This will be fun

I feel a mysterious and mischievous feeling bubble in me as if Loki himself was encouraging me to mess with the child. I sigh and motion for him to follow me as I walk back to my hut.

" there's a reason she doesn't live in the village child, she isn't trouble but she should be taken seriously"

"Pfft, come on tell me her tale of woe, it cannot be anything too out of the ordinanry for a dragon,"

" she is no ordinary dragon child, she is as tall as out houses and older then even some trees she has been around before many of the villages were born when dragons roamed free and people his away from them instead of attacking them. She is called the dragon mother for a reason child."

" what do you mean dragon mother? I thought that's what they call you?"

" my name is used loosely and they don't use it often, she is the real mother of dragons, when she first came- before I had arrived that is- she was being led by valka and Cheif haddock to the dragon stables to rest and heal from injury's she got due to a wolf pack. Hiccup said that she was halfway to the cave when her head perked up as if she heard something and then she took of shortly after, she heard a woman and her young child being threatened by a drunken man, she protected the woman and pinned down the man nearly killed him too if Cheif haddock wasn't there to stop her either, she protected that woman and her children from her own husband, he was banned from the village shortly after but that same woman gave frigg her name"

" that's cool, what does she look like? If you don't mind I won't be able to speak with you after she arrives so I might as well ask now"

" she's as tall as our tallest buildings standing, her scales appear as if she came from the stars itself she can glow like stars very brightly in some places, at night her stars glow brightly and you can't see where she is if she flys, her normal scales are a dark black almost purple shine to then in the day, her head is as big as a boat and her claws more sharp then even the sharpest axe and as thick as a tree she could cut many down with a swipe if she wishes, and her teeth are whilte and sad sharp as a newly forged sword, she is beautiful but deadly at the same time, her wigs are big but can span a great distance, remember this child she will not be easy at all to tame let alone train  you have dug yourself a grave that's too deep and now you must see if anyone is above to help you out or bury you in it."

I then leave him standing in the path eventually entering my house and getting ready for bed.

The next morning came and I packed some clothes into a bag, I wouldn't need them after I shift and if all goes well I would have to grab them after I shift back too as well. Around noon I helped bunny, load skullcrusher with some things as well, I had three saddlebags for each egg that hiccup had made last night and this morning for me, and after giveing Higgs to everyone and bidding the Cheifs and their families goodbye me and eret and skullcrusher left the village and went deeper into the woods. During this journey I told eret about frigg and I told him some of the things I told brad broughtson last night with the added facts of why I left due to distracting the dragons.

We got to the cave and I took a deep breath preparing to tell eret who I was.

" son .... I haven't been completely honest with you lately and I feel like it's time for you to know."

Walking over to the saddle bags I take out the eggs that hiccup made and place them on the ground holding one before walking over to the cave that I was first found in.

" wha- mom what are you talking about? What do you mean-where did you get these eggs?!"

" it's ok son, hiccup made them, come along follow me we have some things to do before we head back yo the village."

Sliding into the cavern I place the egg in a flat spot eret following begging me hesitantly, I grab the eggs and place them by the outher one, walking back up I grab the bag with my clothes and start breaking as many branches as I can.

" mom what are you doing? Where's frigg? And why do you have eggs that hiccup made you?"

" relax eret, help me get some of these branches as many as you can carry, we need to make a nest and I'll tell you everything once we're back inside the cave dear don't worry"

Eret looks at me in exasperation knowing he's not going to get anything out of me untill he does what I say, he sighs and starts grabbing branches and sticks and dropping them into the cave, once I see that we have enough I start to make a makeshift nest out of the wood, once I light it after I shift it should burn the entire time I'm gone since my fire stays around longer and is hotter then most dragons. Once finished I face eret.

" ok, now first off eret, these eggs are fake because I need a reason to be out of the village for an extended amount of time without anyone questioning it, and about frigg, she is real and she does exist but she......is me? I know I sound mad but I was born a long time ago with the power to change into a dragon a gift that I was given from the gods, my mother that birthed me was very young along with my father, they were not wed and my mother passed on giveing birth to me, her father left me in a cave for the dragons because of my curse he called it, I was a mere babe, and the dragons took me in along with some nymphs and sprites and raised me to be the woman I am now."

" wow.... and that's why you have to have fake eggs because you will be with me but as...frigg?"

" indeed, now you can stay in here when I shift or you can go outside and wait, but if you stay here I have to undress in order to not tear my clothes, your welcome to come in after though, but there's a scale on my neck when I'm frigg it looks just like the one I gave you and your sister."

Eret sighs and scrunches his nose before nodding and leavening with a short ' I love you mom!' I laugh and tell him I love him too, quickly undressing and unpacking a bed roll I lay it out placing my clothes on it before moving accross the cave and shifting takeing a deep breath and shuddering afterwards I blast the nest of 'eggs' with fire so it smolderes and keeps it warm the nest is perfect, there's some holes in this cave for ventilation so I won't have to worry about smoke getting stuck in here. Slowly I make my way to the enterance and emerge into the small clearing. Eret sees me emerge from the cave and backs up his eyes wide I fully emerge keeping low to the ground so eret can see me, I do a dragons smile with no teeth and lift my head up so he can see the scale that matches his.

" wow.... mother your.... giant?"

I let out a dragons laugh chuckling at my son, he pats my neck hesitantly before clearing his throat.

" ahem, well if we want to make it to the village showing then we might leave now do you want to fly or walk?"

I grin and spread my wings as much as I can in this small area, eret laughs and races to skullcrusher quickly takeing off me following close behind, I fly higher then eret so we don't run into each outherhalfway to the village I hear a nestlings wings below and I see one struggleing to fly high and catch up with us, slowing down and dropping down catching the young one in my claws I rise again and drop the nestling into erets lap telling the young one to stop struggleing and wait. Eret holds the small shadow wing close to him so they don't fall off.

We get to the village and I can see a crowd of dragons and villagers around the field where I stay, I see the Cheifs and hiccup on a stand like a makeshift arena with people surrounding the feild, I slow down and let eret go first training my hearing on erets and the area where he landed, he lets the shadow wing go and a chorus of laughs eco from the outher villagers and their Cheifs I circle the area the cloudy day makeing it seem as it the shadow I cast was a mere cloud, then I her the brat speak.

" are you kidding me?! This is the mighty dragon mother? This is what I have to train? I have trained dogs larger then this dragon!"

" ahem that's- that's not frigg-"

Takeing this as my cue to land I dive before opening my wings and landing with a giant boom behind the brat. The whole crowd goes silent and I would've laughed if I was in the crowd, soon all the burk villagers shout and cheer and the Cheifs seem to pale when I turn to look at them and the crowd. I look down to see the brat let out a shakeup laugh before looking up at me his eyes wide with fear. I breath heavily down on him before smileing with my teeth getting ready to roar if he doesn't move. He does before I get the chance to scrambleing forward quickly not takeing his eyes off me, I stand waiting for someone to do something and that's when valka takes this as her cue.

" CHEIF'S, FAMILY,FREINDS, VISITORS! I WOULD LIKE TO INTRODUCE YOU TO THE MOTHER OF DRAGONS FRIGG! NOW LETS LET THE CHILDREN GET TO KNOW THEIR DRAGONS BEFORE THE FEAST IN THE GREAT HALL TONIGHT!, YOU MAY ALL CONTINUE WITH YOUR TASKS EVEYONE!."

soon the cloud dispersed and the Cheifs and their familys come to see their children's dragons, all of them giveing me a wide girth except Cheif Khad that is. When the Cheif walked up to his son he quite literally picked him up and set him on his feet before sountering up to me I could smell the nervousness and freak on him though he acted like he was the man who was higher then the gods themselves. He stopped at my pay looking at my nails as I glared down at him a soft grown bubbleing in my throat warning him he's too close. He quickly got the message and backed away acting as if he wasn't fazed but I could smell the nervousness and fear he held from outhers. He stank of it the smell of fear is like sharp smell one that stabs your nose at first the smell is of rotten fruit and fish the more fear you hold and the longer you fear that thing the worse you smell, I hope that he gets over his fear of dragons or none of them will be near him any time soon. I huff at him and the outhers before walking away to my feild.
