Marinette: Of course. I'm going to graduate from school just now and I want to promote myself and my business and take it to the next level. Only a few people made contact with me to make outfits for them but I'm thinking if I put myself out there, then more people would want to order.

Jason: You sound like Bruce.

Tim: But earlier today during the red carpet entrance, Lila said to the whole world that demon was her soulmate and hinted to them that she might be Nettie and MDC. That's not good. Who would want to be your soulmate?

Damian: I could ask you to do the same thing, Drake....

Dick: Anyways....I agree. She could turn the tables and make the situation and the entire party a failure.

Marinette: What do you think Ladybug and Cat Noir are for then? There are supers for a reason, no one better than you four knows that.

Jason: What about your brother? Marin was it...?

Marinette: He thought I was going on a date. So I left Maman to explain the situation to him.

Damian: What I don't get is why she has to film this entire thing. It's almost infuriating having a second shadow behind my back to add on to these fools.

And we're back, live from the annual banquet here in Paris. Look at the turn out viewers. There are a few surprises in store for you tonight. For example, the famous Nettie will be revealing herself along with her band mates Blue Viper and Drake-Fencer. That also seems to be the case of MDC, the now uprising fashion designer. Talking about fashion designers, Gabriel Agreste and his son, Adrien Agreste are both present here today. There's also Jagged Stone and his assistant Penny here with us, and his son, Luka Coffaine and his now honorary niece, Marinette Dupain-Cheng. There's also the Tsurugi family of fencers present with us. ~~~~~~~~~~

Nadja takes the camera around the room to show and give further details on the banquet. Bruce was over to a corner talking to Gabriel Agreste. *he's investigating*

Adrien was stuck with Lila during the whole banquet grabbing onto his arm as he introduces her to famous people. Lila couldn't help but fake smile and lie....

Luka and Kagami walked around the room, chatting and listening to the songs they and Marinette had came up with for the past year now.

The batboys and Marinette gossiped and talked about the songs she and her band mates had prepared for tonight. She even including a little detail on what she was planning for Lila once she had revealed herself. ~~~~~~~~~~

Later that night, Lila and Adrien made their way over to Marinette and the batboys. Marinette groaned and Damian rolled his eyes while his brothers just sighed.

Lila: Hello you six. You've been spending a lot of time together...Marinette, Damian.

Marinette: And is that a problem?

Damian: Adrien, take your date and go elsewhere. We don't want her to start up trouble then blaming it on Marinette. Or me for that matter.

Marinettes POV

Wait, did he just...defend me but why? And why is it that my heart won't slow down. My whole body's heating up....WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH ME??!?!?!

Adrien: Why are you always so mean towards Lila. She didn't do anything wrong other than greet you. Marinette, you and I both know that she didn't do anything.

Marinette: She didn't, did she? Well for one thing....she lied about being Dami's soulmate to the whole world...and obviously lied about being Nettie and MDC....

Damian's POV

Wait...did Marinette just speak up for me. Why? She didn't need to...then again, I just stood up for her. Wait...what am I telling myself....my heart won't stop pounding on my chest....It hurts...but...in a good way?!?!?!! Ughhh!!!

Marinette: Adrien, you and I both know that she did do something. Stop defending a liar like her or else you'll become her sooner or later. Her influence spreads farther than her lies, though I wish they could reseed like her hairline every time she does. *walks over to Luka and Kagami who were trying to hold in their laughter*

Ouch...that hurt and I feel the need to laugh...and for once I can agree with my brothers. They were laughing their heads off. Adrien smiled a bit...looked as though he wanted to join.

But the best part....was the lying bitch's face...she looked so dumbfounded. Hilarious. I didn't know Mari could deliver a blow like that. Then again, she's a sassy queen. Wait...did I just call her....Mari?

Good evening lady's and gents, special guests gathered here tonight, I officially welcome you all to the annual banquet hosted here in Paris. All of our guests have arrived and so, the party can begin. First off, we have Jagged Stone performing one of his new songs. Jagged....

Jagged: Oh right that's me. Wish me luck, my fans *waved to the camera behind him*!

~ Hey guys....I know what you're thinking. How the hell am I on my iPad...well, my mom isn't home at the moment. Just my dad. So...I took advantage of the moment to quickly write a chapter since I couldn't resist 😉😝😋😏. I was trying to look for a pic of Lila in a dress but they were all stained with her cooties. Couldn't find a good dress, so I found one that was so beautiful without her face destroying it. Well, next time I'll probably write....will be Saturday. So...wait until then. Thankssssss guyssss!!
