Chapter 16 (Meeting)

"Good morning Mom and Dad. I missed you".

Lisa hugged her parents. She wakes up early today when she finds out that her parents will be home.

"I miss you too, my baby".Her dad kissed her on the forehead

"How are you feeling? Mr.Choi message me that you're no longer visiting him, are you taking your meds? ".Her mom worriedly asks.

"I'm good, Mom. I'm having some headaches this past few weeks again every morning but I'm fine".Lisa smiled.

"You need to visit, Mr. Choi again. We will be accompanying you tomorrow. That's an order".His Dad stated

"Arasoo you leave me no choice.btw, can I invite Jennie tomorrow for dinner after the checkup? ".Lisa asked.

"Good idea, I'll cook for our dinner".Her mom presented.

"I heard that you will be cooking, Tita".Jisoo entered the house

"Jisoo, my eldest".Her mom hugged her. "How are you?".

"I'm good. Hi, Tito".She greeted Lisa's dad and gave him also a hug.

"Is Lisa giving you a headache?" her Dad asks Jisoo

"Aniya, she's giving me a headache ".Lisa answered

And they laugh. They have breakfast together...

--They went to Mr. Choi to check Lisa. Mr. Choi is their long-time family doctor...

Mr. Choi: Good Afternoon, Manoban's. Lisa! Finally, you visited me. Why are you ignoring me huh? I've been waiting for you to come to my clinic.

Lisa: Sorry, Mr. Choi. I'm just busy at school.

Lisa's Mom: I have been telling her to come here for her regular check-up. She just said yes but she's not following.

Lisa: Not here, mom. Don't scold me here. *she frowned like a kid*

Lisa's Dad: That's why we accompanied her to make sure.

Mr. Choi: Oh Lisa! I told you to take care of your health always. Let's get inside I'll run some test to you. Are you drinking your meds?

Lisa : *follows the doctor and went inside* Yes. I'm taking it regularly. *Lisa hates clinic or hospital so much that's why she stopped visiting her doctor. She gets sicker every time she's in that kind of place *

The doctor runs several tests for her. He can't believe in the results that's why he repeated it. He's hoping that it's just a mistake. After an hour they're done.

Mr. Choi: We're good. Please go back here after a week. I will text you when the final results are out. *smiled*

Lisa's Dad: Thanks Doc.  Lisa, take note of the doctor's prescription, Arasoo?

The three went to the grocery together. They buy some raw foods to be cooked by her mom for dinner.

6 PM in Manoban's Residence

Jennie arrived she's with Jisoo. Lisa's parents invited Jisoo too since she's also like a child to them and part of the family.

Jisoo: Good evening, Tito. I'm with Jennie *she greeted Lisa's Dad*

Lisa's Dad: You're Jennie. Finally, nice meeting you. Lisa talks about you a lot. You're really pretty.

Jennie: Kamsamnida, Sir. Nice meeting you too.

Lisa's Dad: No, don't call me Sir just call me Dad. 🙂 don't be awkward, arasooooo?

Jisoo: I'm jealous, I used to call you Tito for a long time, but you let Jennie called you dad in an instant.

Lisa's Dad: Hahaha!  You can call me dad too.

*Lisa's mom appeared.

Lisa's mom: Jisoo and Jennie.

Jennie: Good evening, Tit...

Lisa's mom: Call me mom. Then she hugged the latter.

Lisa's dad: Jisoo might be jealous.

Jisoo: Yeah. I'm jealous. I thought I'm your eldest.

Lisa's mom: Hahaha!  Of course, you're my eldest. You can call me mom anytime you want to.

Jennie: BTW, where's Lisa?

Lisa's mom: She's upstairs taking some rest. We went to the hosp...

Lisa: I'm here. *she didn't let her mom finish her words, she doesn't want Jennie to find out it, she went to Jennie's direction and hugged the latter*

Lisa's mom: So everyone's here. Let's have dinner before the food gets cold.

They have their family dinner. Lisa's parents are very welcoming to Jennie. She never gets awkward in front of them. They shared some funny stories. They also find out that Jennie is Jisoo and Lisa's childhood friend...After dinner, they have some coffee and tea in the veranda and continue the unending conversation. It was a long night...

It's 9 PM when Jennie bid goodbye for them.

Jennie: Thanks for the delicious dinner mom and dad. It was really nice meeting and having a conversation with you. I hope to have it again next time.

Lisa's mom: It's our pleasure. You take care of each other.

Lisa: I'll walk Jennie to the garage, mom, and dad.

Jisoo: Me, I'll go upstairs.

Lisa: upstairs?

Jisoo: to your room. I'll sleep here. *she runs inside the house, Jennie I'll see you tomorrow*

Lisa's dad: Where going inside. Jennie, you take care huh.

Jennie: Thanks boo for tonight. You have very accommodating and loving parents.

Lisa: Finally you met them. It's rare that they're here together. When mom is here dad will be out of the country vise Versa. Hope to meet your parents soon.

Jennie: *she was caught off guard, she knows her parents will like Lisa so much if she's a man. Yes, her parents are homophobic. She won't know how she's going to introduce Lisa as her girlfriend to them* N-ne, of course. I will let you meet them soon.

Lisa: Do you want me to drive you home?

Jennie: Aniya, I can drive. Just take a rest. I know you're tired. I will see you at school tomorrow. *she tiptoed to reach the tall girl's lips*

It should be a quick kiss but Lisa pulls Jennie's waist to deepen the kiss.

"I love you".Jennie murmured

"l love you more".Lisa replied...

Jennie gets inside her car.

Lisa: You take care, wear your seatbelt. Text me once you're home.

Jennie: Yes mom...

Jennie leaned her head on her car window, Lisa grabs her face and gave her another kiss.

Lisa: Do you want me to get inside the car so we can continue? *she teased *

Jennie: I missed you already. Is it possible to miss you every second? Go inside I'm leaving now. Goodnight!

Lisa: Goodnight, my queen 👑 😘💞

-Weekend means series of updates. This one is just a quick chapter. Who wants angst?  hmmm.
