Chapter 10 | Thank You

A ping had came from AJs phone. She looked at it confused.

She went to her window opening the shaft.

The motley haired girl was literally flapping her wings and basically floating in front of her window. The blonde raised a brow. "What are you?" Her face was not as confused as she sounded but she let the girl crawl through. "You know , there's a door right?" She sat down on her bed and patted the spot beside her while clicking the lamp on. "Yeah but that wouldn't be as cool." RD countered and put her bag down.

She  carefully sat and noticed how close she was with AJ but she wanted to be close to her. She felt safe. She had told her mom she was going to go to AJs so Windy knew where she was. Her eyes shimmered as they connected with the others.

AJs hand gently went to the girls arm, she observed it and her slightly happy smile, turned to a sad one. She tried to comfort her and looked at Rainbow, the girl was Vulnerable again, it amazed AJ how she could be in such a state. She seemed to pause when Rainbow was staring at her. "Yes?"

RDs face heated up she looked away before answering. "N-nothing." Which AJ caught on easily and chuckled. "Is there something on my face?" She asked RD "I was baking earlier, maybe I missed a spot." the girl shook her head. She then turned back to the blonde whose eyes were soft in the soft light. She melted her Magenta ones meeting Emerald.

See Rainbow has always liked girls, no guy has ever strike her interest. And never had she ever met someone to love her like she wanted, or needed. All the guys at school would hit on her but it never affected her, she's always found girls more pleasing to see and beautiful and well lovely. She also noticed no one has never felt tender and care from someone who made her feel happy and safe.

AJ made her feel happy and safe.

It was now Saturday, the girls had woken up, well actually Apple Jack had, Rainbow Dash stayed in bed, AJ decided to let the girl sleep in and have time to herself, she needed the rest clearly and AJ felt it would be better for the girl. She was in the kitchen scrambling eggs as her big brother came in.

"Mornin' Big Mac."

"Mornin.." he replied with a smile, he went to sit as Apple Bloom seemed to appear out of no where. "Hi big brother. Having a great day?"

"Oh my Apple Bloom it's not even after twelve and your already asking if we having a good day?"

"Eh yup." Replied Big McIntosh easily, he looked at the red head and smiled. "Great Morning." He watched as AJ placed the plates on the table as Granny stayed in her Rocker and the Rooster Crowed out for the 5th time this morning.  Apple Jack sat down and they all nodded to each other, "Dig in."

Soon noon came around and AJ made it up to her room after her usual morning chores, wiping sweat from her head she entered her room to see RD sitting on the bed dressed in some regular old clothes. RD looked up to see her friend sweaty and dirty. "Oh god, did you get trampled?" She teased at her, Thier was dirt all over the girls clothes and face.

"Nope , but my dog sure did jump on me." She dusted at her flannel shirt. Looking to the girl on her  bed. "You doing alright?" She sat across from the girl in her chair. "I'm doing better than last night, I just feel a bit bad." She started "Like what did I do to cause such hatred in one single household?"

Apple Jack looked at her and scooted the chair closer then reached her hand out to take her dear friends. "Now now don't talk like that. You're an amazing person Rainbow." She gave a soft smile her rough hands from todays work holding the girls softer ones. RD returned a soft smile believing her friend ever so easily. "Wow you really know how to calm a girl down." She stated her fingers intertwined with Apple Jacks which the Blonde watched her heart beat skipped she felt that confused feeling again and she didn't mind it.

"Well someone has to settle you down." She reply then looked at RDs eyes, they were so beautiful. Her face tinted as Rainbow smiled. "Yeah?"The Cowgirl nodded. "Have you ever thought of it?"

"Thought of what?"

"Settlin' down one day."

"AJ I'm still in high school, I don't think I'm to the point of that yet."She giggled before feeling her impulse take control she leaned forward and kissed the girls' cheek , before she knew it her own face tinted and she got up. "I-umm , thanks for everything.. I told pinkie I would help decorate for the party." She grabbed her bag as AJ stayed there confused. "Huh?"

"I said I'm going to help Pinkie Pie." She smiled flustered but not as flustered as her friend, she was amazed AJ wasn't freaking out, it hinted at either she was in shock or she liked it."See you later AJ!" The girl used her quick speed right out of there.

"You did huh?!" Pinkie chimed to Rainbow Dash , it was almost time for visitors to come and they already had most the decorations and Vinyl Scratch had sat up, they sat and listened to the conversation themself.

"It was a thank you-." RD replied as Pinkie basically freaked out. "Yeahhh but that's not how you thank your best friend Dashieeee! Like if I was to go up to you over something and gave you a kiss-." She was cut off.

"It was a peck on the cheek that's all."

Suddenly the girls was done and people had started to come into Pinkies house, the Rainbow Haired was slight flushed, the music started as a crowd filled the room.

"LETS GET THIS PARTY STAR-TED!!"
