Chapter 3

CHAPTER 3

We drive up a long stony driveway and there it is. A 3 story mansion. I say mansion because it’s huge! They must all live together in one house. Anyways, the house is pure white with huge windows and balconys. It's gorgeous! I can’t believe I’m gonna be living here. Not sure for how long but I’m gonna make the best of this. We stop and Liam gets out first, then Niall, Zayn, Louis, then me and Harry. 

“So Lucy, what do you think of it so far?” Niall says to me.

“I’m speechless. It’s amazing. I have never seen something like it before.” 

“Well we still have so many surprises for you love.” Liam says excitedly with a huge smile on his face.

 Oh god I hate surprises. After everything that has happened. 

They must have noticed my expression change because Harry said “Don’t wory love, it’s good, you’ll love it.” and he came up and hugged me. I’m still scared though. 

 “Well should we go inside?” Louis says.

“Yes, I wanna see the rest of this mansion!” I say distracting myself from my thoughts.

 They slowly open the door and we all walk in. The lounge and kitchen are in the same room. They must be about the size of my house I used to live in, and I thought that was huge! White couches, huge 85 inch plasma tv. Surrounding the lounge walls is pictures of One Direction receiving awards. Wow. They really are a huge band.

Liam turns on the radio just quietly and guess what song comes on? BEST SONG EVER.

I sprint to turn it up and start singing. It echoes through the house. Sorry mansion. I need to get used to that.

“MAYBE IT”S THE WAY SHE WALKED! STRAIGHT INTO MY HEART AND STOLE IT” I scream out not exactly realising I am with the people that actually sing it.

 “Woops sorry, I kinda like this song.” I say with a cheeky grin.

 “SAID HER NAME WAS GEORGIA ROSE” Liam sings with a smile on his face.

“AND HER DADDY WAS A DENTIST” I sing with him with a smile on my face. This is the happiest I have been in months and nothing is gonna ruin it.

We sang all together and then it came to the dance at the end. We all sung to the lyrics.

"THE JOE!""THE FLICK""THE FISH!"I yell out all the dance moves and they dance with me. I swear to god I look like a lunatic but thats the last thing I care about.

 “Aww! I like that song!” I say sadly.

 “Lucy, you realise who you are with right? The people that can sing you One Direction songs 24/7?”

 “Oh yeah, I forgot.” I laugh.

 “Hey, Lucy, I would just like to say you have an incredible voice!” Niall says excitedly.

 “Umm, thanks?” I’m not used to people giving me compliments. This could seriously be the end of everything. All the abuse. I think I’m out of it. Finally.

 “Hey, One Direction?” I say twiddling my thumbs.

“Yes love?” They all say in unison. I need to get used to that seriously.

“Um, I hate asking things, but are you guys seriously not going to abuse me?” I say nervously.

They all look at each worriedly and start walking over to me and bend down to my level. They pause.

“Lucy. We need you to know we are never going to abuse you. Ever. We are saving you from all the abuse. We hate the idea that people would be horrible enough to do that to a poor innocent girl. We love you Lucy and we want to spend the rest of our life with you. We are forever going to keep you safe." Liam says taking charge.

"WE ARE ALSO GONNA SPOIL YOU LIKE NOTHING ELSE!" Louis yells excitedly.

I have never heard someone say those words to me before. Ever. “I love you guys so much. You guys make me so happy. As you could probably tell when Best Song Ever just came on.” We all laugh.

 “GROUP HUG!” Louis yells.

 That’s when I knew I was officially safe. Forever.

 “Hey Lucy, wanna see the rest of the house?” Louis says with a smile on his face.

 “YES YES YES!” I say excitedly.

 “TO THE KITCHEN!” Niall yells.

 “We walk to the kitchen. Glass top benches. Huge white fridge. Dishwasher, oven, it has everything! Niall opens a door and and disappears. 

We’d he go?” I say worriedly.

They walk me over and I walk in. A walk in pantry! With food! Oh god. They don’t know I can’t eat much. Uh oh. “Wow, this is huge!” I say with a fake smile on my face.

 “Well lets go see the rest of the house and we can come down and eat!” Liam says.

Mmm, I'm hungry. 

“Can we go show her her bedroom yet?” Niall says jumping around.

“I have my own bedroom?” I say confused.

“Yes, and we are showing you now.” Liam says with a grin.

 We walk up the hallway past doors that say Zayn’s Bedroom. Liam’s Bedroom. Niall’s Bedroom.  As we are walking there are framed pictures. More of them. One Direction performing at the London Olympics, concerts and teen choice awards. Then we stop. I see a door that says Lucy’s Bedroom. Harry’s and Louis’ must be down further.

“This is mine?” 

“Yes love, walk in.” They all say with a smile on their face.

 I slowly walk in. This is not a bedroom. This is like a house! I have a huge plasma tv. Queen bed with a bright coloured duvet. Grass green walls. Grey soft carpet. A computer? I have no idea how to use it. I guess I will have to be taught. That will make me sound stupid though. I walk through two doors. A bathroom? Off my bedroom? Are you serious? I’m in heaven! 

I turn round and see One Direction smiling at me. 

“Do you like it?” Niall says excitedly.

“You're seriously asking me that? I’m in heaven!” I scream jumping on my bed. They all laugh.

“Love, there is one more surprise for you.” Zayn walks over and opens another two doors to reveal...

Wait. A walk in wardrobe? With clothes and shoes and makeup? “COULD LIFE GET ANY BETTER?” I scream once again forgetting I am with my idols. 

“So I’m guessing you love it?” They say in unison.

“I’m in more than heaven now.” I say smiling.

They laugh. 

“Well love, this is all yours. No one elses.” Harry says. 

“Wow, you guys are amazing.”

“We know!” They say poking their tongues out. 

I run to them and hug them all. “Thank you. Thank for all this.”

“It’s okay. We are your family now.” They say smiling.

“Well love, why don’t you go get changed and freshen up, then come downstairs and get a little snack?” Harry says.

“Okay I will see you soon!” They all left and I had a nice warm shower. I got out wrapped a towel round me.  I went to my walk in wardrobe and picked out a pair of blue skinny jeans and a one direction hoodie. I don't care about putting makeup on, put my hair in a bun then walk downstairs.

 They all look at me. Why are they looking at me? What have I done?

 “Love, you look gorgeous!” They say in unison.

 I blush and say “Thank you” looking down at the ground.

 “TIME FOR SOME FOOD!” Niall yells. 

 They bring out fruit, biscuits and heaps of sandwiches.

 I grab a banana. 

 “BOYS WE NEED MORE BANANAS SHE LIKES BANANAS THAT MAKES TWO OF US!!” 

 “You like bananas as well?” I ask harry.

 “I LOVE THEM!!!” He says excitedly. 

 We all laugh and they all started eating. I finished my banana after 5 minutes and tried to convince myself to have a sandwich. 

They all finished what they were eating and I was still half way through my sandwich. 

I finally finish it. “I’m finsished boys.” 

“You did really well love, we are proud of you.” Liam says.

"Can I be excused?" I ask slowly.

"Sure love, let us know if you need anything." Liam says.

"I walk upstairs and run to my bathroom. I start puking up all my food and the boys run in. 

"Lucy are you okay?" Zayn asks worriedly. 

"Yeah, I think so. I just threw everything up." 

"Can we come in?" Harry asks.

"Umm yeah if you want."

They slowly open the door and walk in to see me hanging over the toilet bowl.

"Lucy, how much did you normally eat at the orphanage?" harry asks me.

"Well, a banana, sandwhich and fruit once a day." I say.

"Did you force yourself to eat all that food?" Liam asks.

"Yea. Only because I didn't want to feel bad for wasting it and wanted to please you guys." I say.

"Lucy, you don't need to force yourself to do anything if you feel you can't. You don't have to please us and food is never wasted in this house." Liam says.

"Okay, I'm sorry." 

"We will get you back on track with your eating one step at a time. We will get a doctor in to have a check up as you probably haven't had one of them in a while and everything will be okay. We love you Lucy." Louis says. 

"I will go make the appointment." Harry says.

I love these boys so much. They actually care.

Harry walks off and Niall asks me, "Are you feeling a little better?" "A little." I tell him. "Wanna go watch a movie?" Zayn asks. "Yeah that would be nice." I slowly stand up, start to walk and I feel dizzy. They must of noticed because Louis decided to pick me up and carry me into another room. We put a movie on and Harry walks back in., "Lucy has an appointment here tomorrow at 10am." "Okay." I nervous. I don't know what to expect.Harry sits down on the fold out couch with us all."Lucy, you also have an appointment with Simon Cowell next week because you can really sing." They tell me.

"Okay. Thank you." I'm excited. My life is turning round and I am happy.
