight?"

I could hear the desperation in his voice. I didn't want to say anything to ruin the moment so I scooted over and patted the empty spot beside me.

Calum walked to the spot and sat down and laid his pillow beside mine.

"Sorry if you feel uncomfortable and all. I'll leave if you want me too."

I shook my head.

"No really it's fine."

I pulled the cover over my body and turned to face Calum. He was on his phone. I saw his thumbs scrolling to twitter until he came across a tweet and his thumbs froze. The tweet. I forgot.

I saw his eyes turning to mine.

"So you don't think we're a thing?"

He asked smirking.

"Well no because we've only been on 1 date so far."

I laugh awkwardly.

"Well if I take you out tomorrow does that mean we're a thing?"

I shrugged and flipped around so that my back was facing him.

"Goodnight Calum."

"Goodnight Misty."

I heard him chuckle before he got up and turned off the light.

I felt the bed dip beside me and he laid back down. then I felt his arm snake around my waist. To be honest I didn't mind. So I let it be.

"Misty are you awake still?"

"Mmmhm"

I managed to say not moving.

"Can I ask you a question?"

Calum sat up with his back against the headboard.

I flipped over so that my face was facing him. I nodded so he continued.

"Do you still love me? I mean not completely in love with me but do you still have feelings for me like you did in the past?"

I heard his voice grow deeper.

I sat up and I instantly knew the answer.

"Calum."

I looked into his eyes.

"I've loved you through these past years but I didn't believe that you loved me back so I tried forgetting about you bu-"

I was cut off by lips that came crashing into mine.

I felt one of his arms wrap around my waist. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back not wanting him to stop.

"Misty."

He murmured through the kiss.

"I love you."

I heard him say. So he still loved me after all these years. That's when I felt him flip me over so that he was on top of me. He pulled away but his arms were on both sides of my head. we both gasped as we stopped.

"Misty do you-"

He stopped mid sentence waiting for my answer. I know what he was asking to do. So I nodded and kissed him again.

In between our kiss he lifted his shirt off of me and kissed my neck.

"God you're so beautiful."

My heart melted but I blushed because I forgot that I wasn't wearing a bra. I crossed my arms and looked away blushing. Calum saw my embarrassment so he grabbed my hands and entwined our fingers together never losing eye sight.

He slowly pulled down his shorts leaving him in his briefs. He kissed me again and pulled away.

"You sure you want to-"

I cut him off by pulling his lips back to mine.

I pulled away and stared into his eyes. I remembered the text that Jess sent me. Calum realized what I was thinking of so he opened the drawer to his nightstand and tore open a box containing foil packets. He closed the drawer and opened the packet.

I blushed and looked away as he slid it on.

I could hear him chuckle as I looked back into his eyes.

I felt my shorts sliding down my legs. I felt nervous because it was my first time and anything could go wrong.

Calum saw the worry in my eyes so he cupped my chin with his hand and asked me.

"If I'm hurting you, tell me okay?"

I nodded and kissed him again.

Then I felt it.

I felt him slip inside of me. I gasped as I dug my nails into his back sure enough to leave finger nail marks.

"Hold on there."

I heard Calum say as he went again.

I moaned his name as he pulled out going in again and again.

He finally moaned my name.

When he said it it sounded so soft and strained like he needed me.

After we finished Calum stood up to throw the Condom away. I looked away as he faced me. Naked.

He laughed.

"Misty you don't have to be nervous you know."

He pulled on his shorts and jumped back into bed with me. I checked the time. It was 4:30 in the morning.

He pulled me close and we cuddled for the rest of the night.
