Klaus and Sunny were crawling though the vents of the hospital, trying to find a way out.

Sunny: almost out.

She was right, there was a vent opening right ahead of them.

Klaus didn't hear anyone outside so he kicked open the vent.

They crawled out.

Klaus: sunny, look, the break room.

They quickly went into a door labeled BREAK ROOM.

Sunny walked up to a rack of white coats.

Klaus: if Olaf can disguise himself, so can we.

Count olaf shoved violet into a room, her eyes met isabelle's.

Isabelle was sitting in a chair in the corner. She was wearing a blue dress.

Olaf pushed violet onto a hospital bed.

Olaf: you stay here.

Esmé sat down in a chair.

Olaf left the room, it was Esmé, Violet, and Isabelle.

As klaus and sunny left the break room, they started walking through the hospital.

Klaus: I feel.. dishonest.

Sunny: me too.

Klaus turned a corner and saw olaf come out of a room, they quickly went into a random room.

A woman was in there, the room was small and had shelves inside.

The woman had brown hair up to her shoulders, she had a blue shirt on, and a red scarf. She looked pregnant.

Klaus: I'm so sorry to disturb you, what are you doing in here, if you don't mind me asking.

Woman: I'm looking for something.. I know it sounds weird but this thing is important.

Klaus: oh.. okay. Well I'm hiding from someone, so join the club.

Woman: I know who, Klaus Baudelaire, and little Sunny.

Sunny: not little!

Klaus: you know us?

Woman: I'm Kit, Kit Snicket.

Isabelle: this room is boring.

Esmé: this whole hospital is boring but we have to find the object i am looking for.. you brats just happened to find it before i had a chance. That taxi driver wouldn't tell me who has it but he told me where it was.

Isabelle: yeah, yeah, the-

Esmé: don't say it's name, it's too painful.

Violet: why do you want it?

Olaf walked into the room.

Olaf: I found coffee. You can go find the thing, I'll stay here.

Esmé stood up.

Esmé: yes!

She left the room.

Olaf sat down where Esmé was before.

Olaf: so.. hows it going.

Violet glared at him.

Isa: still waiting on that mother you promised me.

Olaf: it's not like I know where she is! If I knew where she was I would have pushed you to her by now!

Klaus: we are trying to find Violet and Isabelle...

Kit: he has her still?

Klaus: yeah..

Kit: and they are here?

Klaus: yes, we need to find them, can you help?

Kit put something in her bag.

Kit: I have what I need, I'm afraid that I cant stay.. although I would like to find my daughter, I need to get this to VFD headquarters.

Klaus: what about this?

Klaus took The Snicket File out of his pocket.

Klaus: Jaques said in here that one of our parents could be alive.

Kit: I hope he is right.. do you know where he is?

Klaus: I'm afraid he is dead..

Kit: oh..

Klaus: and we are being blamed for it by Olaf.

Kit: I'm so sorry to hear that.. I wish I could help you.. but I'm not sure how.

Klaus: cant you talk to him? You were once a couple, you could be one again, just tell him to be good!

Kit: klaus, that's not how life works. You can't force someone to be with you when you want different things.. and people aren't either noble or wicked. They're like chef salads, with good and bad things mixed together..I have to go, do you think you can handle yourself? I know you can.

Klaus: you do?

Kit: I can tell you care about Isabelle, go save her and your sister. I'll see you soon.

Kit smiled at him and sunny, and they left the room, leaving her mother.
