Chapter 7

Abi's POV

A few weeks pass and things are looking good. Well for Liam that is. I never leave him alone for long. But I never swamp him. I'm there when he needs me. Its 08:30am and I'm lying in bed listening to music.

I didn't sleep well last night. Liam had a nightmare and woke me up at 03:10 this morning asking if I would sit by him till he falls asleep. So that's what I did. I told the guys of my depression.

They took it well I guess. Except Liam. He started crying and I comforted him. Telling him I'm fine. So these past weeks we have been there for each other. He's been my rock. And well for Niall.

We don't have moments anymore. I heard a knock on my door.

"Come on in" I smile when I see Liam's messed up hair. I pat the spot next to me and he sat there.

"We have news, Simon called" Simon.

Boy what now. I nod.

"We are going to spend 2 weeks at Simons holiday house for a little vacation." I nod. There's something fishy going on of Simon wants us out.

"That's cool, where is it?" Like I care.

"On an private island" my eyes widen. WOW.

Private Island? For two weeks? Just what I need as well as Liam. I smile and run my hand through his hair messing it up more. He grab's my hand and sends me a glare.

"So is it just us 6?" Liam looks uncomfortable.

He fidgets with his pants. I raise my eyebrows at him.

"Well, no" okays.

"Who's coming with?" He looks everywhere but me.

"Niall's girlfriend" he whispers. Right his girlfriend.

That's nice. I didn't even know about that. Not that I care in any case. Then why does it hurt?

"Right that's cool." He looks at me and I send him a forced smile. He sends me a small smile back.

"when are we leaving?" I ask.

"today at 12:00 if that's okay" I nod trying to get the pain under control.

He smiles at me.

"I know you like him Abi. Don't deny it" I look down and nod fighting the tears.

"Yeah, but we both know its not going to work either way, the depression, everything, its just not going to work."

He nods.

"True but once your healed it can" I doubt it.

"No, I can't Liam. I can't just tell him and then ask him to wait. It doesn't work that way. We both know it. It won't word, ever" by this time I am crying.

He holds me. Until I hear my door open up again. I look up to find Niall's blue eyes.

"Morning you too, hey you okay Abi" he says noticing the tears. I just shake my head and wipe the tears away and squaring my shoulders.

"Nothing. Hey" damn him! I can't actually be angry with him. I have no reason.

Well no reason he knows about. Liam takes my hand a gave it a squeeze. Niall looks at me and then at Liam.

"You told her?" Liam nods and gets up letting go of my hand.

"Abi pack your things and let get this show on the road" Liam said.

He leans over and wipe's a stray tear on my cheek.

"And don't go crying again. Its not worth your precious tears." I smile at him and place a kiss on his forehead. "Thank you" I whisper loud enough for Niall to hear.

Liam walks to the door and then touches Niall shoulders.

"Let's go man" Niall nods and turns to leave. I sigh and begin packing my Ipod and clothes and school books.

I am home schooling which is what I wanted. All I know is that this is going to be one long vacation with a lot of action.

Niall's POV.

I walk behind Liam wondering what's going on between him and Abi.

"Liam uhm. Is everything okay? You know with Abi?" He sighs and shakes his head.

"No. She's going through some stuff right now. Just don't put pressure on her okay. And no me and Abi aren't dating." He answered the unasked question.

He's no fool. I nod and we continue walking in silence. Just as we were about to enter the lounge he stopped.

"Just so you know. Abi really cares about you. If you have feelings for her as I know you do.

Don't hurt her, she had enough on her plate as it is." he then turned and walked into the lounge and I just stand there.

Man what am I going to do. She cares about me???? What's that suppose to mean?

Abi's POV

We are currently on the boat on the way to the Island. I heard its beautiful. I met Niall's girlfriend. She is beautiful. She has black hair and the greenest eyes I ever saw.

Her face is flawless and her body was fit as Niall would say. I can't compare even in the slightest. He looks happy with her but the only problem is she's too clingy but I mean that's nothing. Liam was sitting next to me. I looked at him.

He sends me a smile. I smile and leaned my head against his shoulder, and I stare out at the water glinting in the afternoon sun. Harry shouts from his place on the deck and points in the west. We all look and see land coming.

I then stood up and threw my T-shirt off. Of course I have a swimming costume on. All the guys look at me as I take of my shorts revealing myself in my black and pink bikini. I laugh at Zayn and Liam's expressions.

They stand there with their mouths open.

"Abi no! Don't its to far!" I hear Harry shout but I ignore him. I have to get of this stupid boat. Jump of the side and into the deep blue sea. The water was nice and cool.

I start to swim in the direction of the Island. I swim slowly. Enjoying the water and the pretty fishes. Its true what he said. It was kinda far but its what I needed to clear my head. I was almost at the shore when Harry came running into the water.

Damn it. He reached me and gave me a big hug.

"Never do that again Abi!! Never" I sigh and push him into the water. I laugh.

"I'm going to get you back" I laugh and start swimming away.

"Only if you can catch me." I swam to the shore and then went to lay on the warm sand. It felt so good.

Someone poked me. I open my eyes to meet the blue ones of the one and only Niall. Great what now. I sigh.

"What's it?" I ask. He sits next to me.

"Why did you do that, you could have drowned Abi" I sit up and glared at him.

"What's it to you huh? You couldn't care less. You have your perfect girlfriend so what does it matter what happens to me. So why?. You know what nevermind."

I say standing up and walked back to the house. When I stepped in the house I stood there. Wow the house is gorgeous! I ran up to Harry and tackled him from behind. He laughed and took my hand and led me to my room. WOW like literally WOW.

The room is HUGE and absolutely beautiful! The windows face the sea as well as the forest. I must remember to go hiking. I turn around to find Harry left. I unpack my stuff and then Liam came into my room.

We decide to sit next to my window in silence. I then decided to lay with my head in his lap. He traces my face lightly and I close my eyes. Before I fell asleep Liam said.

"You know, I'm going to make it all alright. You'll see. I love you. Your special." I smile and then let myself fall under.

Thinking that I loved him to. He's my best friend.
