Chapter 14

04:51, 18 February 2020

Tinsley woke the next morning at 6:45. She had to be at the garage at 8. She was still lying on Jax and her knees were killing her. She passed out straddling him and hadn't moved all night. She nuzzled his chest just taking in the sent of him. Who knew tobacco and leather could be such a heady combination? Her slight movement caused Jax to stir.

"Good morning beautiful" said Jax.

"Good morning" said Tinsley.

"Sleep good? Asked Jax

"Yea, sorry I passed out. I must have been exhausted." Said Tinsley

"You won't hear me complain" said Jax. Just then, Tinsley felt his dick twitch and realized he was still inside her.

"You were in me all night?" Asked Tinsley.

"Yea, best night of no sleep in my entire life" said Jax. To prove his point, he made his dick twich again. He was rising to the occasion and Tinsley wasn't about to complain either.. Rolling her to her back, he started to make love to her slowly and tenderly. They both avoided kissing each other because we all know morning breath can be killer. The no kissing aside though, Tinsley could get used to this type of wake up call. It beat any alarm that was ever created.

After their morning love making, Jax and Tinsley jumped in the shower and cleaned up. They made quick work of it and made sure to not touch each other or they were going to be late. Jax threw on the same clothes he had on the day before and headed out to the living room while Tinsley got dressed. She found her lime green thong and matching bra, slid on a pair of denim cut off shorts and found her line green T-shirt. She slipped it over her head and tucked the front into her shorts. She found her flip flops and went in search of Jax.

She found him in the kitchen, making them each a travel mug of coffee.

"How do you want yours?" Asked Jax.

"2 sugars and 3 teaspoons of creamer." Said Tinsley. She liked flavored coffee and the sweeter the better.

Jax fixes her mug and handed it to her. She noticed he liked his with lots of sugar.

Grabbing her purse, they walked out the door and headed to his bike. They headed straight to TM. When they pulled into the lot, he parked his bike in its usual spot behind Clay's.

"Watch how you get off. Don't want you to burn your leg on the exhaust." Said Jax.

Tinsley was extra careful getting off the bike. Once she was off, she unbuckled her helmet and laid it on the seat of Jax's bike.

"I should really head to the office. Don't want to make the boss lady mad" said Tinsley.

Jax kisses her and went towards the club house while she went towards the office. Gemma was already in the office.

"Hey Gemma." Said Tinsley

"Hey baby" said Gemma.

"Where do you want me to start?" Asked Tinsley.

"Actually, I heard about the lasagna dinner you cooked last night. It's all the guys could talk about this morning. The whole damn bunch of acted as though they had never eaten lasagna before in their lives. Would you consider cooking breakfast for the guys. It's pretty slow around here and I'm not going to see Abel until later" said Gemma.

"Yea, sure, whatever you need. If there stuff in the fridge or do you need me to go down to the grocery store get some stuff?" Asked Tinsley.

"There may be some stuff in there already. Check out the stock and see if anything appeals to you. If you need anything, take my car and get what you need." Said Gemma.

"Ok." Said Tinsley.

She headed off towards the club house, peeping in the shop as she went. Jax must have changed clothes while he was in the club house. Jax was under the hood of a car working. She could look at him like that all day long. He caught sight of her heading towards the club house and blew her a kiss but kept on working. Once in the club house, she went to the kitchen and checked the fridge. She wasn't sure what everyone liked so she decided to play it safe and make pancakes and sausage and fresh fruit. She had everything she needed but the fruit. She walked back to the office and told Gemma she what she needed. Gemma tossed her the keys to her Cadillac and have her some cash to buy it with.

Once Tinsley was at the grocery store, she realized just how hungry she was. She guessed she burned off all her carbs with last nights extracurricular activities. She walked to the produce section and grabbed a pineapple, strawberries, mangos, kiwis, and grapes. She noticed the blueberries were on sale so she grabbed a couple pounds. She figured she could make some homemade blueberry syrup to go with the pancakes. She cruised the isles making sure she didn't need anything else. She realized she needed creamer for her coffee so she grabbed a big container of the International Delight brand that tasted like vanilla ice cream.

As she was waiting in line, there was a lady in front of her who was having to put items back because she couldn't afford them. Tinsley felt bad for the lady because she knew how she felt. She knew how embarrassing it had to be for her to admit that she couldn't pay for the things she had brought to the counter. A short while later, Tinsley was at the check out. She told the cashier to put the items the lady had put back and ring them up with her stuff but to ring it up separately with the coffee creamer.

After paying, she headed out to the parking lot and saw the lady loading her things in her car.

"Excuse me ma'am." Said Tinsley.

"Yes, can I help you" said the lady.

"I'm Tinsley Andrews. I noticed you had to put some things back and I just felt like it was the right thing to do to get them for you. Please don't take this the wrong way. I just wanted to help." Said Tinsley.

"I don't need any handouts" said the lady, kind of rudely.

"It's not a hand out. I genuinely want to help." Said Tinsley.

"Why are you helping me? I don't know you and you don't know me" said the lady.

"I'm not from here as I'm pretty sure you can tell just but the accent. Where I come from, when we see someone struggling, we do what we can to help." Said Tinsley.

"Well, thanks I guess." Said the lady as she took the bags Tinsley was holding.

"You're welcome. Have a great day" said Tinsley.

"You too" said the lady.

Tinsley walked back to Gemma's car and loaded her bags in the trunk and headed back to TM.

When she got back the garage, she took Gemma her keys and then headed for the club house. Once she was inside, she started cooking the blueberries to make the syrup. As it began to cook, she started chopping all fruit and mixed it all together in a big bowl and placed it in the fridge to chill. Next, she started the sausage. As the sausage cooked, she found an emulsifier and blended the blueberries and strained off all the pulp, making sure it was perfect. Once the sausage was done, she placed it on a pan in the over to keep it warm. Then she started on the pancakes and made 3 pots of coffee. As the pancakes got done, she placed them onto the pan with the sausage. When everything was done, she put it all on serving platters and placed it on the bar in the main room of the club house. Everything was set out and ready when she called over to the office to let Gemma know it was time to eat.

Gemma wrangled up all the guys and brought them inside. They all fixed plates and settled down to eat.

"Your really outdid yourself here" said Gemma.

"It's nothing really" said Tinsley, a little embarrassed about the attention.

"It May be nothing to you but it's delicious. You should really start a restaurant. I'm sure the place would be packed every day" said Gemma.

"Well, that's kinda my dream. I want to open a bakery. I love baking more that just cooking. I was telling Jax the other day that I noticed the building across the street was vacant. That's why I needed the extra job. To try and save up some money to at least rent the space. Maybe even buy it one day once the bakery is up and running" explained Tinsley.

"That's sounds wonderful sweetie but my guys would never get any work don't because the would be over at your place" said Gemma jokingly.

"Thanks. Like I said, it's just a dream right now because I can't afford to rent the space and come up with the money needed up front to get started. I just hope no one rents the space before I get my shit together." Said Tinsley.

"You will get there hun. Just keep working towards your dreams and you will find that anything is possible." Said Gemma.

"Hey mom, can I have my girl back now?" Asked Jax as he walked over to where Gemma and Tinsley were talking.

"She was just telling me about her dreams of owning a bakery one day. If her cakes and pies and all taste as good as this breakfast, she'll be the next big thing. Although, she's kind of showing me up on the cooking front." said Gemma.

"Mom, you know you're a good cook." Said Jax.

"Thanks baby. Now eat... I've got some work to do. Have Bobby call some of the crow eaters in to clean this mess up. The cook should never have to do the dishes" said Gemma.

"You got it" said Jax.

Jax and Tinsley sat down and enjoyed their breakfast. Once everyone was done eating, Tinsley headed for the office to see if she could help Gemma with anything.

"Come on in sweetheart" said Gemma.

Tinsley walked into the office and sat down on the couch.

"So, You have done amazing here in the office the past couple of days. Honestly, it's never been this organized and clean before. It's nice to be able to put my hands on something and not have to shuffle through a ton of papers. What I'm trying to say is that you've got the job from now until you get that bakery open. And I know you will get it open. I have faith in you. I'm gonna start you out at $13 and hour and go from there. I know you'll still be working at the diner some and I know you said you have already talked about taking the evening shifts there. I'll need you here Monday through Friday 8-4. If at any point you need time off or things get to be too much with working two jobs, let me know." Said Gemma.

"Oh my gosh Gemma, that's too much. I can't possibly take that much per hour just to file papers and answer the phone." Said Tinsley.

"Consider it my way of helping you get to where you need to be. I mean it Tinsley, you have a gift and all of Charming should know it." Said Gemma.

"Thank you! Thank you so very much Gemma. Thank you for having faith in me. Thank you for giving me this opportunity. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you" said Tinsley, as tears filled her eyes.

"Oh don't cry sweetheart" said Gemma as she walked over to the couch and hugged Tinsley.

"It means the world to me Gemma. When I moved here from North Carolina, the only work I could find was at the diner or at Cara Cara. I'm not a porn star by anyone's definition and to be honest, I hate waitressing. But, until I can do something different, it's what I need to do." Said Tinsley.

"You got this sweetie" said Gemma. And just like that, Gemma got up and walked out of the office and into the garage. She got into her car and left the lot. Tinsley was left to her own thoughts. She could hardly believe how things working out for her. She had been given this great opportunity to make some decent money, she had a man in her life that gave her butterflies, and she was happier than she could ever really remember being.

The office phone ringing brought her out of her thoughts. She answered the phone and scheduled the appointment the customer was needing. The rest of her day at TM went by too fast and before she knew it, it was 4.

She went in search of Jax and found him sitting in the club house talking to Clay. Whatever they were talking about just have been private because when she walked into the club house, they stopped talked. She figured it must be some sort of club business. She was still trying to wrap her head around the things Jax had told her early this morning. She walked over to Jax, kissing him on the lips and running her fingers through his hair.

"Hey" said Jax.

"Hey" said.

"What's up? Asked Jax.

"Nothing, just wanted to see you before I headed to my house to change my shoes. I forgot to grab my sneakers before leaving this morning and Mr. Miles won't let us work in flip flops." Said Tinsley.

"I can give you a ride to your house" said Jax.

"Jax, you're working. It's really not a big deal. I can walk to my apartment. I just wanted to say bye before I left." Said Tinsley.

"We're not too busy. Give the woman a ride Jax" said Clay. He clearly wasn't one to be argued with so she agreed. Tinsley and Jax loaded up in the tow truck and headed to her house. She had extra time now that she didn't have walk.

"Why Don't you have a car?" Asked Jax.

"Just haven't been able to afford one" said Tinsley.

"Well, you really need a car. Walking to work in the rain and all can't be fun. Plus, I don't like the fact that you were walking to the dinner at 4 in the morning." Said Jax.

"It's really not that bad. It's kind of peaceful actually. Plus, it helps me burn those calories I consume while at the diner. And, I won't be walking at 4 in the morning now that I have this job." Said Tinsley.

"I think we're doing enough to burn those calories and then some" said Jax, winking at her.

"Well I don't have to ask where your mind is do I?" Asked Tinsley.

"It's in the same place it was since the first day I laid eyes on you" said Jax.
