My Sunshine

Alhaitham's POV

Walking back to the lounge with mugs of warm milk and cinnamon in one hand and towels in the other. I spot Kaveh asleep on the couch.

"He must be really exhausted from today, with our argument and trying to kill himself". I mutter to myself, "well he can't fall asleep wet, otherwise he might catch a cold or even worse the flu."

I set down the mugs and towels on the table and gently shake Kaveh awake.

"Kaveh... Kaaavehhhh.... You can't fall asleep while your still wet." I gently say into Kaveh's ear.

No response.

Thinking to myself, "ahhhh... Guess I'll have to try something different".

"Wake up... My Sunshine....".As soon as the words escape my mouth Kaveh starts to stir and wake up.

"Sunshine?" Kaveh asks sleepily.

"That's you Kaveh... My Sunshine."

Kaveh starts to blush a bright red at my words.

"Here use this towel, your soaking wet. I don't want you to catch a cold Sunshine", I teasingly say to Kaveh as I pass him one of the towels on the table.

Kaveh blushes even harder as I pass him the towel.

"It's fun to tease him, I should do this more often", I think to myself as a small smile creeps onto my face.

"W-what're you smiling about 'Haitham?" Kaveh asks still flustered from my previous words.

"Just about how fun it is to tease you... Sunshine."

"Gah! Don't tease me 'Haitham!!" Kaveh says as he turns away and starts drying his hair.

"But I like too..." I say as a warmer smile forms on my face.

I lean over to Kaveh, looking at the edges of his lips to the fluffy tips of his hair. Back and forth, back and forth.

I continue to lean over to an unsuspecting Kaveh, who is still drying his fluffy hair.

I place the tips of my fingers under Kaveh's chin and move his face to look straight at me.

"What're you doing 'Haitham?" Kaveh says confused by my actions.

He looks so soft and cute with his hair all fluffed up from being messed around while being dried. His eyes are the colour of rubies, glowing and bright. Kaveh looks beautiful. I can't hold myself back any longer.

"I love you so much Kaveh." I say as I start to lean closer to Kaveh.

Closer and closer I move my face to his, until we're just centimeters apart.

I stop and cup his cheeks with my hands.I look at his lips once again and up to his eyes.

Kaveh; getting the message of me moving closer and cupping his face, moves his own face closer (my arms moving with his face) to mine and connects out mouths before I can do anything.

I'm surprised a little that Kaveh is the one to make the first kiss, but soon my surprise turns to pure joy as I close my eyes and enjoy the kiss.

It is a soft and gentle kiss, but filled with passion and love for one another.

Kaveh's lips against mine feel amazing and so warm.

They're so soft and smooth. No bumps or unwelcome cracks to be found.

After a few seconds we separate and look at one another. Eyes filled with love and joy staring at each other.

Suddenly Kaveh starts to wrinkle his nose and tightly shut his eyes.

"Ah- ah- atchoo!!" Kaveh sneezes right in my face ruining in the moment.

"Ah! Sorry 'Haitham!!" Kaveh says frantically.

"It's okay Kaveh. I should have seen it coming with the way you were scrunching up your face." I say reassuringly, "I'm gonna go get a blanket for you, okay?"

"Okay." Kaveh replies.

Then I walk away and behind a wall down the hallway.

As soon as I'm out of Kaveh's possible line of sight, I put my back against the wall and sink down to the ground covering my face with my hands.

I am blushing a fluorescent pink.

"I did it! I just kissed Kaveh!! I can't believe it actually happened!!" I scream to myself inside my head.

If you walked in on me right then and there, you wouldn't have thought that I was the Acting Grand Sage Alhaitham if you didn't know me. I look like a highschool girl having a meltdown over making eye contact with her crush.

I feel like jelly, as if I could melt right then and there!___________________________________________

Kaveh's POV

"OH MY GOSH!!! I just kissed Alhaitham! The Acting Grand Sage of the Akademiya! My Housemate! Alhaitham! Did that really happen? Am I dreaming? If this is a dream I don't ever want to wake up!" I squeal to myself in my head. By this time I am blushing mess on the couch unsure of what to do with myself.

"Wait a minute... Alhaitham's been gone a while... Is he okay? Oh no, what if he's feeling sick too?! No no, Alhaitham has never gotten sick. I'm sure he's just carefully choosing which blanket is best for keeping me warm.__________________________________________

Alhaitham's POV

After a good 2 minutes of ✨Gay Panic✨ time I stood up and walked over to the linen cabinet at the end of the hall where I also got the towels from.

I grabbed a large blue fluffy blanket that you could easily wrap two grown men in.

I slowly walked back to the lounge room as I was still having after effects of my little gay panic.

I decide to scare Kaveh a little to cheer him up.

I sneak quietly up behind Kaveh blanket in my hands and unfolded, ready to thrown of my lovers head.

I quickly jump up behind the unsuspecting blonde and throw the blanket over his head while shouting "Boo!"

"Ahhhh!!!!" Alhaitham why would you do that?!" Kaveh yells at me playfully.

"Because I thought it would cheer you up!"

"You already cheered me up when you kissed me 'Haitham."

"Oh yeah, whoops. Oh well you're all in one piece, so I'd say I did a pretty good job!" I say sarcasticly.

"Ha. Ha. Very funny big guy. Now come here I want cuddles!" Kaveh says whilst patting the space next to him and sorting out the blanket so that it laid over his legs and chest.

"Okay, I'm coming Sunshine. Be patient." I sigh happily.

I walk around the back of the couch to the front.

Kaveh looks up and gives me a cute smile.

I pick him up from the couch earning myself a little "hey!" from the blonde haired architect.

I then set his feet on the ground, making him take the blanket with him off the couch.

I sit my butt down a little from the corner between the arm and the back of the couch.

I put my legs up diagonally on the couch so that there was still room on the couch for Kaveh's legs, and lift one arm too rest on the arm of the couch making a little spot next to me for Kaveh to sit in.

I then pat the spot next to me gesturing for Kaveh to sit next to me.

He gladly takes the offer, drops his blanket and sits himself down, right next to me and puts his legs up on the couch.

He grabs the blanket he dropped on the floor and drapes it over both our legs and pulls it up so that it's up to his shoulders and my chest.

Then he scoots a little closer to me and turns over resting his hands on my chest, so that he's completely comfortable on resting on me.

I softly move my arm that is resting on the arm of the couch to around Kaveh's waist, so that I can hug him properly while we cuddle.

I don't think we'll be leaving this spot for the rest of the night.

I am already pretty tired and so was Kaveh.

It is around 8:00pm at night on a Friday which is quite early for our usual Friday night bedtime.

"Goodnight My Sunshine."

"Goodnight Love." Kaveh says sleepily already starting to close his eyes.

A light blush appears on my face from the pet name, but it quickly fades as I give Kaveh a kiss on the top of his head and close my own eyes.
