The Argument

Alhaitham's POV:

~= Flashback=~

"ALHAITHAM! HOW COULD YOU! YOU SPILT YOUR DAMN COFFEE ON MY HARD WORK! DAMN IT! DAMN YOU ALHAITHAM!" Kaveh yelled, his face going slightly red from the volume he made his voice.

It always pissed me off when Kaveh gets angry, so now I was angry too.

"Well, it's your fault for leaving your stuff lying around every where!" I raised my voice slightly so that Kaveh knew that I was angry too.

"my fault!? MY FAULT!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? YOU THINK THIS IS "MY" FAULT!? YOU MOVED YOUR GOD DAMN FEET, AND KICKED YOUR COFFEE ONTO MY HARD WORK!!"

I couldn't hold my anger in Kaveh just pissed me off too much.

"HARDWORK!? YOU CALL THAT HARDWORK!? IT'S JUST A BUNCH OF SCRIBBLES OF HOUSES AND OTHER SHIT!" I shouted back at Kaveh while pointing down at his work.

At this point both us were standing up, and had put our previous activities down, I knew this was going to be a big fight, I just didn't know how big it was going to be. Both of us were furious at the other, neither of us had any control over our actions.

"SCRIBBLES!? SCRIBBLES!?? YOU CALL THOSE SCRIBBLES!? I WORKED REALLY HARD ON THOSE!! I SPENT HOURS ON THAT SKETCH PAD JUST FOR YOU TO GO AND RUIN IT WITH YOUR FREAKING COFFEE!! THEN INSULT ME BY CALLING THEM SCRIBBLES AND SHIT!!" Kaveh screamed, these words at the top of his lungs, tears starting to form at the edges of his eyes, but not daring to spill.

"YEAH! THEY ARE SCRIBBLES!! COMPARED TO MY WORK AS THE ACTING GRAND SAGE, YOUR WORK MEANS NOTHING!! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!! YOUR WORK COULD BE REMADE BY A CHILD!!" These words left my mouth without me thinking. I knew that Kaveh's work was special and that he worked really hard on each piece, no one could replicate Kaveh's work, not even the best artists in all of Sumeru could, but I wasn't thinking, and I let my words slip.

"YOUR WORK IS HARD!! ALL YOU DO IS SIT AROUND ALL DAY SIGNING PAPERS AND TELLING PEOPLE WHAT TO DO!! I BET YOU HAVEN'T EVER WORKED OVER TIME ON YOUR STUPID JOB!!" Kaveh knew what my job did for the people of Sumeru, but he was too angry to know that in the moment of the argument.

I was tired of Kaveh's shouting and complaining he was just making things too complicated going back and forth between insulting each others jobs. It was too late in the day to be having this kind of argument, I pinched the bridge of my nose and closed my eyes in an annoyed manner.

"Will you stop making things complicated, Kaveh!?" I said in an attempt to calm myself and Kaveh down.

All Kaveh did was stand there with the most offended and angry expression on his face.

"Oh! So now I'm the PROBLEM!? Kaveh said shouting back again.

Seriously!? He just won't calm down. I've had it with him!

Yes! YOU are THE PROBLEM!!" I yelled back as I pointed straight at Kaveh.

Kaveh's face changed into a shocked look, but quickly returned to look absolutely furious. "What!?" he shouted.

Kaveh moved forward and grabbed the collar of my shirt, tears spiking his eyes once more.

"Yeah, you heard me right! You are always the problem!!" I yelled at him, and then before I could think I said something I could never take back. Ever.

"You were probably the reason you Father died!!"

Kaveh's eyes widened in shock, and tears started falling from his eyes and streamed down his face.  "It's all my fault..." Kaveh said shakily. His hands weakened their grip on my collar and fell to his sides. 

Kaveh was still staring at me in shock, his eyes wide and his mouth slightly open. More and more tears fell from his eyes and hit the floor.

"It's all my fault..." he repeated.

I was still furious at Kaveh, so furious I had not yet realised what I had said or done.

I walked out my house and slammed the door with a loud bang that echoed through out the street.

~= End of Flashback =~

"And yeah... that's basically what happened." I said as I finished my story. 

Tighnari just looked at me shocked. 

"You actually said that!?" Tighnari said, with a bit of a raised voice.

"Yes...?" I replied, questioning why he was asking when I just told him.

He slammed his coffee down on the kitchen island, and looking at me with an angry and shocked expression.

"You have to apologize to Kaveh!! He's probably going mad right now, and blaming himself for every little problem he can think of!" the green eyed ranger said, still keeping his voice raised.

"Why? He'll be fine. He always bounces back from our arguments." I said, still unaware of my words.

"You said it was probably his fault his father died!! He now probably thinks that it is his fault!" Tighnari sounded really panicked.

Then it hit me like a boulder, the realization of what I had actually said to Kaveh! I told him that is was probably his fault that his father died!! 

"Oh no... Oh no no no no no......  This is bad! This is really bad!! I've f*cked up!! I've f*cked up so so badly!! I have to go Tighnari! Thankyou for the coffee!" I yelled behind me as I ran out the door.

Tighnari's POV:

Alhaitham quickly jumped out of his seat, and nearly dropped his mug as the realization hit him.

"Oh no... Oh no no no no no...... This is bad! This is really bad!! I've f*cked up!! I've f*cked up so so badly!! I have to go Tighnari! Thankyou for the coffee!" Alhaitham yelled behind him as he ran out the door, and into the rain. 

Then suddenly Cyno woke up from his nap and propped himself up onto his feet and walked over to me. He kissed me on the forehead, and then said:

"Was that Alhaitham running out the door? He looked like he was in a hurry." Cyno said completely oblivious of the current situation.

"Yeah, he is in quite a hurry. He messed up really bad in an argument with Kaveh." I said to Cyno, who was leaning over my shoulder, still waking up from his nap.

"Ahhh.... that doesn't sound like Alhaitham to mess up in an argument. Especially not with Kaveh. What did he do anyways?" Cyno asked still half asleep.

" He told Kaveh that it was his fault his father died..." I said in a concerned voice, looking over to Cyno who was now completely awake.

"He actually said that?? Wow, he really f*cked up this time. Let's hope Kaveh doesn't do anything crazy, like try and kill himself..." Cyno said, now finally awake and alert.

"Yeah, let's hope..." I said still concerned for my friends.
