Chapter 11

It's been a week since Mikey's announcement of the brawl. I'm still in a panic because they are about to post the result of our exam and I need to be in the top 1 again. Then I need to focus on the upcoming fight. If not because of Takashi I must be gone crazy by now.

He's the perfect boyfriend! He's caring and understanding. He knows that I need to ace the exam so he gave me time to study. He didn't bother me though sometimes I wish he does. He just messages or calls me to check if I'm okay. He's not suffocating me.

"Here." He said, handing me a bar of chocolate.

"Yuzuha told me that this will get you more focused." He added.

I look up to see his beautiful face and smile at him. "Thank you, Takashi. Seeing your face helps to keep me calm."

"It's been two weeks since I won and I haven't collected my prize yet."

"I thought you got the big ass check already?" I said, acting like I didn't know what he was saying.

"Oh." His face gloom and sit beside me. I peek at him and he's really sulking! He's so cute.

"You're a captain of some popular gang yet you're sulking like a kid because of a kiss," I said, teasing him. He looks at me with those puppy eyes.

"You promised." He said, almost pouting in front of me.

"Really? The pouting-puppy eye card?" He just stared at me, I can't! This is too much cuteness. I cupped his face and quickly peck his lips.

"There."

"What? I can't even feel it."

"We're at the rooftop of our school for Pete's sake!"

He looked around "So? We're the only ones here. I can't see anyone around."

"I didn't know that you're clingy like this."

"I just want to remind you every day that you're mine." He leaned closer. I immediately leaned back but he continues to move forward.

"I'm gonna fall!"

"Then kiss me so you won't fall."

"You're more flirty than me-" I squeal when I lose my balance and am about to hit the ground. He immediately grabbed my waist. We both fell with him on top of me but thanks for grabbing my waist the impact is not that hard.

There's silence for a couple of seconds. Our position is kinda... inappropriate? if I can say that? His one knee is in between my legs. His face became serious, staring at me and I can hear that his breathing became heavy.

despite our weird position, I got lost in his eyes. He's so pretty! I can't help but touch his face. I trace his face with my finger and brush my thumb on his cheeks. I have decided! I want to spend the rest of my life with him. After I reach my goal, I will tell him this.

He suddenly leans close and kisses me passionately. I didn't have time to react! his lips are soft, not that I didn't know. We accidentally kissed before but still! It's soft.

He gently bit my lips, making me open my mouth. He took the opportunity to enter his tongue to me. I'm surprised but I still fight his tongue with mine. My heart started to beat fast. Damn! he's a good kisser when did he learn that?

After a couple of minutes, he broke our kiss to catch our breath.

"Damn, that was hot," I whispered. I heard him chuckle. Shit! He heard my thoughts.

"This side of you..."

"What? The pervy one?" I said and he chuckled. He then removed some strands of my hair from my face.

"This carefree side of you. You, laughing with your mouth wide open, You, sitting like a boy," He chuckled. "And you, swearing like there's no tomorrow. I may sound selfish but I don't want others to see those. I want to keep them to myself. " He said. He leaned back and offered his hand to get me up. We both went back to sit properly.

My cheeks instantly burn by just his word. "Smooth talker. I bet you said that to other girls."

"You're my second girlfriend and my first serious one." He said, I looked at him surprised.

Oh, so he does have an ex-girlfriend. Is she pretty? Does he love him so much? Is she the one who taught him how to kiss like this?

He holds my chin and pulls it to meet his gaze "You're overthinking." He then flicks my forehead.

"Ouch! No, I'm not." I said, holding my forehead

"It's just a puppy love with a bit of curiosity so it doesn't mean anything to me." He said in a serious tone.

"You're always curious." I halted when I remembered that I heard that when I was Akio. Cold comes rushing from my head down to my toes.

"What?"

"Nothing," I laugh awkwardly. I heard the bell ring. Saved by the bell!

"Our next class gonna start, let's go." I hurriedly stand and walk away.

Mitsuya

"Oi! You're smiling like an idiot, are you high or something?" Baji asked.

"You're always spacing out while smiling these days, You looked like you're plotting a murder. It's scaring me." Hakkai said, looking at me.

"Don't tell me you got a girlfriend? because last time you became like that is when you and-" Nahoya didn't finish his sentence when Souya hit his side with his elbow. I just look at them.

"Sorry." Nahoya quickly said.

"I am just happy," I replied. Damn, I look like a middle school boy that falls in love for the first time.

"Who's the lucky girl?" Baji asked.

As a proud boyfriend, I took my phone from my pocket and opened my gallery, I picked a stolen picture that I took when she was busy reading notes. "Her name is y/n," I said.

"Wow! She's pretty." Nahoya said.

"If she's my girlfriend, I would also smile like an idiot while spacing out," Baji said.

"Let us meet her!" Hakkai said.

"Meet who?" Mikey walked towards us with Draken on his side.

"Mitsuya's girlfriend!" Souya said.

"Oh, you got a girlfriend! About time! I'm happy for you." Mikey said as he tapped my shoulders.

"This is her!" Souya flips my screen to Mikey. He stares at it for a while. "She's pretty!" Mikey said.

"You can invite her so we can know her," Draken said and I just nodded. I'm happy to have such supportive friends.

"I will!"

A wild Akio suddenly appeared at our hideout. "Hey, guys! I bought foods." He said, showing us bags of food.

"Nice! I'm hungry!" Nahoya said and walked towards him to get the bags.

We all take a break to eat together. I look at him, he's busy eating his food.

"This is good!" He said and looked at me. His face has some sauce from the tonkatsu that he's eating.

"You're a messy eater!" I said and wiped the sauce from the side of his lips using my thumb. I froze from what I did, Akio too. He just stared at me with his eyes wide. My heart instantly skipped a beat when I realized that I just touched his lips! What the hell? I thought I sorted my feelings last time? What is this weird feeling again?

"So-Sorry! I was used to wiping the dirt from my sibling's faces. it became a habit." I quickly explained.

"It's... It's fine. Thank you Mitsuya-san." He said and quickly went back to eating.

"Yo! Akio, have you seen Mitsuya's girlfriend? She's pretty! He'll introduce her to us next time." Baji said as he sat beside Akio.

Akio suddenly chokes on his food.

I was staring at Akio that is busy reading some manga. we're in my room just hanging out because it's the weekend, I called y/n earlier but she said that she has something to do so she can't meet me.

A month has already passed since the announcement of our next fight, I saw him become serious every time we talk about the fight. His eyes are determined to win.

I sit closer to him. when he felt my presence, he flinched. "Mitsuya-san!" He said and looked around. "There's a lot of space, why are you here?"

"Akio."

"Hmm?" He hums nervously. I leaned close to him and saw something on his shoulders that my eyes were wide.

He panicked and looked away but I grabbed his cheeks and turned them to face me and before he could speak I kissed him.

He didn't move. He froze like a statue in his seat, The manga that he's reading fell on the floor. After that kiss, I slowly distance myself.

"I was right. it's you, y/n."
