Chapter 15 (Moment of truth)

Everyone is busy preparing. Today will be the competition for the dance department. Lisa is now in the room while some makeup artist is doing her makeup. Her friends are also there to support her together with Jennie. They're currently waiting outside because no one is allowed inside except members and the glam team. It's been 6 months when Jenlisa had their small fight. They're always like that, they will be in small bickering and they will say sorry to each other then later they will be okay.

Today is also their 6th monthsary.

"You're beautiful".Tzuyu praised her.

"Thanks, Tzuyu. You too".She responded.

"Is everyone done with their makeups and had changed their outfits"? Their coach asked

"Ne!" everyone answered in unison.

"Alright, the program is about to start, let's go outside and watch other teams' performance".Coach instructed

Jennie, Jisoo, Seulgi, Joy, and Irene are now sitting at the bench where their team is assigned. There's a lot of students who also went to watch the live performance. The five is seated at the front center near the stage. They got a very good view.Their mouth went agape when they saw the dance team walking towards their direction. They're all dressed now.

Lisa is smiling like a kid and waving at them.

Jisoo: Yah!  Lisayah! You made me a proud mom!

Seulgi: You're handsome our baby girl.

Irene: Yah! Break a leg!

Joy: *fist bump*👊

Lisa: Thank you, gays, for being here. Oh! My girl why are you not speaking. *she went closer to Jennie and put her hands on her shoulder while facing the latter*

Jennie: Keopta 💞

Lisa: I know right..*flashes a smile* Happy monthsary  She leans closer and kissed the brunette's lips.

Jennie: Yah. You might leave me a lipstick stain. *act like irritated*

Seulgi: Stop doing PDA here, get a room hoes.  *the girls laugh*

Lisa: You're just jealous because you don't have a love life 😋*hug her Jennie*

*Seulgi and Irene look at each other*

Joy: C'mon let's take a group picture.

The competition started. Lisa went back to her team's sit. They waited for their number to be called. There are 10 teams to compete coming from different schools in Sokor.

Lisa is wearing all black. Her long blonde hair was a bit curled, she's wearing a black top showing off her shoulders and a small peak of her abs with black fitted shorts and black boots 👢. Indeed, she looks like a goddess.

The team was called to perform... Lisa is at the center...  She showed everyone her chic, swag and charismatic moves. Everyone wants agape. All of the members are good dancers but everyone's eyes are focus on Lisa's direction.

They performed "16 shots".

"Blonde girl in the center, please marryyyyy mee". A girl shouted from the crowd.

Jennie heard it and gave the girl a death glare.

Jisoo: Relax!! *tapping Jennie's shoulder*

Seulgi: Consequence of having a hot and handsome girlfriend *she laughs to tease her*

Everyone claps and did standing ovation when the performance is over. The team bowed and went down after they performed.

There's a girl who went on Lisa's direction and asks if she can take pictures. Lisa looked at Jennie's direction and mounted if it's okay. She saw Jennie nod so she let the girl took a picture with her. The girl hugged Lisa but Lisa's hands are off to limits, she decided to crossed arms just to be safe or else Jennie will kill her later. The girl said thank you and about to kiss her but Lisa didn't allow it.

"My girlfriend is here and watching us".She whispered to the girl.

"What a loyal human being, thanks for letting me take a picture with you ".The girl smile and walk away.

Lisa looked at Jennie's direction again and act innocent

After everyone performed. Here's the moment of truth.

The MC has to announce the top 3 and the grand champion. Everyone is nervous and hoping that their school will be called. The third, second and first winning team was called and proceeded to stage to get their awards.

MC: We still have 7 groups left. Who do you think will be this year's champion?

*the crowd went wild and start shouting their school's name*

MC: And the champion for this year is from..........

-YG UNIVERSITY-🏆🏅

The dance team did a group hug while jumping like a kid... They headed to the stage to get their award.

MC: Congratulations 🎊 YG Dance Troupe! We want to hear a message from you guys!

The MC gave the mic to Bambam who's standing next to her.

Bambam: I am greatly honored to say that the team had converted into a family; our "dance" being our child. I still remember the brainstorming sessions and the candid and ferocious discussions, sometimes at odd hours which ultimately resulted in fruitful decisions. I am sure all my colleagues and team members do remember the time spent in the dance room after the class hours as and when an inspiration came in. Despite all the odds, we were certain about one thing that we were going to achieve success. Thanks to our school BOD and also to our coach and of course to our colleagues who went here to support us. This award is for you! The audience clap after Bambam delivered his speech.

*Blonde girl! Please date meeeeeeeeeee* the girl from the crowd shouted.

Bambam gave the mic to Lisa.

Lisa: Sorry, but I want to live longer. My girlfriend is here and she will kill me if I will say yes. *laughs*

Crowd: Uwuuuuuuuuuuuuuh! 

Jennie just smiled while her friends are teasing her.

At the backstage

Coach: congrats team!  You did it. You nailed the performance! We should celebrate, my treat.

Dance team: Yey!!!!!

Coach: I will meet you later at 6 pm at "Baes Place " (Bar)

Tzuyu: Let's go together? *she asked Lisa*

Lisa: Hmm. Not sure if I'm coming.

Tzuyu: But why it's our team celebration?

Lisa: Let me see. *she went outside and go to her friends' direction*

Seulgi: Owwww here's the champion. Come here our baby girl *they did a group hug*

Jisoo: You never fail to surprise me, you always nailed your performance. I'm just a proud mama chicken.

Lisa: Thanks, guys!! Let's eat? My treat.

Irene: Woah! Manoban is treating us. This is a very rare scenario. C'mon guys before she will change her mind.

The girls proceeded to a restaurant nearby. It's only 3 PM.

Lisa: Boo, we have a celebration later at the bar with my teammates.

Jennie: and?

Lisa: Don't worry I'm not going I'm just letting you know.

Jennie: You should go. It's your team's celebration. Your coach will look for you for sure.

Lisa: It's okay even if it's a bar and Tzuyu's there?

Jennie: It's not okay of course. *frown*

Lisa: You change your mind so fast. Okay, I have a plan. Can you come with me? I'll just show my face there to say hi and then afterward will leave immediately. Stop frowning, okay.

Jennie: Hmm. Okay. If you say sooo.

The girls ordered their meal and start eating.

Joy: Thanks Lisa for the treat. 🙂

Lisa: Thank you, guys. Thank you for being with me always.

Irene: Soft hours *they laugh*

It's already 5 pm when the girls separated their ways. Irene, Seulgi, Joy, and Jisoo decided to have a night out. While Jennie will be accompanying Lisa for the mini celeb of the dance group. They're now inside the car and on their way to the venue.

Jennie: Do you think it's okay to come with you? You know it's your team's celebration.

Lisa: Trust me, okay. *she held Jennie's left hand and kiss*

--At Baes Place

Lisa went in first while Jennie went to the comfort room.

Coach: Lisa!  I thought you're not coming. *hugged her*

Lisa: Hi Coach, hi everyone. I just dropped by to say Hi. I'll be leaving in a minute.

Bambam: C'mon let's have a cheer, he poured everyone's glass a drink and toast.

Lisa: I'm with Jennie so I'm not allowed to drink more because I'll be driving her home later.

Kai: What a KJ, Manoban.

Tzuyu: So that bitch is here huh. *drinking*

Lisa: Oh here she is, come here, baby. *Jennie sit beside her*

Coach: Hi Jennie. Glad you came.

Jennie: Hi coach, she bowed her head to show some respect.

Bambam: You're keeping an eye to your girl huh. You're doing it right. Because someone might steal her *divert his eyes to Tzuyu*

Lisa: Sorry everyone, I think we have to go now. We have prior commitments tonight.*Stands up and held Jennie's hand* I promise, I'll make it up to you guys next time. Coach, we have to go *bow her head*

Coach: We're counting on you Lisa for the next time!

The two walked intertwining their hands out of the bar. Lisa opened the car door for Jennie. Then she drives to a familiar street.

Jennie: Are we going home now?

Lisa: Aniya. But the place that I'm gonna bring you is just a few blocks away from my house.

Jennie : *curious*

Lisa: Here we are. *She parked her car*Jennie: Children's Park?

Lisa: C'mon. *she opened the car door and held Jennie's hand*

The two proceeded to the bench under the tree. It's already night but the park is so beautiful because of the street lights and some fireflies...

No one is around except the two of them.

Jennie: Why are we here? Do you want to play on slides at night that's why to bring me here?  *she teased*

Lisa: Aniya! But I used to play here when I was a kid with Jisoo Unnie. This is my favorite place because I met someone here before that I cannot erase on my mind.

Jennie: Someone?* Her voice is scary.

Lisa: Yah!  Why are you glaring to me as if you're gonna bury me alive? Haha! Do you know why I have bangs until this time?

Jennie: Because your forehead is wide?

Lisa: Yaaaaaah! *she hit Jennie's arm slightly*

Jennie: Hahahahahahahaha. I'm just kidding. I still love you because you're rich.

Lisa: You just love me because I'm rich? *confused*

Jennie: You're rich because you owned an airport * put her palm on Lisa's forehead* Hahahaha.

Lisa: stop teasing me.

Jennie: Haha I can't breathe. I'm kidding. I love you *kissed her nose* Just continue your story.

Lisa: Going back, I grew my bangs because of someone. I told her before that I will have bangs when I grew up so we will be matchy-matchy.

Jennie is just confusingly starring at her. She remembered someone in the past because of Lisa's confession.

Jennie: I'm not sure if we're thinking the same but... Don't tell me...

Lisa gets her wallet and gave it to Jennie.

Lisa: Here open this for me.

Jennie opened the wallet slowly. She saw a familiar picture on the right side. She can't clearly see it because of the dim light in the park. She starred on the picture and her mouth wents agape when she realized who's in the picture is... It's her... Same on the picture that she kept in her wallet for a decade. Her tears fall slowly. She's still in shock and she can't believe what she just found out.

Jennie: You're that kid?  It's you?

Lisa: Yes, Mandu.*she flashes a smile *

Jennie hugged her and cried like a kid. She's tapping Lisa's back.

"How did you know? I'm sorry if I left you before but I didn't mean it, my family migrated it's a quick decision so I don't have time to bid for a goodbye ".She's crying

"But believe me, I tried searching you in social media but it was unsuccessful. I really wanted to find and keep in touch with you. I didn't forget you and that's the truth". Jennie cried.

"Stop crying, it's fine. I know it's you when you left your wallet in my car, remember that day? I opened it and saw our childhood picture. I'm excited to tell you that time but I'm finding a perfect timing and I think tonight is that perfect timing ".Lisa tried to calm her.

Lisa pulled from the hug and wipe Jennie's tears.

"You're still pretty even you're crying, how is it possible ".Lisa said

Wait for me here, I'll just get something in my car. Then Lisa stands up.

After a few minutes,s she goes back to Jennie hiding a bouquet 💐 at her back.

Jennie: what are you hiding huh?

Lisa : *she gave the flowers* Happy Monthsary my love.

Jennie: Wow, this is so beautiful. Thank you, Boo. But how did you prepare this, I mean how did you buy this knowing that you're busy the whole day?

Lisa: I'm like BDO, I always find ways. *smiles*Did you like it?

Jennie: Ne, but I like you more 😍

Lisa: Turn around. She put on a necklace on Jennie. It's a silver necklace with JL initials on it.

Jennie: Wow this is sooooo cute, I like it. Thank you, Boo. *gave her a kiss on the cheek* Oh I have something for you too... *Give her a small box* open it...

Lisa: What's this. She slowly opened the box. "A couple of rings* are you proposing, Jennie Ruby Jane Kim? Haha!

Jennie: It seems like.

Jennie put the ring on Lisa's ring finger. It's a silver ring with a small heart and has a "J" initial. Lisa did the same, she let Jennie wear the ring it's the same with her but Jennie owns a ring with "L" initial.

Lisa: Thank you. It's been 6 months now and yet my feeling for you wasn't the same for the first time because the love I feel for you now is getting stronger and I fall deeper than before. Yes! I am so involved with you my boo. Thank you for coming in again in my life.

Jennie: thank you for waiting for me. Destiny really bright back us together. Who will though that my first love is my girlfriend now?

Lisa: Oh so you had a crush on me even when we're a kid?

Jennie: Yeah, because you promise me that you're going to marry me and we will be together. I fell in love with those words.

Lisa: And I'm going to do that promise.

Lisa moves her face closer to Jennie. They starred to each other for a minute before they shared a long sweet kiss. The sweetest kiss that they ever tasted. This one is more passionate, a kiss full of love and care. Lisa's hand was on Jennie's nape while Jennie's hand are both on Lisa's back. Jennie is leaning her back on the bench comfortably while Lisa is kissing her...Lisa removed her jacket and put it in on Jennie. She pulled from the kiss.

Lisa: You must be cold.

Jennie: But how about you.

Lisa: Just hugged me instead.

Jennie: "I love you, Lisa. Only you."She stated while Lisa is resting on her chest and while she's hugging the latter.

Kidding!  Hahaha, this is just the middle of the story. We're not yet done. Angst is coming...
