Destabilized- P2

Peridot woke up in a dark, unfamiliar room without windows. She examined her hands and saw a dark green substance slowly trickling from her fingertips, causing an agonizing pain. She inhaled a sharp breath and tried to push it out of her mind.

Suddenly, a panel in the floor opened, and four figures rose up into the room, hidden by shadows.

"That's her, alright." Peridot could tell the voice belonged to the petite figure who had met her at the door. "That's the Crystal Gem who tried to infiltrate our Homeworld base."

The three other Gems step forward from the shadows. They all looked similar, aside from their color. One was yellow, the next, blue, and the final one a pale white.

"Is this true?" said the yellow one, picking up Peridot by her neck.

"N-no ma'am!" Peridot choked out. "I-I just wanted t-to come home!"

The grip loosened. "Well then... allow me to introduce all of us. I'm Yellow Diamond, these two behind me are Blue and White Diamond. The one who found you at the door was a Pearl, a Homeworld servant. There are many of them here." She points the strange pulsing rod from before directly at Peridot's neck. "This is a Gem destabilizer. Unfortunately, we'll be forced to use it on you until you become one of us. Can't take any risks since Pink defected..." She frowns. "... but don't worry. It won't hurt... too bad."

She presses it into her neck, making her retreat to her gem instantly.
