Chapter 9 | Again

Rainbow was finished with helping Derpy with her homework and about to head to her room and tend to some of her own till she heard the slamming of a Car door, she stiffened knowing the slam wasn't a friendly one and that she should make sure to get on with homework.

She walked in her room closing the door and had her desk light on going on with some basic history which she sucked at but she was doing what she should be.

"Windy! I'm home!" The males voice called he closed the door which actually slammed shaking the house slightly, RD kept focused as she wrote down answered hopefully her dad was to tired to even start anything.

"Oh hello Honey." Windy said going to her husband and placing a kiss to his cheek she patted the recliner and she felt slight worry as his facial expression was just , not in a good mood. She went to the kitchen and started to heat up his plate."How was work?"

"Exhausting, can you believe they had me doing most of the damn work while the younger boys slacked off? I swear I hate slackers." He groaned and took the plate to eat, "Where's the girls?" He asked grumpily.

"I believe they're doing Thier homework." Windy replied and sat in her chair watching the tv. "Heh, they better be..cuz there's no lowlifes in this family." Windy turned to him. "Now Bow can you just not start? You just got home and pretty tired , maybe just go ahead and go to bed." Bow looked at her with a slight angered expression, "Don't tell me what I can and can not do in my own damn house." He got up and headed for the stairs which meant trouble.

Rainbow had finished the first few sheets of homework before hearing her dad stomp his way up the stairs. She turned around as her door opened. "Oh hey dad.." she said as the male looked at her, "What's up?" The girl asked her wings staying put and his face scared her, he came closer to see what she was doing. "Hmm?" Is all he said. "You should be done with all of this by now." He said "This is from Monday, because I remember you asking me for help." He huffed and Rainbow nodded, her dad was good at math problems, but he was to busy. "When was it suppose to be turn in?" He asked sharply his hand placing on top of the sheet with a harsh thud.

"T-Today." She said and felt regret as he yelled at her. "You'll never graduate if you don't turn in your work! What have you been doing? Slacking off trying to make me look bad? Are you really the kind of worthless child that wants to just go to parties and hang out with your friends?" He raised his fist shaking it. "Are you?"

"No! I'm trying daddy please understand."

"Understand.. Understand!? Rainbow Dash how can I understand if you don't do as told? You are throwing your life away."

"I'm trying to live my life!" She snapped back as the man before she knew it he grabbed the girls wrist about to strike her. "Bow! Stop!" He turned around and Windy stood there "You get away from my daughter Now!" Windy started to him and grabbed his shirt. "I swear I see one mark on her I'll be calling the police.

Rainbow sat her hand was holding her wrist, Bow stood there noticing her behavior, he must gotten so angry over this he had grabbed her with out even noticing. Windy looked at her daughter and to Bow. "Out! Get out of this house Bow HotHoof now!!"

The male growled "You can't kick me out of my own house!" He snapped before a stinging could be felt on his face, the sound of skin contacting skin. He put a hand to his face and stood there. "Get out.." Windys heart shattered before the man headed out. She turn to RD who was crying. "Let me see." She took the girls arm it was red, "Its ok, it will fade."She softly adjusted the girls hair. "I'm going to go check on Derpy." She placed a kiss on her daughter's forehead.

Sudden sound of a car could be heard and speeding off. Rainbow felt broken, the loose feathers shedded. Her head low as her phone pings.

She grabbed it and she thought she heard her mother's voice. "Yes, there's marks on my daughter's arm, I want him charged."

AJ Hadn't fallen asleep at all. So she decided to text RD.

AJ - 8:25 pmHey , would you like to come over tomorrow?

Rainbow stared at her phone before typing she seemed to pause every other minute. It got to where AJ wondered if she was upset or just trying to find a way to deny the offer.

Rainbow Dash - 8:26 pmYeah, are you going to the party Pinkies throwing?

The blonde lit up at the reply, but the. Thought of how to reply.

AJ - 8:26Yep

Yep? Yep?! Is that all she could really think to reply? She then notice the girl typing

Rainbow Dash- 8:27Ok we can meet there if you want?

AJ- 8:28 pm Alright then Sugar Cube.

Rainbow stared at the phone her face redden as she still cried. She was hesitant  , she looked at her arm and sighed. Why would anyone ever do this? She was doing the best she could, yes she ditched school a few days but that was  because of him. She picked up her phone again and started to type.

Within the few minutes of staring at her phone suddenly she noticed the girl typing again. Her eyes widen at the screen. Rainbow Dash- 8:30 pmSo.. My mom had to kick my dad out.. again..
