31 - Unexpected Visit

"Sakura my dear, you aren't focusing on our training at all. I'm quite hurt you have something else on your mind other than me" Suo held my foot against his shoulder as I lunged at him, his gaze staring into my soul as he showed me that sly smile of his while he pressed his cheek against my foot.

"S-sorry I just have a lot of things on my mind lately" I excused as I tried to shake off my foot from his grasp but he just held it tighter within his grasp. 'Umemiya's been buggin my mind'

"And that is?" One of his eyebrows raised up at me in anticipation.

"Why are you asking me- Plus why are you the one on Haru's place? I wanted to duel with him-"

In a matter of seconds, I was already on the ground, Suo staring at me from above as he tilted his head at me. 

"That hurts, after being so willing to train you after rushing off here with Umemiya-san's training session" 

I just furrowed my eyebrows as I stared at him, he offered his hand over to me, helping me up to my feet.

"You have to keep your eyes peeled Sakura-chan, someone might just bite you if you look away" He said as he kept that smile on his face, his eyes disappearing.

"The way you word it out sounds like someone is going to bite me" I just sighed out and shook my head gently.

I heard him chuckle, his hand going over to his mouth, "I'm just warning you, being so out of it makes you an easy prey" 

"I'm not that weak" I grumbled and crossed my arms at him, I feel rather offended by that.

"I believe you, I don't think you're weak" He stepped back, his arms moving to the front of his chest.

"Come, show me" He said as his eyes opened to stare at me, lips curling up to a smirk.

'Damn fox'

I let out a quiet "tch" before charging up at him, 'Sure knows how to rile me up'

My left leg flew over to him but he easily caught it with his hand, "I told you that thing won't work-" I used the same foot he was holding to kick the back side of his knee, his upper body falling backwards as I moved my body swiftly to push his chest further down. His body fell on the ground with a loud thud. 

"-..on me" He let out a laugh as my foot pressed up against his chest, I can feel the way his chests vibrates against my shoe. "You got me there, I'm impressed" He said as he looked up at me from his position, his hair is messy, his white shirt now has some dirt in it.

"Of course I told you-" I offered my hand towards him so I could help him up but he just pulled me down on the ground with him. My feet stumbled, I almost crushed him if my hands didn't steady themselves on the ground next to his head. 'This little-'

He's smirking at me-

"Well I got you there didn't I?" He said that so proudly, heat rushed up to my cheeks as I narrowed my eyes at him. 

"I could easily choke you right now" I replied as I looked over at his eyes then down to his neck. 

"Hmm..sure give it a whirl, will that make you focus?" Suo said as my eyes darted back to his face, his smirk grew even more.

"Are you seriously enjoying this right now?" I asked as I furrowed my brows at him, 'What a weird guy'

"It's not every day that someone gets me down on the ground" He laughed out, his breath hitting my face. I just realized how close he was, I immediately got up and dusted off my clothes.

Seconds later, he also got up on his feet, walking over to me as he turned around. His back now facing me, 'What does he want now?'

"Can you help me dust off my clothes Sakura-chan?" I heard him say which made me look at his back, it did have some dirt in it.

I hesitated for a moment before setting my hand on his back, patting the dust away as much as I can. "It's hard isn't it?" I heard him say.

"What?" My eyebrows furrowed at him but of course he can't see it.

"My back"

"Oh- Yeah, do you workout?" I answered as I finished off patting his back, he turned over to face me, his normal gentle smile back on his face.

"Of course, I gotta stay fit" He answered as his eyes disappeared with his smile.

"You don't look like the type to do that" I admit as we walked over to Nirei's drink station, getting a drink for ourselves.

"What? Really? I have to workout extra hard then so it'll be more obvious next time" He said as he sipped the cup he took from the table.

"Workout? Suo-san's already so fit!" Nirei suddenly butted in which startled me a bit-

"What a good disciple you are Nirei, flattering your master~" Suo said as he smiled over at Nirei.

I just shook my head as I sipped my drink, turning my head to watch Haru just to see him walking towards us.

"Haru" I called out as I placed the cup down on the table as he stopped in front of me.

"I have to deal with something later after this, you can go home without me" He said as he grabbed a drink and chugged it in one go. 'Deal with something? What is it?' I wondered as I stared at him for a few seconds  before replying.

"What is it?" I asked as I tilted my head at him.

"I-..I'll tell you later" He answered as he looked off to the side, I glanced over at Suo before returning my gaze over at Haruka. 'Must be something important then'

I caught up with Haru as he began walking out of the gym, wondering what's he up to after this.

"Where are you off to?" I asked as I walked beside him, glancing over at his expression. He looks like he's thinking about a lot of things.

"Are you coming with me?" He questioned back, his eyes glanced over me as well.

"I'll always come with you but you have to tell me where it is first" I said as I moved my gaze over in front of us as we walked.

"You'll see" 'What? I don't like surprises'

"That's unfair Haru-"

"Did something happen with Umemiya? Thought you were supposed to be with him" He said changing the subject. Mentioning Umemiya just makes me think about the whole situation all over again!

I could feel my face heat up as I let out a long sigh, "I don't wanna train with him anymore" I answered as I continued to stare up in front of us.

"Why?" 

"I..don't..know" I admit, my head lowering as I stared at our feet.

"You know you can tell me anything Hima"  'But I don't know what to tell you'

"I know, I just don't know the answer myself"

"Alright then, we can't force that"

It seems like we were just walking and walking until our feet paused in a familiar tunnel, that familiar lion drawing staring down at us.

"Why are we here?" I broke out the silence as my eyes darted over to Haru who was beside me.

"I'm going to ask them for help"

"You will?" 

I heard him hum out an answer as he entered over to the barrier of the other team's territory, 'No hesitation at all huh? Hm we're friends with them now. Should be fine'

I caught up with him and followed after him as we walked further down the area as we reached the Lion's Den, we immediately saw Togame's figure in the distance.

He's smiling, handing drinks to his members. He hasn't noticed us yet but their leader sure has-

"You two are the ones who fought Kame-chan~! So what is it? Why are you here? Where's Ume-chan? He's not with you? How is he? How about Ragi-chan?" He was jumping around us as he spoke- I couldn't keep up with him- 'Ragi-chan???Kame-chan??Ume-chan???'

"Choji, They can't keep up with your questions. Why don't you finish up handing over the drinks to the others? I'll talk with them" Togame suddenly popped up, smiling over at Tomiyama as he pointed over at their members who were staring at us.

I just looked at him, they all look calmer now. That's good.

"Let's go talk somewhere quieter, sound good kitties?" He said as his eyes then lands on us.

We both nodded our heads as we followed him, going to their rooftop. No other person in sight, it is indeed a quiet place.

"I never thought I'll see you two come here on your own" He said breaking the silence, 'Never thought it'll happen too'

"Must be important that you didn't just tell me over the phone" Togame continued as he walked over to the railings, leaning over it.

"Over the phone? I don't have your number" Haruka answered as he walked closer to Togame, standing beside him. 'Well about that-'

"Hm really? Your twin has it though" I could tell he's grinning right now. 

"What? I didn't know" Haru said as he looked over at me as I walked closer to them. "You never asked me dumbhead, you didn't tell me in advance" I sighed out as I looked elsewhere.

"When did you get his number?" Haru asked which made me look over at him, "When he came over for dinner" I simply replied.

"What?! That's some time ago, I never knew!" He said while his eyes blinked up at me repeatedly.

"Hehe~" Togame chuckled out and handed us some drinks which we took, it's the thing he always drinks. 

Haru just shook his head as he takes the bottle in his hands before talking again.

"Okay enough of that..What I'm about to say is important so I hope..

You'll cooperate"

Chapter 31 folks! Also, I didn't realize we already reached 40k reads..that was hella fast guys...At the time I wrote this, it hasn't been 40k yet but now at the time I'll upload this, it already passed it! Everything's so unreal and I'm really grateful you guys read this thing even though I really don't see the reason why tbh-
