"My house is right there! Literally that building!" I exclaim.

"If these men are still around, they are watching to see if you go there."

Oh right. Don't go home. I literally told myself that twenty minutes ago.

"Then take me somewhere else. I have the keys to 5 houses that I can go to. Or the SVU headquarters." I think about it for a second. "Wait, no, don't take me there."

"Your mother won't care if you snuck out if this had happened to you."

"How do you know so much about me? This is actually very creepy," I say cautiously.

"You're a spitting image of your mother."

"How do you know my mother?! Who are you?!" I'm starting to get very scared.

"You even yell at me like she used to, too."

"Seriously, who the hell are you?"

"I used to work with your mom. I was the first person contacted when you were conceived."

"Ew. Don't talk about that."

"You wanted to know," is all he says.

I see Munch's street right here. "Turn here. I know someone who lives on that street."

"Can't be too careful when it involves an attempt of rape. Have to give it enough time to where the police can find a couple of them. Or those men give up."

"Jesus Christ, he's an SVU cop! His name is John Munch. If he's home, I'll get help, if he's not, he has a phone that doesn't require me to charge it!"

"My plan is to drop you off in Queens where my children are. Your mom knows and loves all of them and definitely trusts them for your care," he says.

"So you can put all of your children in danger? Smart plan." I reach into my bag and pull out my flip flops. I exchange those with my heels.

"Or I could drop you offer the headquarters in that dress with all that hair and makeup."

"Keep driving please."

Jeez, I'm way too conceited. He chuckles and continues driving.

"I still never got your name," I mumble.

"My name's Elliot."

Why does that name ring a bell?

*Olivia's POV*

"I got her cell phone records. All calls to Ashley or you or Jordyn. And one from a week ago to someone named Logan," Amanda says in her analyzing voice. But I've never heard that name.

"Logan?"

All of the detectives hear the alarm in my voice.

"It's probably just someone in one of her classes, chill, Liv."

Suddenly, someone comes through the door. Two policemen.

"Olivia Benson?"

"Yes?" I ask, too eagerly. It's probably another case.

"We've got the whereabouts of your daughter, Eliana Benson."

The full name almost confuses me. She's always Ellie. I hear everyone get up behind me. She's Ellie to everyone else here, too.

"Where is she?"

"She was walking home, got stopped by some street thugs. A former SVU detective happened to be there and got her out of there. He's taking her to Queens."

"Queens?" is a murmur that rises from everyone's mouths.

"The police have managed to find and arrest 2 of the 5 who surrounded Eliana."

"Ellie!" I exclaim. She's my Ellie. Eliana was a name for the birth certificate.

"Ellie," he amends. "The officer has family living in Queens and that seemed the best place, since we didn't know where you were on the Laura and Hailey Mirona case."

"We solved it three hours ago! My daughter has been missing for who knows how long!"

"Her phone is dead. She was at a party with her friends. And was walking home. She is safe." He talks calmly, which I don't get while I'm shaking like a leaf.

"Who is she with? Whose party was this? When can I see her?"

"She was at the residence of a Mr.Logan Beckman..."

Logan.

"...She's on her way to the residence of a Kathy Stabler..."

Stabler.

"And you can head there now to retrieve her. As soon as we get your statement."

"Jeez. Ah, I came home around midnight and she was gone. I called Rollins who I guess called the rest of them. We went to Ashley - her friends house - to see if she was home since that's who she said she'd be with. We came here to track her cell usage since her phone wasn't on. You just came and told us the rest."

I guess that works enough for them because I'm with the two of them in a car on our way to queens.

*Ellie's POV*

"This is Kathy, and my son Dick, and my daughter Kathleen."

"H-Hi," I say to them. I shake their hands.

"Your mother has been contacted and is on her way. If you still want to change, the bathroom is right through there," Elliot tells me.

I nod. "Thank you. For everything."

"It was my job for about 13 years. And I knew most of those people you know now. Your mom, Cragen, Munch, Fin..."

I nod. But he used to be one of them?

I turn towards their bathroom, hearing conversation behind me.

"I better head out. Sorry to bother you guys again," he says to Kathy.

"Not a bother and you know it. And you should stay. Olivia will want to thank you personally."

I close the door.

Quickly, I strip out of my dress and throw on what I was wearing before: jeans and a baggy shirt. Everything goes in my bag and then I look at my face. I only had on powder and mascara tonight, but I wet my face and wipe it off anyways.

When I get out to the sitting area again, Elliot is gone.

"Would you like something to eat or drink?" Kathy asks.

"Um, water, please," I request.

"No problem."

Kathy gets up and returns with my glass of water.

"Thank you," I say quietly.

"You know," Kathleen says, "you look just like your mom."

"You guys knew her too?"

"She was partners with our dad. Of course we knew her. Actually, when our little brother, Eli, was born, your mom was driving her to her doctor's appointment when she went into labor."

"Fun," I comment.

"Oh, not so much. My labor was induced when we got hit by a drunk driver. Your mom saved both our lives."

"That's really cool."

"I never heard that story," Dick says.

"Well, you just did," jokes Kathy.

I smile, looking down, still worried about my mom.

"Hey," Kathleen says. "I got in my fair share of trouble when I was your age. And I would much rather have your mom to deal with than my dad."

I smile. "I just don't do anything bad. The worst thing I ever did was come home 5 minutes after curfew. And she isn't even home most of the time."

"Neither did I. He was super overprotective. And when I did anything bad, he went crazy."

"From what I've been told, she's more strict and uptight since I was born."

"Kids do that to you," Kathy says. I drink my water.

Not so long later, I hear a knock with a female yelling, "Police!" I know it's my mom. I feel the blood drain from my face.

Kathy runs to get the door, and then I hear the sound of a lot of footsteps. Oh god, did she bring the entire squad out here?

"Ellie!" Mom.

Her face comes into view, but only for a few seconds before she hugs me. I hug her back, since I'm so happy to see her instead of the inside of a van or something.

When she lets me go, I see Amanda and run to her next.

While my mom's busy scolding me, everyone else apparently wants a hug from me too. I stand between Fin and Munch while Mom continues to talk at me. Both of the detectives have a hand on my shoulder, and Munch squeezes my left as if to assure me its gonna be okay.

"Liv," Amanda interrupts. "Let's go. We can talk to her in the car.

There's like five cars. Two of which are cop cars. I'm shuffled into Amanda's car.

Mom gets in the passenger seat.

"See you tomorrow?" Nick asks before he shuts the door.

"If I don't have to kill her first," Mom replies.

"Take it easy on her, Benson. She's had a bad night, too."

I'd rather go to anyone's house except mine. All of my mother's fellow detective friends are the logical ones at this time.

It's a long, silent drive back to SVU headquarters so Mom can get her car.

When I get out of Amanda's car, I go out the driver's side so I can see my mom's best friend one last time for the night.

"Hey, Babydoll," she says to stop me. "It'll be okay. She's just scared. Call me if you need me. Anytime. I mean it."

"Okay," I say nervously. My door is already open for me in my mom's car.

I ride shotgun like usual, but I definitely don't want to be. I want to tuck and roll put and go home with Amanda. She's always the level headed one.
