Chapter 19

"Baby, wake up." I felt someone shake me lightly. "Whaaat?" I moaned and opened my eyes. "You need to get up, we have to check out of the room." Cody told me. I slowly got up. "How did I get in here?" I asked.

"You fell asleep in my dressing room and I didn't want to wake you." He shrugged and walked out the room, I got up and went into the bathroom. I quickly showered and then changed into some sweats and a shirt.

I tied my hair up into a massy bun and applied some makeup. I packed all my things in my suitcases and packed my bag to take to the rehursals today. "Cody, I'm packed!" I shouted as I walked into the living room.

He wasn't in there. "Cody?!" I called louder, he still didn't answer. I called his Alli to ask if he was there but he wasn't so I called him. I heard his phone ring, I followed the noise. His phone was on the counter in the kitchen.

"For god's sake." I rolled my eyes, grabbed the phone and walked back out. I sat on the couch and turned on the tv. After a while I heard the door open. "Hey." Cody greeted. "Where have you been?" I asked, trying not to sound too controlling. "Why?" "I want to know." "I went over to Jake and Alli's." He lied.

"And that's why you didn't take your phone?" "Yup." He walked into the kitchen and then back out. "Where's my phone?" "Who's number is the unsaved one?" I asked. "No one." "Clearly that's a lie." "You don't know them so it's not important."

He came over and tried to take the phone off me, I moved it away from him and stood up on the couch. "Come on, just give it here." He reached for it again. "Why can't you tell me you were going to see them?" I tested.

"What are you on about?" "I read the texts, I know everything." "I was with Jake!" "I asked Alli if you were over there, what do you think she said?" Cody looked away from me. "We need to go, Lauren." "Cody.." "I'm not doing this here." "Cody Simpson, tell me who this person is right now!" I instructed.

"Lauren, get down." He pulled me off the couch. "Cody!" Someone knocked on the door, Cody answered it. "Where are your cases?" He asked me. "Find them yourself." I threw his phone at him and grabbed my bag.

I walked out of the room and went to the lobby. "He met the person." I told Jake. "What person?" "The one he's texting." "Seriously?" "Yes! They were texting this morning and he said he'll wait until I'm in the shower and then he'll go and meet her for a little while." I sat on one of the seats.

"We told you to come and tell us." "I didn't know until I was dressed." I sighed, Jake put his hand on my leg. "I'll find out who it is, I promise." He could tell I was stressed. "I'm scared of losing him." I looked down.

Jake pulled me up into a hug, I held onto him tightly. "What's going on here?" I heard Cody's voice, I let go of Jake and faced Cody. "He was being nice." "Hmm." Cody hummed, he looked annoyed. I ignored it.

"Let's go!" Jake broke the tension. "Where's Alli?" I asked. "She's already on the bus." Jake answered, I nodded. We walked out of the hotel and onto the bus. When you first walked in you were in the kitchen. There was a table and seats in there, in the middle of the bus were bunks. A set of bunks on each side and then in the back was a couch and a tv.

"I'm on the top bunk." I said and put my bag on there. I looked at Alli who was asleep on her bunk, she was on the top too. "Aw, she's sleeping." I cooed. "Let's go in the back, we don't want to wake her." I walked into the back of the bus and turned on the tv.

I sat next to Jake on the couch and Cody sat on the other side of him. "Guys, can you just sort this out?" Jake tried to brake the awkwardness. "She doesn't trust me." Cody stated. "He lied to me." "Right, I'm going to the front of the bus until you sort this out."

He got up and walked out, I layed on the couch and put my feet on Cody's lap. "I'm sorry for going threw your phone." I broke the silence. Cody looked at me and then away again. "And I'm sorry for throwing it at you." He still didn't answer.

"It was Carrie." Cody admitted after about 10 minutes of silence. I raised my eyebrows at him. "She told me she wanted to see me alone." "I know, I read it." "Oh yeah." He looked away. "What did she say when you met her?"

"She told me to either leave you or.." He stopped. "Or what?" I asked. "Or I'll have to keep a close eye on you." "What's that supposed to mean?" "She'll hurt you again." "Whar does she want with me?" I asked.

"Nothing, she wants me." "She can't have you." I got protective. Cody laughed slightly. "I don't want her to have me." He confessed, I smiled slightly. "She tried to kiss me." He said. No emotion was in his voice at all.

"W-What?" I whispered. "I pushed her away as soon as her lips touched mine, and then I left." I didn't answer. "Lauren, I promise. I wouldn't do anything to ruin this." I took my feet off his lap. "Why couldn't you tell me this as soon as it happened?!" I raised my voice.

"And how am I supposed to believe you're not lying? How do I know you didn't kiss her back?" I got up, Cody stood up too. "You have to believe me! I thought you trusted me." "Yeah and then you went behind my back."

I tried to walk away but Cody caught my wrist. "I didn't go behind your back, I was going to tell you!" "The only reason you told me was because you were caught!" I stated and reached for the door. Cody pushed me from the door and locked it.

I sat down on the couch and sighed. "What now? You won't let me leave until I belie-" I was cut off by Cody crashing his lips into mine, he pushed me back on the couch. "Please don't be mad at me." Cody whispered against my lips.

"I'm sorry." He added. "Will you be seeing her again?" I asked as I sat up, he got up and then sat next to me. "Hopefully not." "What's that supposed to mean?" "She's in every city we go to." He reminded.

"And promise me you won't text her or anyone else?" "Can I text Jake?" Cody smirked at me, I narrowed my eyes at him. "I'm joking, I'm joking." He laughed. "I won't text anyone." He tried to hold in his laugh.

"You're not funny." I laughed at him. "I am, or you wouldn't be laughing." He smirked and kissed me. Cody pulled me onto his lap, I put one leg either side of him and wrapped my arms around his neck.

"These lips are mine, okay?" I said as I kissed him. "Something else is yours too." He winked, I laughed and lightly slapped his face. "No, I don't want that." "You weren't saying that the other night." "Cody!" I giggled.

"Can we just keep it between us? I don't want anyone finding out." I confessed. "Sure but why not?" He asked. "I'm only 15." "Bu-" "I don't want people thinking the wrong thing." "It would only be like Alli and Jake and people like that." I looked away.

"Okay, I have a confession to make." Cody spoke up, I looked at him. "I kind of told my dad and Jake might know too." "What?! Cody!" I tried to get up but he pulled me back down on the couch. "I'm sorry, I didn't know how you felt about it."

"You should of thought of it." "Laureeeen!" Cody sang, I looked at him unimpressed. "I'm sorrrrrrry!" He sung again, I tried to not laugh. "I love youuuuuuu!" He continued, I laughed. "You're so goofy!" I pushed him playfully.

"I really do love you." He reminded and pulled me into him for a hug. "I'm hungry, let's go eat." I got up and walked to the door. "It won't open." I turned and looked at him. Cody's eyes quickly switched from my bum to my face.

"Oh.. Uh.. It's.. What?" He laughed, I laughed too. "It won't open." "Oh yeah, it's locked." Cody got up and unlocked it, I walked through to the front of the bus. I saw Alli and Jake sat with each other, I put my hand infront of Cody and told him to be quiet so I could hear what they were saying.

"Cody would go mental.. I think." Alli said. "I know but then it might make it worse if he finds out himself." Jake pointed out. I turned and gave Cody a confused look, he shrugged. I turned back around.

"Maybe we should just keep this between us." Alli suggested. "Yeah, he won't find out if it's just us that knows." Jake agreed, their lips connected. I was shocked. I looked at Cody, he looked mad. I pushed him back to the back of the bus and locked the door.

"What the fuck was that?!" He raised his voice. "Cody.." "No! That's my little sister and my best friend, why the hell was he kissing her?!" He shouted. "Cody, calm down!" "She's my little sister!" "It was just a kiss!"

"I don't care what it is! If they're hiding something else from me I will kill him!" I pushed him down on the couch. "Stop!" I instructed. "But that's my baby sister!" "She's 15 and she's happy, leave it out and stop being so over protective." I put my hands on my hips.

A smirk appeared on Cody's lips. "What?" I asked annoyed. "You look so hot when you're mad." I rolled my eyes. "You just have to act like you didn't see or hear anything." I told him. "I don't want to." "Do it for Alli?" "I don-" "Cody.."

"She's my baby." He gave me puppy eyes. "Do it for me?" I pleaded. "I guess I'll have to." He rolled his eyes and got up, I wrapped my arms around his neck. Cody's arms wrapped around me. "I should get a reward for this though."

"Hmm, I'll think about it." I pecked his lips. When I pulled away Cody's moved his face forward to re-connect our lips. Someone tried to open the door but couldn't. "Guys, open the door." I heard Jake.

I opened it for him. "So you haven't killed each other yet." Jake said as he walked in. Cody gave me a look, I sent him one back. "Nope." He fake smiled, he wasn't hiding his temper well at all. "Let's get some food."

I pulled Cody through the bus. "Cody, quit the attittude." "He kissed my sister." He said sharply. I rolled my eyes. "Please?" I whispered as Jake and Alli walked into the front of the bus. "What do you want to eat?" Cody asked.

"Well this is boring." I groaned after a few hours of watching tv with everyone. "It's only ten minutes now." Cody told me. We pulled up at the hotel after a while. "Let's go." Cody got up, we all followed him.

"Do you have the keys to the Penthouse?" Cody asked. "Name?" The lady at the counter answered without looking away from her computer. "Simpson." She looked up at him and then back down. "Oh yes, the rest of your party has already arrived so they have all your keys."

"Is it possible to get four more?" He asked. "No, four is the limit. Your party already has three, you can have one more but that's it." I rolled my eyes at her. "He asked for four more keys so he's going to need four more keys." I stepped in.

"Excuse me young lady?" "Yes, excuse you. Now they keys?" I held my hand out for them, I could see Cody smirking at me out the corner of my eye. "Here." The lady placed them in my hand. I smiled and walked away.

"Wow." Cody jogged to my side. I smirked. "Where did that come from?" I didn't answer, I just placed a key in his hand. We walked over to Jake and Alli. "What's that face for?" Jake asked Cody. "This chick is sassy." He pointed to me. I smiled.

We walked to the elevator and went up to the penthouse. "What's up, Stirling?!" I gave him a bro hug, everyone followed. After a few hours of chilling we had to start to get ready. I was given a dress to wear later.

It was purple and so beautiful (the dress Selena Gomez wore at the premier of Never Say Never). I also had matching purple high heels. I got in the shower and washed my hair and body, once I got out I changed into some sweats and a tank.

"This is Janice, she's going to be doing your hair. This is Tracy and she's going to be doing your makeup." Matt introduced, I smiled and greeted them. "Sit up here sweetie." Tracy told me, I got onto the seat and let them do their work.

My hair was straight and then 6 inches of the tips were curled, I had my bangs tied back. My makeup was done natural but my eyes had quite a bit of definition. I went into the bedroom and changed into my dress.

"Do I look okay?" I asked Justin as I walked out of the bedroom. "You look lovely." He smiled, I thanked him. "Can you take a picture for me, I want to send it to my mom." I gave him my phone, he took the picture for me. I sent it to my mom via text.

"Lauren, I need to talk to you about later." Matt pulled me over to him. "Yeah?" I asked. "You've seen the outfits right?" "Right." "You're okay with everything, yeah?" "Of course." "Cody will tell you when you guys need to go to get ready." "I know, he told me."

"Okay, are you sure you don't need me to answer any last minute questions?" "No, I'm all good." I smiled, we walked into the main room. "Lauren, does my hair loo-" Cody stopped what he was saying and starred at me.

He looked me up and down a few times, his jaw was literally on the ground. "Does your hair what?" I giggled. "You look so.. Like.. Just wow." He pulled me close and wrapped his arms around my waist.

I put my forehead on his. "No, no, no, no, no!" Tracy pulled Cody away from me. "You can't ruin her makeup, no kissing until you get off the carpet." "Bu-" "No and keep hugging at a minimum as she had sparkles on her, we don't want sparkles on you."

Cody pouted, I laughed. "Aw baby." I teased him. "I want her." He moaned, I giggled at his childish ways. "Just focus on yourself right now." He was told, once we were ready we left to get into the car which we had been sent.

"I'm scared." I confessed as we pulled up at the carpet. "It'll be fine." He comforted. We got out the car and the girls started to scream louder. Cody smiled and waved to them. We were escorted onto the carpet.

Our names were called from many directions, I was smiling for photo's when someone caught my eye. "Cody! It's Justin Bieber!" I pointed to him. "I know, we'll talk to him when we get inside." He told me. Once we got inside I was pulling Cody's arm to get him to go to Justin with me.

"We're sitting with him, Lauren." He told me. "I want to see him." I moaned, Cody sighed and walked over there. "Hey, what's up Justin?!" Cody gave him a bro hug, I waited to be introduced. "This is my girlfriend, Lauren." He pushed me forward slightly.

I gave Justin a hug. "She's a looker." Justin said, I felt myself grin and my cheeks heated up. "Yeah, but she's mine." Cody smiled at me. We talked with Justin for a while and then we all went and sat down. Matt sat with us as well as Scooter who manages Cody and Justin too.

"Baby, we gotta go." Cody whispered in my ear. I nodded and we got up, we went backstaged and went to seperate dressing rooms. I changed into my outfit which was black, disco pants and a white shirt with straps.

The straps were black and there was slits in the side of the shirt, you could see my side. I had black heels on and my hair was up in a ponytail. I went to meet the other dancers when I was ready. "Everyone put their hand in." We all did so, we did a chant and then broke away.

"Let's go!" We ran to the side of the stage ready for Cody to start singing. When I heard his voice I knew it was game on, I went onstage on my cue. I didn't take any notice of anyone but me and the way my body was moving.

Cody and I had some partner work at the end of the song, I knew I had to focus on the dance and not Cody. Cody finished the last line and the crowd went crazy, a massive grin appeared on mine and Cody's face.

"Oh my gosh!" I turned and hugged Cody, he held me tightly. "You were amazing!" I praised. I had to get off stage so I did, I went and changed back into my dress and untied my hair. I went back to my seat without waiting for Cody.

"I did it!" I jumped on Matt and hugged him. "You nailed it!" "It was so fun up their!" I told him. Cody came over and hugged me. "You did amazing baby!" He kissed me many times, I giggled. "You were even better!" I connected our lips.

"Tonight was crazy!" I said as we walked into our bedroom. "Tell me about." "Performing is such a rush." "I told you." Cody sat on the bed and took off his shoes, I kicked mine across the room. "I'll do it." I told him, he looked at me confused.

"I'll dance every night." Cody's face lit up. "Seriously?!" "Yes!" He got up and picked me up. He spun me around, I giggled as he did so. "What are you guys shouting about now?" Alli asked as she came in.

"She's doing the tour!" Cody said and ran out, I laughed as Alli closed the door after him. "What made you say yes?" She asked. "The rush performing tonight gave me." I said as I slipped my dress off and put one of Cody's shirts on.

"He's going to love you forever, you know that?" I just grinned at her. "Als, can I ask you something?" I asked as I sat on the bed with her. "Sure, anything." She smiled. "What's up with you and Jake?" I questioned.

Alli got uncomfortable and started moving a little. "We're just friends." "Are you sure?" "Yup." "You wouldn't lie to me, right?" "No.." "Okay, just making sure." I smiled, Cody walked back in and threw his shirt at me.

"Put it away." I told him. "You do it." He said as he got into the bed. I rolled my eyes and put his shirt away. "See you tomorrow." Alli smiled and left. I got under the blankets and cuddled up to Cody. "I love you." I confessed.

"I love you." He replied, I smiled as he kissed my head. "Go to sleep, you have your first show tomorrow." He told me, I closed my eyes. Cody ran his fingertips over my back gently, it made me really sleepy.
