12. Is this to be trusted?

Damon walked to her and took her face in his hands. He looked her in the eyes.

"What is the last thing you remember?" he asked and Ava shook her head.

"Uhm, I don't know. Everything is just messed up. I remember but, I-"

"You what?" Damon pushed Ava to remember.

"I think I have new memories," Ava said and Elena took a step back. The Bennet witch ran to them from the house.

"Jeremy! Are you alright?" she asked and ran to him. Ava was dizzy. She took a grip of Damon's jacket and felt her knees letting go. Damon kept her standing but she felt weak.

"I need blood," she whispered. Damon nodded and watched as Ava fainted again.

"We need to get her home," he said and lifted her in his arms.

Damon and Stefan got Ava in Damon's bed and Damon took the dress off of her with Ava trying to help. Every part of her body was aching. She whined and she was served, Damon and Stefan got her blood and kept her company. She had been in bed for a day.

"Good morning, sunshine," Damon wished to her with a blood bag. "Are you okay?"

"I'm getting better. This whole thing feels like the transition times ten," she said and got up from the bed. She grabbed the blood bag and started to drink it. Damon grinned.

"At least your appetite is back," he said and Ava laughed. But then she started to cough and excruciating pain grew in her upper jaw. She yelled and she had her hand covering up her mouth when she vomited the blood. Her eyes turned to red and her fangs grew. Damon got down to her.

"Are you alright? What happened?" he asked when he helped her to rise from the floor.

"I'm fine?" she said and looked at Damon but then got away from him. She she touched her teeth, they were completely normal again.

"I'm really hungry," she said and chuckled. Damon grabbed her by the hand and took her downstairs. She saw Stefan and Elena on the way. Ava had on a white small dress and sandals. They got in to the cellar and Damon handed one blood bag to her. She drank it quickly and asked for more. Alone she drank 4 blood bags.

"We need to find out what happened to you," Damon said and Ava nodded.

"I need the Bennet witch," Ava stated and she looked determined.

"Bonnie?"

"Bonnie."

Ava was sitting opposite to Bonnie. They held hands and their eyes were closed. Stefan, Damon and Jeremy were watching them from a close distant. Suddenly the fireplace light up. Bonnie opened her eyes and they were in shock.

"I have no idea what she is," Bonnie said and released Ava's hands of her grip. Jeremy sat next to Bonnie and kissed her on her cheek. She smiled to him.

"I saw a vision, when I touched Jeremy," Ava said. "There is a cure..."

"A what?" Stefan asked shocked.

"A cure," she repeated to him.

"For vampirism?"

"Yes, but I don't know how will we get it or where will it be," she revealed and Damon snorted.

"I can show you, if you don't believe me," she said and Damon walked to her.

"Fine, I don't believe you. Show me," he said. Ava took his hands and pulled him in a kiss. It wasn't really necessary but she did it for fun. She left the kiss slowly.

"I don't lie," she said and walked away from Damon,"Klaus nows something and I'm going to find out what."

Ava picked up her phone and selected Klaus' number. She immediately regret her decision when she heard his voice.

"Hello love," the voice said and it made Ava smile nervously.

"Hey it's Ava. What do you know about the five and the cure?" she asked. Klaus didn't say anything for a long minute.

"Better question is what do you and you friends know about it?"

"Why don't you come here and find out," Ava stated with confidence.

"I have a better idea. Why don't you come here?" he asked and Ava could feel him smirking.

"Fine, I will," she said and closed the phone. She walked to the door only to be stopped by Damon.

"You're not going alone," he said and Stefan stepped out too.

"We're coming with you."

Ava rolled her eyes but let them come with her. She took her leather jacket and left the house.

They got in to Ava's car and she was driving. "There is no way I'm letting one of you drive." She had said to them. Damon had snorted. Her cream colored convertible was her diamond. She adored it. It had white benches and black roof which came out when she pressed the button next to the drivers seat.

"Why am I the one sitting in the back?" Stefan whined and leaned forward.

"Because I called shotgun," Damon said and smirked to Stefan. Ava chuckled and pressed gas. The car accelerated and they were quickly in Klaus' house.

"Be nice," Ava said when they knocked on the door. Damon raised his eyebrows to her and Ava punched him on the arm. Rebekah opened the door and they got in. There were five places set to them.

"Hello to you too," Klaus said when Ava walked to the table and sat down, Damon next to him and Stefan opposite to him. Klaus sat next to her and Rebekah between Damon and Stefan. A girl walked to them and waited a meal. They had wine in their glasses and Ava drank a little from hers. Rebekah glanced at her with a despising look.

"What?" She snapped at Rebekah who turned her look to Klaus.

"Why are they here again Niklaus?" Rebekah asked and it made Klaus chuckle.

"I believe they are here for the cure?" he said with a smirk.

"How do you know about it?" Rebekah asked.

"Came to me in a dream. I was naked. You would have loved it." Damon said and looked at Rebekah who blushed a bit.

"It came to me in a vision," Ava said and Klaus chuckled.

"I don't know what I am, Klaus," she said with a broken voice. Klaus frowned his eyebrows and glared at Stefan and Damon.

"I kind of went through the transition yesterday, again," she said and looked Damon who was leaning on his hand. Klaus chuckled.

"What do you mean you went through the transition? You have been a vampire for over 200 years," he said and his face turned serious. He stood up and looked at Ava. Ava shook her head.

"I swear I don't know," she started to get anxiety. "Don't you think this is stressful enough without you Klaus?"

"We are here to talk about the cure," she said and Klaus sat down. 'Fine' he mumbled and he started to share the story of Rebekah and her boyfriend Alexander who was also one of the five and he had a tattoo. And the tattoo would leave them to the cure. Klaus killed all of them because they tried to dagger them but it didn't work for Klaus because he is a hybrid.

"There's a cure and you need the hunters mark to find it, we already knew that," Damon said.

"We want new information," Stefan said after Damon.

"What if I say I don't have anything," Klaus said and stared at Ava.

"Of course you have something, you are Klaus Mikaelson," she almost shouted. "You know everything."

Klaus blinked his eyes and turned his head. "I'm afraid I have just as much information as you."

"Great then what the hell are we doing here?" Damon asked from Ava and she shrugged.

"I guess I overestimated Klaus," she said. She stared Klaus with a cold stare. He looked her in the eyes she gritted her teeth. Stefan snorted and stood up.

"I'm leaving, Damon, Ava?" he said and Damon and Ava both raised from their chairs and walked away from Klaus and Rebekah. Klaus and Rebekah glared each other and Klaus threw a fork towards Ava. In a micro second she turned and grabbed the fork.

"What the hell?" she said dropped the fork off of her hand.

"Attack me," Klaus said.

"What?"

"Attack me!" Klaus shouted. Ava, Damon and Stefan were all confused. They glared at each other and Ava attacked him. She pushed him and he tried to hit her, he missed. Ava was a bit weaker but not much.

"She is as strong as we are," Klaus said with his eyes wide open. Rebekah frowned her eyebrows.

"That is impossible."
