Cursed womb . 呪胎九相図

"Trust your instincts. Trust yourself."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The four first-years stand in a semi-circle outside the cold, concrete walls of the juvenile detention center. The air is heavy with an oppressive energy, a sign of the powerful Curse lurking inside. Rain drizzles steadily, soaking their uniforms, but no one seems to care.

Ijichi Kiyotaka, their assistant supervisor, adjusts his glasses and clears his throat as he opens a folder with the mission details.

"Listen carefully," he begins, his tone formal and serious. "This facility was placed under emergency lockdown after the appearance of a Special Grade Curse. Before the barrier was sealed, reports indicated multiple deaths inside. Your mission is to confirm the presence of survivors and eliminate the curse."

Naomi frowns, adjusting the grip on her umbrella. "Special Grade? That's supposed to be above our level, right?"

Ijichi nods, pulling out a ranking chart with four different classifications for Jujutsu curses and sorcerers. He points at the lowest tier.

"Let me explain the danger levels."

Grade 4 – "A wooden bat is enough to handle it."Grade 3 – "You could deal with it using a handgun."Grade 2 – "Even a close-range shotgun wouldn't guarantee survival."Grade 1 & Semi-Grade 1 – "These are a serious threat. Think military-grade firepower."

Ijichi then flips the page, revealing the highest rank.

Special Grade – "Your only option is to flee or request for a sorcerer of Satoru Gojo's level."

A beat of silence follows.

Yuji blinks. "Wait—so we're about to go in there... knowing we might have to run for our lives?"

Megumi, arms crossed, sighs. "That's what it means to be a Jujutsu sorcerer. We don't always get missions we're suited for."

Naomi watches the chart carefully, fingers tightening at her sides. "So if we see this thing, we don't fight—we just grab the survivors and get out?"

Ijichi hesitates, then nods. "Correct... but considering the nature of this mission, retreat may not be possible. The barrier will likely prevent entry and exit."

Yuji groans, rubbing his temple. "Great. So, we're basically stuck with a boss fight."

Nobara clicks her tongue, annoyed. "Tch. If they knew it was Special Grade, why not send someone else?"

Ijichi looks uncomfortable, but before he can answer, the radio in his car crackles ominously. A distress call—garbled and cut off—comes through.

"This is... last report... inside... everything... it's... h-help—"

The signal dies. The four first-years exchange glances.

Megumi exhales sharply. "Too late to back out now. Let's move."

Yuji, Naomi, and Nobara follow behind as the gate to the detention center creaks open, the darkness inside waiting to swallow them whole.

The rain trickles down, soaking through their uniforms. The sky is a dull gray, matching the cold unease settling in Megumi's chest. He watches Naomi out of the corner of his eye. She's standing next to Yuji, listening carefully to Ijichi's explanation, her usual carefree attitude replaced with quiet focus.

She shouldn't be here.

This mission was dangerous. Even for trained sorcerers. A Special Grade? They were practically being sent to their deaths.

Yuji and Nobara... at least they had some battle experience. But Naomi? She had just started training.

Megumi's fingers twitch. What were the higher-ups thinking? His mind races, but he can't find a single logical reason why Naomi would be here—unless there was something he wasn't being told.

Inside the dimly lit Jujutsu Headquarters, a group of elders sits in a semi-circle, their faces barely visible. A single candle flickers in the center of the room.

A messenger kneels before them, relaying the latest update.

"Gojo Satoru has officially registered Naomi Gojo as a student at Jujutsu High."

A murmur spreads through the room. One of the elders scoffs.

"He claims she has no cursed energy, yet he still insists on keeping her close?"

Another voice, sharper and more suspicious, speaks up. "Satoru has always been reckless, but he wouldn't waste time training someone completely powerless. He's hiding something."

Silence follows. Then, an older man, voice cold as ice, decides:

"Send her on the next mission. A Special Grade."

A few elders hesitate. "A Special Grade? That's practically a death sentence for a non-sorcerer."

"Exactly. If she survives... we'll know for certain what she's capable of. If she dies—then she was never worth considering in the first place."

The candle flickers again. The decision is final.

Megumi doesn't know about that conversation. But he knows the higher-ups don't do things without a reason. And right now, Naomi's presence here makes no sense. He exhales sharply, pushing down his frustration.

"Just stay close to us inside," he mutters.

Naomi looks at him, surprised. "Huh?"

"It's dangerous. Don't wander off." She gives a small nod, gripping her umbrella tighter. "Alright." Megumi doesn't say it out loud, but in his head, he makes a silent promise:

No matter what those bastards are planning... I won't let them use her.

The gate creaks open. The darkness inside the detention center waits.

The moment they stepped through the massive iron gates of the detention center, an eerie silence greeted them. The air was thick with an oppressive energy, suffocating and heavy, making Naomi's stomach twist uncomfortably. Even the flickering lights above seemed weaker, as if they, too, were afraid of what lurked inside.

Ijichi's voice crackled through the communication device in Yuji's ear.

"The cursed spirit inside is at least a Special Grade," he informed them. "If the situation becomes dire, your top priority is retreat. Do not attempt to engage recklessly."

Naomi swallowed hard, clutching the fabric of her uniform. She wasn't even supposed to be here. Her training had barely started. She had no cursed energy, no means to fight back—only her instincts and her ability to run. This mission wasn't meant for someone like her.

Megumi, walking beside her, cast a glance in her direction. His brows furrowed slightly, as if something about this whole situation didn't sit right with him.

She met his gaze briefly before looking away. She already knew what he was thinking—Why is Naomi here?

She didn't have an answer.

"Alright," Yuji said, breaking the tense silence. "Let's go."

They moved deeper into the facility, their footsteps echoing ominously against the cracked tile floors. The deeper they went, the stronger the cursed energy became. Naomi's chest tightened. The entire place reeked of something foul—something wrong.

Then— A sickening squelch beneath her shoe. She froze. Slowly, she looked down.

Blood. Dark, still fresh. Her breath hitched as she followed the crimson trail with her eyes—leading to a grotesque sight at the end of the hall. A severed hand.

Her stomach twisted violently, bile rising in her throat.

"That confirms it," Megumi muttered, his voice low. "The inmates are already dead."

A heavy silence fell over them. Nobara let out a sigh, resting her hammer against her shoulder. "So, what now?"

"Find the source of the cursed energy," Megumi answered. "Eliminate it."

Simple in words. Terrifying in execution. Naomi forced herself to keep moving, ignoring the way her body screamed at her to run back outside.

Then—A creak. A deep, unnatural creak from above. All of them looked up at the same time.

The ceiling buckled. Then, before anyone could react—

"Nobara!"

The floor beneath Nobara collapsed. She barely had time to scream as she was sucked down into the darkness. "NO!" Naomi lunged forward, her hand outstretched—

But she was too slow. The ground sealed shut, as if it had never been broken in the first place. An unbearable silence followed. Then, Yuji burst into action.

"WE'RE GOING AFTER HER!" he shouted, already running ahead.

"WAIT!" Megumi grabbed his arm, yanking him back.

Naomi barely registered their argument. She stood frozen, heart hammering against her ribs. Nobara had just—she was just there—and now—

A chill ran down her spine. Something was watching them. She turned her head slowly.

At the far end of the hallway, something grotesque stirred in the shadows.

It was massive, its form barely humanoid, its body warped and pulsing with pure malice. Its glowing eyes flickered with something inhuman, its jagged mouth curling into a sinister grin.

A Special Grade.

Yuji and Megumi immediately dropped into fighting stances. Naomi, on the other hand— Her legs refused to move. The Special Grade didn't hesitate. It attacked.

Yuji and Megumi launched forward at the same time.

Naomi?

She jumped back. That was the only thing she could do—run, dodge, survive.

The curse swiped at her with its massive, clawed arm, and she barely managed to twist her body out of the way. The wind from its attack rushed past her face, sharp enough that she could feel how close she had been to death.

Her heart was pounding.

"I—" Her breath hitched. "I can't fight this thing!"

Yuji roared, launching himself at the curse, slamming his fist into its grotesque body. A shockwave erupted, the impact powerful—but the curse barely flinched. Instead, it grabbed Yuji mid-air and flung him across the room.

"YUJI!" Naomi screamed.

Yuji hit the wall with a sickening crack. Naomi's stomach lurched, but she had no time to check on him— Because the curse had already shifted its attention toward her.

It lunged. Panic surged through her veins as she threw herself out of the way, rolling clumsily across the floor. Her hands scraped against the rough tiles, but she ignored the sting, pushing herself back up.

She had no cursed energy. She had no weapons. All she had were her instincts.

She ran.

The curse chased her, its grotesque limbs distorting as it moved unnaturally fast. Naomi dodged left, barely avoiding a swipe aimed for her head. She jumped back, her heel nearly catching on the broken floor.

The room was shrinking. She was running out of space. Her breathing was frantic, fear clawing at her chest.

"I can't—"

Then— Megumi was there.

Just as the curse's arm swung toward her, Megumi slammed into her from the side, knocking her away. The Special Grade Curse towers over them, its grotesque, shifting form barely visible in the dim light. The air is thick—heavy with cursed energy, pressing down on Naomi's chest like a crushing weight.

Her breath comes in short gasps as she stares at the monster before them.

"This thing is—"

Before she can finish, it moves. A massive claw swipes at her. Naomi's body moves before she even thinks. She jumps back, barely avoiding the strike as the floor where she stood shatters into debris. Her legs tremble, but she doesn't stop moving. Don't stop. Don't freeze. If you stop, you're dead.

Yuji doesn't hesitate. Ignoring the pain in his broken arm, he charges forward.

"Take this, bastard!" He slams his fist into the curse's face with all his strength—but it barely flinches. Naomi's eyes widen in horror. That was a direct hit—and it did nothing?!

The Special Grade grabs Yuji's head, its massive hand crushing down.

"Let him go!"

Megumi summons Nue, the owl-like shikigami diving from above, its claws raking against the curse's flesh. The curse snarls, tossing Yuji aside like a ragdoll. Yuji crashes into the ground, coughing up blood.

"Yuji!" Naomi cries, running toward him.

But the curse is faster. It lunges at her. The moment the curse swings at her, time seems to slow. Naomi's mind flashes back to an empty training room at Jujutsu High.

"Naomi, you have zero cursed energy." Gojo's voice is annoyingly casual, despite the harsh reality of his words.

She sits on the floor, panting after another failed attempt at even sensing cursed energy."Yeah, thanks for the reminder, Satoru."

Gojo grins, kneeling beside her. "But~!" He pokes her forehead. "That just means you gotta train the one thing you do have—your body!"

He suddenly grabs her wrist and pulls her up. "Wha—hey—!" Before she can react, Gojo shoves her backward.

Her instincts kick in. She twists mid-air, landing on her feet. Gojo claps, smirking. "See? You have good reflexes, but your hesitation will kill you in a real fight."

"That's easy for you to say!" she snaps.

Gojo sighs, ruffling her hair." Listen, Naomi. If you can't use cursed energy, you need to train your body to its absolute limit. If someone attacks you, don't think—just move."

"Trust your instincts. Trust yourself."

Now, standing in front of the Special Grade, those words come rushing back to her. The curse's claw swings down— And this time, Naomi doesn't think. She jumps. The claw barely grazes her leg, but she lands, rolling across the floor, heart pounding.

"Holy shit—I actually dodged that—"

But there's no time to celebrate. The curse lunges again. Naomi sprints toward the wall, using a broken piece of debris as a springboard to jump onto a ledge. Don't stop. Don't hesitate. She leaps off just as the curse smashes the ledge to pieces.

"Megumi, help!" she yells.

Megumi clenches his fists, his mind racing. "This isn't working. Our attacks aren't doing anything." Yuji grits his teeth, clutching his injured arm.

"We just have to hold on until we find an opening!" Megumi summons Divine Dogs, the shikigami biting into the curse's arms, giving Yuji an opening to punch it in the face again.

Naomi keeps dodging, jumping across the broken debris, her body moving entirely on instinct.

The curse roars in frustration, slamming both arms down. The impact shakes the entire room.

Naomi loses her footing—slipping. "Shit—!"

She crashes onto the floor, the curse's shadow looming over her. Her heartbeat pounds in her ears. Move. Move. Move! But—she's too slow this time. The curse raises its arm for the final strike.

Yuji sees it happening.

"NAOMI—!" His mind races. His body is broken. His attacks are useless.

She hit the ground hard, gasping as Megumi stood in front of her, arms outstretched.

"Naomi, GET OUT OF HERE!" he ordered, his voice sharp.

Naomi's throat tightened. Megumi faced the curse head-on, summoning his Divine Dogs, their forms snapping and growling at the Special Grade. He was injured. Bleeding. Exhausted.

But he was still protecting her. Naomi clenched her fists.

"Dammit!" She pushed herself up.

"Stay down!" he shouts.

In an instant, a massive white serpent bursts from the ground, wrapping itself around the curse's arm and slamming it back. Naomi hits the floor, gasping. Megumi doesn't hesitate—he grabs her arm and pulls her up.

"Get out of here, Naomi!" She stares at him, wide-eyed. "W-What?!"

Megumi shoves her back. "Find Nobara! Yuji and I will distract this thing!"

Naomi's eyes dart between the raging curse and Megumi's tense posture.

"But you—"

"GO!" Megumi barks. Yuji grits his teeth, standing beside Megumi.

"Naomi, just do it! Nobara's out there alone—we'll handle this!"

Naomi hesitates—her hands trembling. Then—she turns and runs. She sprints across the shattered floor, forcing herself not to look back. As she runs, she hears it— The sound of Megumi and Yuji charging back into battle.

And Naomi?

She's diving into the unknown—alone. Naomi's breathing is ragged as she sprints through the dark, ruined hallways of the detention center. Her heart pounds against her ribs, but she forces herself forward.

"Damn it, damn it, damn it!" she mutters under her breath. Megumi and Yuji are fighting for their lives, and she's running off on her own.

She feels useless. But I can't stop now. She tightens her fists, scanning the dark corridors.

"Nobara!" she calls out, her voice echoing.

No response. She pushes forward, stepping over broken debris and flickering lights. Water drips from the cracked ceiling, the scent of mold and rust filling the air.

Everything is too quiet.

Then—

A faint sound. A voice.

"Tch—get off me!"

Naomi's eyes widen. "Nobara!"

She breaks into a sprint, rounding a corner— And freezes.

Nobara is pinned to the ground, struggling against a grotesque, deformed curse.

Its twisted arms wrap around her wrists, pressing her down, its drooling maw hovering over her face. Nobara grits her teeth, trying to reach for her hammer.

"Ugh—damn it!" Naomi's body moves before she thinks. She grabs a chunk of broken concrete and hurls it at the curse's head.

"HEY, UGLY!" The rock smashes into the curse's skull, making it snarl and turn toward her.

Nobara uses the distraction, kneeing the curse in the stomach and rolling free.

"Took you long enough!" Nobara snaps, scrambling to her feet.

"Yeah, yeah, you're welcome!" Naomi huffs, backing up as the curse growls.

Nobara grins, gripping her hammer.

"Let's finish this, shall we?"

ahh man nobara and naomi can make such a good bestie pair. What u say?

I have written Naomi in such a way that her character develops slowly, for someone who just joined jujutsu high she can not fight a special grade right away.. and she is also a crackhead similar to Yuji.(No debate)

Gojo thinks you're weak if you don't vote. Prove him wrong.
