Truth

We talked about whatever else before the door opens, Cato comes in with a couple bags.

" Here, I got this for you." He throws me my favorite tea " Drink up."

I can feel a ' see?' stare from Enobaria. Him getting my favorite drink doesn't mean anything. Does it? No, he was just being nice.

Enobaria looks at him before looking at me. " I'll be off, you two have a GREAT night. Stay out of trouble."

" We'll try." I say. Cato gives me a look before looking at Baria who in her own way was saying something to Cato with her expression. Then the door shuts.

I feel mega awkward.

He lifts his brows as he walks to the kitchen setting the bags on the counter. " Hopefully this will be enough for tonight." He whispers to himself.

It was bags full of alcohol, that was enough for a whole party. I didn't want to think about it, when Cato is drunk he's touchy. I'm not sure where that is going to lead to tonight.

" I'm going upstairs.' I say quickly to avoid any conversation with what just happened.

" Did you eat." He asks stopping me.

" Yea. Enobaria watched me eat." I just turned when he stopped me again, " Kay?"

I turned, he put his hand on my forehead. I give him a look. " I'm making sure you aren't hot." He mumbled as he was looking at me.

We stood there for a good minute, His eyes stayed on me the whole time, not breaking eye contact. I felt my heart speed up, I try to nonchalantly look away waiting for him to take his hand off, luckily he took it off almost instantly after I looked away.

" You should take a cool shower." He instructs.

" Yes sir." I half joked as I went up the stairs.

" Try to take a nap!" He calls after me.

" You sound like my dad."

I heard him chuckle saying something but I didn't quite catch it.

Nor do I want to hear what he said..It's Cato.

I ate, now I feel tired. That seems to be a returning thing with this shot. It'll be good to take a nap before tonight.

And I did just that, after awhile I wake up to a car people talking before the door opens.

" CATOOO" I hear a girl say, I hear some laughing before the light mumble of talking.

Who was that voice, and why did he sound like that? I feel irritation, who's the girl? Since we broke up did he have a different girl?

Then I see another car pull up.

then another, and another.

" IT'S PARTY TIME!" I hear a boy say.

" Kaylaya is here?" I hear a girl say.

" Ohhh bro she's so hot!"

" Why isn't she down here?"

" Kay-lay-a!" Another guy yelled.

" GO get her bro!"

Oh gosh... maybe I don't want to go down there. I can only imagine Cato's face.

I hear footsteps up the stairs, then some knocking...if  I just pretend...

" Kaylaya?" It was Nelly.

I can't ignore Nelly.

I mean I could.. I didn't fully forgive her yet, but..in the past.

I get off my bed, tying my hair in a bun in case someone else was with her. So I look halfway decent.

I open my door slightly looking out. " Hi." She says with a big smile on her face.

" Hi."

She pushes through my door." Why aren't you downstairs, everyone wants to see you." She says smirking, " Especially the guys."

Just who I want to see.

" I didn't get ready yet. As you can see."

" Leave the crop top on...that's cute. Do you have black skinny jeans?"

" Yea." I go to my closet putting them on.

Maybe she knew who that girl was.

" Was there a girl over Cato. I heard someone yell his name."

She rolls her eyes, " Yea.. Saige."

I try to seem neutral, " Saige?"

" Jackson. Cato's dad-"

" I'm well aware of that whole situation. Let's go." I say quickly.

She looks amused, " I see you two are the same?"

" What does that mean?"

She smiles even more, " You both want eachother to yourselves."

I give her an annoyed look, " Not true. I just don't want him to be whored out because of his dad."

I walk past her down the hall. " Ok." She says simply though I can hear her annoying smile.

I could see several people swarming around downstairs making my gulp.

" Let's show them a good time." Nelly says with a smile.

We walk down the stairs, everyone greets me with a smile or a drunken hug. Some chant when they see me.

" Ok, that's enough." Cato said nudging one of the guys aside looking up at me. He wasn't mad but he didn't seem impressed either. " There you are."

" Here I am." I look around nervously. This isn't good for my anxiety. Since everything happened I've noticed I don't like to much noise.

Good exposure therapy.

A girl comes, snaking her arm around Cato leaning into him. I'm assuming that's Saige.

" I'm Saige." She says blandly.

I smile, " Saige Jackson." I look at Cato who's face straightens.  " Kaylaya, nice to meet you."

She scoffs smirking at me, " Nice to meet you to. I guess."

Cato didn't even look at her, his gaze stayed on me. I didn;t know what he was thinking, why is he doing this again for his dad?

" Theres' food on the table if you hungry. You didn't eat a lot I see." He says his face still very neutral.

" Yea, I didn't feel like being stuffed." I say quickly.

" Well you should go eat, don't want to wilting away." Saige says with a fake smile on her face.

Nelly grabs my hand leading me away, " Control the bitch." She says to Cato as we walk away.

Saige laughs watching us as we walk away. I'll hit her.

" She seems nice." I joke.

" She's on thin ice.... And not just from me." Nelly mutters.

I look at her confused, she tilts her head towards Cato. I look over to him saying something, he looked pissed before nudging her away but she frowns following him like a puppy.

" Let's get you a drink." Nelly says pouring a glass, handing it to me. I take it with one swig, she looks at me impressed " Got to catch up." I smile handing her my glass to refill.

I never drank so much in my life.  Am I even safe to drink with this shot? I guess we'll find out.

As we got into the night it wasn't that bad. I was bummed whenever I saw Saige on Cato but the majority of the boys there kept my company. I never had so much male attention in my life.

I didn't know whether to like it of hate it. But I guess it distract me from Cato locking in the deal.

I can't be mad, he's doing it for his dad. And we're not together.

I swore I saw Cato glaring at the boys, some walked away, others didn't.

" Can I steal her for a moment?"

I thought it was Cato that said it, I turned around to see Vad looking at the guy getting a little to close.

" We're fine here... right babe...sorry I didn't mean to call you babe." He slurs.

I push him away, making him stumble. " Call me that again, and I'll make you an avox." I snapped pushing him out of the way.

I look at Vad," Let's go." I say.

Vad scoffs before holding his hand for me to grab. "When did you get here?" I ask.

" Awhile ago, you've just been busy talking. Someone tipped there was a party, when I saw the address I wanted to come see you since Cato has you in lock and key."

" It hasn't been terrible I guess, just a little weird..Awkward I guess." I shrug.

" Get out of here!" I look over to see Cato has the guy I just pushed in a death grip, throwing him out the door.

People look nervously before looking away. What's a party without Cato making a scene?

Vad smirks looking at all the people then back at me " I'm surprised all these guys are still here. Looks like you've been quite popular. Cato had been staring you down all night. And kicking out everyone that has talked to you."

" He probably kicked him out because he was being weird." I say looking down at the ground. He's busy with Saige to be paying attention to me.

" Ahhh..no. He's had his eyes on you this whole time. Another reason I came over here before he actually did something."

I looked back where he was standing, Saige was on his lap kissing his neck but he was totally ignoring her listening to a conversation with his leg tapping. His eyes met mine but we both looked away to fast.

" Your glass is empty." Vad says grabbing it, " Let's fix that."

" I think I should stop."

" No.. We're having a fun night. We both deserve one." He objects.

He took my hand weaving thorugh the people bringing me to the kitchen pouring me whatever was available. " Bottoms up Musak." He said gulping his all down.

I do the same, the liquid warming my insides. We did a couple rounds. I felt real good, Music was playing, I found myself dancing with Vad yelling the lyrics with him.

But awhile later, some girl came up to the two of us whispering in Vad's ear. They were quick to leave.

And I was left alone.

I think I'm done drinking.

I was on my way to get some water when someone stopped me, another drunk guy.

" Dude, leave her alone." Cato was right there glaring at him, he left before he could even say a word.

" Thank you." I breathe.

He rolls his eyes, " Yea."

" That wasn't the same one was it?" I ask.

He tenses. " No, the other one was the oldest. Saige is younger."

I half nod, " You don't need to do th-"

" I do. I need to." He says quickly.

I soften my gaze, " You don't need to prove anything Cato."

He looks around quickly before his eyes come back to me, " I just do.. Ok? If I don't he'll...I want to be done talking about this with you."

I frown lightly at his comment. " Fine.Sorry. I'll leave tonight so you don't need to worry-"

" I'll leave. Not in our house."

I hate we're having this conversation..

I give a brief nod looking away.

" I'm sorry." He mutters.

I was about to respond when someone yelled over all of us." Let's play Truth or Dare!"  literally everyone came to play wrapping around our large living room.

I give Cato a weak smile going to the couch Vad was now on..no girl. Cato went by Saige. I has half on the chair half on his lap squished.

I did infact not stop drinking, I drank more. To distract me from what Cato needs to do.

All of the truth and dares were dirty, but that makes it interesting. I felt the alcohol soon after, I'm feeling really good, I just want to kiss.

The game started, soon landing on me.

Some random girl asked me " Truth or Dare?"

" Umm.. I'll do dare." I say a little unsure. Everyone was doing dare, I didn't want to be lame doing truth.

I feel truth would get me in more trouble then dare anyways.

The girl smiled " Kiss anyone in this room."

Well..maybe I should've done truth.

I look at all the eager boys, I met eyes with Cato.

He had his tongue poking his cheek, staring at me. Saige glanced at him before glaring at me.

He probably thinks I'm going to kiss Vad. I mean if he wasn't here I would. I know Vad, I'm comfortable being by him and if we did, he knows it's just a dare.

But I know that would prove Cato's point. And I don't want to do that to him.

Random guy it is. Luckily I had a lot of liquid courage.

There was a boy, he didn't look as hungry as the others, he was just staring. I got up walking slowly up to him.

He looked at me like a deer in the headlights when I was standing infront of him. " Are you ok?" I asked slightly laughing.

" Uh..yea." He says nervously.

I smirked leaning down kissing him lightly. All the guys hoot and holler about how lucky he was hyping him up.

I can't help but laugh a little bit. He's a really good kisser, and it feels good kissing somebody. I lean a little more eventually sitting on his lap.

He hands go around my waist slowly going lower, I slowly rock back and forth making him pause. Everyone was loving it, laughing, yelling, joking all of it.

" Ok, that's enough." Vad comes over grabbing me off, wrapping his arm around my waist.

The guy looked like he was in a daze, everyone was giving him so much crap.

" Your so gonna get killed." Vad whispered to me.

I lean on his chest closing my eyes, " sooo..sorry." Yep. Serverly feeling the alcohol.

" Not from me." He says looking down at me.

I furrow my brows before glancing at the now red faced blonde across the room from me. He gave me a dirty look before looking away.

I guess I was screwed from the start.

Saige was still hanging on him cooing in his ear, he looks at her before pushing her off of him. He walked off before coming back with a bottle of whiskey.

" Kaylayaaa.." another drunk said. " Truthhhh or dareeee.."

" Truth." I say picking at some of the dead skin around my nails.

I don't want to be in more apparent trouble then I'm already in.

" Have you ever loved somebody?" They ask.

I pause. It seems the while room went silent, I don't know if it really was or not. I felt my heartbeat in my ears.

" Yes, once before." I say so fast I almost stumble on my own words.

I feel Vad's grip tighten around me, slightly pulling me back into him.

" Kaylaya truth or Dare?"

What is everyone's fascination with me?

It look up to see Saige on the edge of her seat. Great.

" Truth again." I say plainly.

She smirked, " Tell everyone who and why you stopped loving them?" She says so evilly.

Cato looks at her then at me.

" Actually I want dare." I spit leaning forward.

" Fine, I DARE you to tell us who you used to love and why you don't love them anymore."

" How about you leave?" Vad spits.

Saige smiles, " This isn't your house."

She looks from Vad to me, " Go on."

I smile, " I'm done playing this game."

I get up, " Wanna go upstairs?" I ask Vad.

" Yea, this is stupid." He gets up, Saige laughs "What? Your leaving because you don't want to admit that your still obsessed with Cato?"

I stop turning to look at her, this was my last nerve. "You must be real insecure to think that." I taunt.

Cato sits back watching it, his jaw was clenched but I'm not quite sure who it's clenched at.

She stands up taking at step toward me. Vad tries to walk me away but I push his hand away. " No, let her talk." I say to him. " Kay." He warns but I don't listen to him.

She scoffs crossing her arms, " I'm not insecure, that's a joke... Your the needy one that had to crawl back to him because your like..mentally sick. He didn't want anything to happen to you because of his parents."

How does she know? And that's not what happened..at all.

I scoff, Is that why? He's been like this just because of his parents?

" I'm plenty able to take care of myself,  Hadley was the one that made me come back here. I didn't want to, he made me."

" His parents made him!" She sneers.

" Yea, that's what he told you. Doesn't mean it's true." I say innocently making her fume with anger.

She took another step towards me, " Take another step and I'll beat your ass." I warn.

She debates, but she stays smiling confidently." He wouldn't lie. He said your just a sick bitch that without any supervision you'd probably kill yourself. Your just another chore he needs to take care of!" She yells.

Ouch.

Just a chore. He thinks I'd actually do that to myself.

I might not be completely stable, but not that bad.

Again his true intention came out, anything to impress his parents right?

I look at Cato, who looked like he was actually going to kill.

Cato gets up, "You need to leave."

Saige looks at me with a evil smirk, " Yea, get-"

Cato turns grabbing her neck, " No.. you need to leave. If I see your face again I swear I'll kill you, do you hear me. NO ONE talks to her like that." He says squeezing so hard it looks like her eyes were about to pop out of her head.

He threw her to the ground, some other guys helps her up before they leave.

" Get everyone out of here." He says looking at Archer. Archer looks a Vad and Nelly, they jump right up shooing everyone out as fast as they could.
