Chapter 50 ( short )

( On Outcast island )

Mistake tried to get a closer look at the dragon in the cell across from her's, but a shock of pain from her wound caused her to let a whine of pain, and she flop on her stomach on the ground, earning the small dragon's attention. The small dragon then walked out of the dark of its cell and walked into the light, revealing itself and it looked at the young Scalewalker with concern.

( A/n: This is the small dragon. What do you think about Mistake's possible new friend? )

The alpha speed stinger looked at Mistake with concern, as he knew by her scent that she wasn't an adult dragon. He then saw the wound on her shoulder, and he then looked at the lock on his cell and he then looked at his tail, then he had an idea.

Mistake lift her head and saw that the small dragon was using his tail to unlock his cell door and he opened the door with his head. He then walked to her cell, and used his stinger to unlock her cell door and he went inside. Mistake tried to back away from the dragon, but the movement caused her wound to give her a shock of pain, so she stayed where she was. The alpha speed stinger slowly approached her, and purred at her, asking her where her pack was.

Mistake: ( to the alpha speed stinger, confused, in dragon: ) What's a pack? I don't think I have one.

The alpha speed stinger then looked at her with a sad whine, before he went to Mistake's shoulder and gently licked her wound clean, making some of her pain go away. Once he finished cleaning the wound, the speed stinger sat down beside her with a serious growl, telling her that she's now apart of his pack.

Mistake looked at the small dragon with confusion, but she soon put her two side wings over him with a smile. When she heard someone coming in the prison and she quickly used her tail to quickly close her cell door without making a sound and used her side wings to hide the speed stinger as the soldiers and Savage looked at the empty cell.

Savage: It escaped!

Mistake roared gaining Savage's attention.

Savage: ( to Mistake: ) Where did he go, Mistake? Where he ran off to?

Mistake used her tail to point to the prison exit, causing Savage and the outcast soldiers to leave the prison. Once they left, Mistake uncovered her wings, and the alpha speed stinger purrs at her, thanking her for hiding him.

Mistake: ( to the alpha speed stinger, in dragon: ) We are friends?

The alpha speed stinger nods his head, making Mistake smile.

Mistake: ( to the alpha speed stinger, in dragon: ) What's name?

The alpha speed stinger purred in response, telling Mistake that his pack called him " Alpha ".

Mistake: ( weakly, with slight struggle as it was her first time not speaking dragon, her voice was raspy and quiet: ) A- A- Alpha. Alpha!

The alpha speed stinger, now known as " Alpha ", purrs in response and nuzzles Mistake's cheek. Mistake purred as she had found a new friend, and Alpha mentally made a promise to himself to protect her at all costs.
