That night olivia managed to get home a little early and Brenna was already dressed in a nice dress and Lucy had put her hair up for her. "Well don't you look beautiful my love." Olivia said.

"Thank you mama." Brenna smiled as she was sitting and watching the little mermaid.

Lucy smiled "she had a snack after elliot dropped her off and she was great today. I'll see you Monday olivia." Lucy said before heading out.

Olivia smiled and went to dress and get ready. After a bit she emerged in a nice red dress and heels with her hair and makeup done. She had finished just in time for a knock to come to the door.

Olivia answered the door while putting in her last earing and smiled at elliot standing there with a bouquet of red roses "oh El they are beautiful." She smiled.

Elliot chuckled "just like you." He smiled and seen Brenna walk over and said "and of course Brenna too." He continued.

"Thank you." Brenna smiled super excited for what was coming tonight.

"Are you ladies ready to head out?" Elliot asked.

"Yes just let me grab my purse." Olivia said heading in to the kitchen.

"Kept the secret right kiddo?" Elliot whispered to Brenna.

Brenna nodded "yep I promise."

Elliot held his hand out for olivia as she came back towards the door and she locked it before the 3 headed out.

They arrived 20 minutes later to Elliot and Olivia's favorite fancy Italian restaurant and headed inside. Elliot told them his reservation and they were led to a nice table with a beautiful street view of Central park.

"This is nicer then we usually do for a family dinner." Olivia remarked.

"Yes well I figured Brenna is old enough and mature enough to join us somewhere a bit nicer." Elliot replied touching Olivia's hand softly.

The 3 ordered thier food and laughed and talked as they ate. As the night began to wind down Elliot looked at olivia and said "look liv, we have been partners for so many years and friends for even longer. I was lost for those 4 years we were apart but I've been so much happier since you came back in to my life. Your my best friend, my partner and my beautiful girlfriend but now...." he paused and got to one knee "now I want to ask you to be my wife." He said and opened the ring box to reveal a large amethyst gem surrounded by vines with small opal gems surrounding it. Olivia noticed the gems right away cause they were hers and elliots birthstones and she put a hand over her mouth in shock as the proposal unfolded in front of her.

Brenna was sitting to the side looking extremely happy and clapped her hands from excitement a bit and whispered "say yes mama."

Olivia glanced at her daughter then back at elliot as she caught her breath that he had swept away. "Yes Elliot. I'll marry you."

Elliot slipped the ring on to her finger and smiled and then leaned in and kissed her hard and passionate on the lips.

Brenna cheered and several people in the restaurant clapped for the beautiful moment that happened before them.
