Chapter 28:

(RAIN'S POV)

I raised an eyebrow at Mao, she just shrugged and grinned up at Mizuki. Though I'm not surprised that she attacked Mizuki at all. I mean come on, she's a Mao. I wonder if all Mao's are this way o.o

Future mission in life, see all Mao's and see if they all act like our Mao. That would be a fun mission, though I don't think everyone else is as hyped as Mao, expect Tobi. Tobi is like the guy version of Mao, it's extremely creepy and crazy.

Mao started circling Mizuki with a hand on her chin.

"Hmmm.. Your chakra is amazing! It's almost like ours. Rain, you're gonna be training him right?" Mao asked while stopping beside me. I nodded.

"For six months I have to train him. He already knows Musical Medical Ninjutsu, so that's good. We have a start, I haven't seen his skills for ninjutsu, taijutsu, or genjutsu. We will be training after we see Konan." I explained. Speaking of Konan, we gotta go soon.

"Mao, can you please give us our forehead protectors? We need to hurry, Konan is expecting us." I asked. Mao nodded and disappeared into her room. Her room was pretty nice actually, it was plain like mine but the sunlight streaming in made it look pretty peaceful.

Senju cleared his throat, I looked up at him and he nodded. "Mao seems....interesting." He said quietly. I nodded, Mao is interesting.

I think that's why everyone loves her so much, even if you're the baddest bitch on earth, you'll probably fall in love with Mao (not romantically) if you got to spend a week with her. She's just like that.

Mao popped out of her room with two forehead protectors already crossed out. "I just made them so be careful, you need to give them a couple minutes before they completely harden." Mao explained as she beamed, handing Senju and I our protectors.

It looked just like our original one though it was semi see through considering that the crystals didn't completely harden.

Our forehead protectors are made with special crystals that can take the form and shape of anything it's creator wants it to. Since Mao is the creator she can basically create anything with her crystals, it's one of the perks of being at the final stage of a shoton.

"Thank you."

Mao just grinned at me, she didn't have her mask on. Mao and Sora agreed that they were only going to wear their masks when they go on missions or whenever they are out of the house. I'm honestly just to lazy to put my mask on and off.

Since I don't go sleep, what's the point of taking it off?

"Do you know where Konan's office is?" Mao asked. I shook my head. Mao walked over to Sora's door and knocked on it two times. "She's probably with Sasori and Deidara. She's on their team, I'm with Hidan and Kakuzu." She informed me.

Oh wow. I pray for those two.

Mao is probably gonna talk their ears off. Hidan is one of the most self-centered disrespectful bastard I've ever knew. Though, he does remind me of a sardine for some odd reason. Like you would expect Kisame to remind me of a sardine considering he's an actual fish, but nooo.

We waited a couple of minutes before Sora finally answered the door. Sasori and Deidara was there sitting by the table she had. Her room was similar to mine expect she had a medium size table in the middle of her room, which Sasori and Deidara sat by.

"Mao! Rain! Mizuki! Hey!" Sora said while smiling sweetly at us. She hugged Mao as Mao giggled and waved at Deidara, then at Sasori. Sasori nodded as Deidara smirked and waved back.

"Look who's joining the party, finally decided that we're cooler than everyone else, hn?" Deidara boosted. I stared at him, erasing all emotions from my eyes as he stared back. His eyes stared to water slightly before blinking. He turned his gaze towards the ground as he silently muttered curses under his breath.

"If looks could kill, you would've died the moment you looked at Rain." Sasori said. I smirked slightly, it felt a little weird as my mask made it a little harder to smirk than I was used to.

Sora just rolled her eyes as she pulled me into a hug. She beamed down at me as I pushed away, I gave her a closed eye smile and walked into the room. I looked back to see Sora patting Senju's shoulder and him sending her a small smile.

"We need to see Konan. Do you think you can bring us to her office?" I asked. Sora nodded. I looked at her and Mao. They both had their Akatsuki cloak, they both looked pretty badass.

She nodded at her new teammates as she hooked her arm around mine and the other around Senju's. "Hey Mao, can you stay here and keep Deidara and Sasori company. I'll be back soon!" Sora called out behind her as she pulled Senju and I away.

She hummed happily as she directed us to Konan's office. I peered up at Sora, she seemed pretty happy and satisfied. Though just because she may seem like that on the outside, that doesn't mean she feels like that on the inside.

She probably misses Kosuke like hell. Just knowing that I took away one of the things that mattered to Kosuke the most kills me. Knowing that Sora is being kept away with S-ranked criminals and not being able to see the people she cares about, kills me. The same goes with Mao.

I'm being selfish, keeping them locked here with me. Though I knew that if I didn't take them then, then they would've came after me with everyone else and that'll blow our cover. If Leader-sama finds out that I have all tailed beast, he might attempt to extract them resulting in him having all tailed beast which isn't the greatest idea in the whole world.

Sora finally came to a stop as she knocked on the door in front of us. "Come in." Konan called out. Sora opened the door and ushered us in before waving quickly and disappearing. She's probably trying to hurry back so that she can make sure Deidara didn't blow Mao to pieces.

I sighed slightly before stepping closer to where Konan was sitting. Her office was pretty plain, I've come to terms that almost every room in this house is plain expect the kitchen.

"I see you got my note." Konan said. I turn towards her and nodded.

"Tobi showed me to my room. I've settled in quite quickly." I replied. I just wanted to get to training, I want to explore with Ookami but that has to wait until I'm done with Senju and all that.

"That is good. Since you will be training Mizuki, Mizuki's well being will rest in your hands. Also, when not training with Mizuki, he will be doing errands for the well being of all of us. You will be paired up with Itachi and Kisame. That is all. You may go." Konan said as she resumed shuffling through her papers again.

Senju and I bowed before walking out, I closed the door gently before letting out the breath I've been holding.

"For sleep you may sleep in my room. I do not sleep so I will not be needing the bed. You may store your belongings there also. Basically the room is for us to share. Are you ready to train?" I asked. I didn't know where else Senju would be able to stay and I do not feel like going through the trouble for finding that place.

Naruto used to always use my room anyway, so I've become used to it.

Naruto... I miss that kid. I wonder how his training is coming along, a small smile played on my lips. With sheer determination he has become a great warrior. Never giving up and never failing to surprise everyone. He didn't let having Kurama sealed inside of him weigh him down, he kept pushing through it all.

I won't fail Senju. I peered at him from the corner of my eye. He seemed lost in thought. When we first met he reminded me a lot of Naruto. Being so careless with his life, yet he was quite brave....though extremely stupid. As I started to engage in conversation with him, he started to remind me of Kosuke and Neji. Both geniuses.

I feel like I see parts of everyone I've cared about in him.

"Let's go." I started walking through the hallways, towards the front. I was pretty hungry but almost everyone was in the kitchen, I rather not be in Mao's way when she's hungry. That's death itself.

"MOVE OUT THE WAY GIRLS, I'M HUNGRY!" I head Mao shout. Hidan started to curse while Tobi was screaming at him, attempting to explain why it isn't good to curse.

And this...Is the most feared organization in the world. Oh lord.

"To think this is the most feared organization in the world." Senju said, speaking my thoughts out loud. I nodded and turned from the kitchen. We will just eat after everyone has settled down. Though if Senju is famished then we should get food, so he can be able to train better.

"Are you hungry?"

"No currently, though I probably will be after training." Senju replied turning away from the kitchen also. I nodded and started towards the door again. I heard a distance howl, Ookami.

"Ookami, are you okay?"

"I'm perfectly fine, though I think I found an enemy. The bush near me is shaking violently, I feel the presence of an unknown enemy, hold on. I think hes about to show himself. AHHH.. oh wait. Nevermind. It was just a cat...." Ookami said, relief lacing his words heavily.

I stiffled a laugh, Ookami was frighten by a cat. Like come on, imagine big old scary Ookami, then him howling like a little pup because of a kitten. It's hilarious.

"Oh shut up, Rai." Ookami grumbled before shutting the mind link connection off. I shook my head, he's an odd one. Honestly.

I walked outside, Senju trailing behind me. It was beautiful out, there was a gentle breeze and it wasn't to hot.

"We will go out to the pond and train." I said before grabbing his wrist and transporting him to the pond. Surprisingly he staggered slightly but mange to regain his balance. That's good to know, he has control over his chakra better than Sora or Mao.

"You have good chakra control."

"Thank you."

I nodded and walked out till I was in the middle of the pond. Senju walked up beside me. I wonder where I should start first... Hmm... Well first I should know his chakra nature and stuff.

"What's your chakra nature?" I asked. Sora has all of the chakra nature, which isn't really surprising what so ever. Mao only found three of her nature though I believe she has all also. I have three, I don't think I have all... But anyways yeah.

I have Water, Fire, and Lightening. Mao has Water, Earth, and Lightening. (No clue why I capitalize them but yeah ;-;)

"I have all of them."

"That's all for tonight. Let's go back and eat, then you should rest. We'll start again early in the morning, and train throughout the day." I informed Senju. Senju nodded as he unscrewed the cap off of his water bottle.

It was starting to get dark out, we've been training for awhile. So far I know he has amazing chakra control, knows jutsus for each and every chakra natures he has, good in ninjutsu and genjutsu, he's alright in taijutsu. He can be better though. But other than that, it's amazing how great his skills are.

"How did you learn how to fight like that?" Senju asked snapping me out of my thoughts. I shrugged.

"I started training ever since I could walk. Since I don't sleep, I train most of the time." I explained. Senju nodded understandingly.

"Same here, I had to fit in the sound village some how. Since I was little I was always able to healed the injured, my parents had little knowledge of Musical Medical-ninjutsu but they still knew about it. I was able to learn it and master it." Senju explained to me.

It was funny how alike our childhood is. Both were given up to another clan, yet we trained our hardest and tried to do our best with things. And now we're both here. Funny isn't it?

"How did you end up in the Sound village?"

"My real parents were slaughtered, they didn't want to be known as the last standing members of the Senju clan...so they pretended to be farmers. Someone eventually found out and killed them, someone who wanted the Senju clan to be extincted. Though my parents manage to hide me and I was found by shinobis of the Sound village. Husband and his wife, they took me in and raised me. I recently found out my past when Hidan killed them." He said bitterly, hate was burning in his eyes.

"I found out recently about my past also. Being an Uchiha and all." I added. Senju nodded and sighed. I understand his pain, it's quite messed up when your whole life has been a lie. Though it's best not to dwell on the past, move on and create your future.

I stood up and brushed myself off, I walked over to where I threw my cloak earlier when I was battling Senju. I grabbed it and tied it around my waist, it was too hot to be wearing a cloak right now.

Senju followed in suit and picked up our water bottles, he walked over to me and grabbed my shoulder. I quickly did hand signs and we appeared right at the front door of the base. I'm so hungry! I can probably eat as much as Mao can right now.

He pushed the door opened and held it for me, I mumbled a thank you and walked towards the kitchen. Surprisingly no one was in there, so far whenever I've been into the kitchen someone has been in there. Though I have only been into the kitchen like.. twice.

I walked up and opened a random cabinet. Ramen was on the lowest shelf with a note on it.

In time shorty. -Kisame.

I small smile played on my lips, so the little tuna fish did love me. Awww, knew he had this undying love for me that reminded him to put the ramen on the lowest shelf because I'm short as fuck. Awwww.

I took out two and warmed up some water. Senju went upstairs to shower, speaking of shower...Where the hell is the bathroom?

"Tobi! Come here boy!" I muttered loudly, I heard thundering footsteps before Tobi appeared...I choked down a laugh, Tobi is almost exactly like a pet, though he can fight and talk. It's hilarious, it's sad that I'm enjoying this so much.

"RAIN-CHAN CALLED TOBI?! TOBI GOOD BOY!" Tobi squealed like a schoolgirl before running up to me and twirling me around. Okay.....

"Can you please tell Mao and Sora that we're home? Also where's the bathroom?" I asked. Tobi stopped twirling me before putting me down gently and putting a hand on his chin.

"Hmmm.. Tobi already told Sora-chan and Mao-chan that Rain-chan and Mizuki-kun are home safe! Plus they saw Mizuki-kun go take a bath! Tobi show Rain-chan where the bathroom is, only if Rain-chan tells Tobi how it feels to poo!" Tobi squealed again and started talking about poop.

I sighed inwardly, Tobi and his obsession with poop.

"It feels like your insides are slowly coming out of your body." I said, my voice becoming monotone. But seriously, like how the hell am I suppose to explain pooping, you really can't explain it. YOU GOTTA FEEL IT.

Anyways, moving on. Tobi stopped squealing and cocked his head to the side.

"Like..Tobi's inside are coming out of Tobi's body?" Tobi asked. I gave him the darkest look as I possibility can muster and nodded. Tobi squealed before jumping into my arms, I was now holding him bridal style, his arms were wrapped around my neck and he was shaking.

"TOBI DON'T WANT TO POO! TOBI LIKE HIS INSIDES IN TOBI'S BODY!" Tobi yelled, I sighed inwardly before dropping him "accidentally" on the ground. At least he landed on his feet instead of his butt.

"Then keep your inside, inside your body." I said, the kettle started whistling telling me that my water is boiled. I walked over and turned the stove off before grabbing a cloth and pouring the water into the ramen bowls.

"Tobi will keep his insides in Tobi's body. No pooing for Tobi! Rain-chan can't poo too! Rain-chan needs to keep her insides inside her body!" Tobi started freaking out slightly before he ran out of the room and started screaming not to poo to everyone.

Well then. With living with Mao my whole life, I'm used to this.

Senju walked into the kitchen without a shirt and came beside me. "Is that for me?" He asked as he pointed at the ramen bowl. I nodded and pushed it towards him, he was in pretty good shape. You can see the outline of his abs.

"Thanks." He said as he grabbed the bowl and grabbed my arm. I raised an eyebrow at him before he smirked.

"We're going to eat on the balcony." He explained. My eyes lit up, I forgot all about the balcony! Senju let out a little chuckle.

"You and your balconies." He muttered while pulling me through the door, I grabbed my ramen and followed him upstairs. Awww Senju remembered that I love balconies..Okay it's not the balconies that I'm in love with, it's being able to be outside and look at the stars without me having to go downstairs and all that crap.

"It's not the balconies, it's being able to see the stars and be near my room at the same time. Pretty convenient." I said while shrugging, Senju nodded and pulled me into the room. We both walked out to the balcony and sat on the ground. The stars were shining brightly tonight, it was beautiful.

"So, you're obsessed with stars or something?"

I shrugged again. "Again, since I don't sleep and since I don't enjoy training all the time. I need to find something else to do with my life. I went to a library in the sand once and found a book on astronomy. With all the information in that book I absolutely loved the chapter about the stars and moon. So after that, I loved the stars and moon ever since. I was about 7 at the time." I explained.

Senju smirked at me as I raised an eyebrow, what's with the smirk o.o

"So you weren't emotionless all the time. Let me guess, after what happened with the sand you're starting to feel guilty for dragging your not blood related sisters into this freaky organization and dragging them from the people who love them that you started to act like you have no heart." He ranted on and I wanted to smack him. Hard.

"You're totally making everything better."

He stopped ranted and smiled sheepishly. "Sorry. I just wish I knew you before you were like this." He said while shrugging. I just nodded.

"It doesn't matter now. It is what it is. And by the way, when were you going to tell me we were destined to be blood siblings." I asked. Senju tensed up before turning towards me with a shock expression.

"How did you know?"

"I told you I've studied a little about your clan, which included how some members of the Senju clans were able to have blood sisters or brothers. It's where your chakra matches and they somehow are able to form together and make the duo stronger. The bondage between the duo are like the bond between siblings. They fight for each other and swears an oath that bonds them together, the bond only dies when one of the duo dies. That's all I read about that. But yes, I've sense your chakra." I explained.

Ever since Mao pointed out that his chakra was like ours, I kinda started focusing on his chakra more. Also, when we were training with each other, whenever he used his chakra, mine was drawn to his. 

"Yes, that is true. Though it is uncommon for a female to have a blood brother, it's actually never been heard of." Senju said. I shrugged. 

"How do you know I've been a female my whole life?" I asked. 

Senju looked at me again confused, then his face changed to shock. 

"You mean, you're a...?" I manage to keep a straight face as I nodded, I wanted so badly to burst out laughing...Which I did. I started laughing quietly. Senju groaned and punched my shoulder which made me laugh even more. 

"You little liar." He said while sticking his tongue out at me, I shook my head and smiled.

"Hey, you okay?"

"Yeah! I'm on my way back home." Ookami replied. 

I smiled slightly, he's been exploring for the whole entire day. I wonder what he saw. 

Senju started eating his ramen and finished it in a matter of seconds. Yes seconds, no lie ;-; After finishing he threw his ramen bowl in the trash, outside our door and poked my shoulder.

 "I'm going to bed, night." 

I nodded and turned my gaze to the sky, more stars has come up. 

"Goodnight." I replied before watching him retreat to the bed. 

I wonder how Itachi and Sushi is doing, they should be coming back in two days..I wonder what mission they were assigned to... I wonder what missions I would be doing.. So much wondering o.o

Senju's soft snores started filling the room. I smirked to myself, he's gonna have to get used to all this training. 

The door to our room busted open, Mao ran in looking around frantically. Her eyes finally found mine, panic and relief filled hers. 

"Rai, Leader-sama-kun called for you. Report to his office, now!" Mao yelled.
