Chapter Two

~ The Next Day ~

At around 6:00 am Felix woke up to his alarm, he groaned pressing the stop button, and lay there for a bit before getting out of bed.

Felix had school today.

He hated school, people would always look at him and call him names.

They never got physical, and for that Felix was grateful, but they called him very hurtful words just because of his sexuality.

Ever since Felix came out to his "friend" Gajja, who turned out to only wanna get with his friend Seungmin (who was gay and taken), she told everyone.

His school life has been hell.

He never wanted everyone to know but when they did he got into a, very toxic, relationship.

What sucks is that he always has to see his ex, Hangmun, every day at school.

~ Time Skip ~

Felix arrived at school to see his three best friends, Seungmin, Jeongin, and Jisung waiting for him by the bike rack.

He put his bike on the bike rack and looked at his friends.

Did they look... happy?

Why are they happy?

"Everything okay?" Felix asked them curiously.

"Everything's fine! It's just, well," Jisung said, jumping in his spot, unable to stay still.

"Well Hangmun is transferring schools and today was supposed to be his last day," Jeongin blurts out eagerly with a big smile.

"That's great! But when is he leaving then?" Felix said, smiling brightly.

"He already left! He was set to transfer for a while and he moved away the other day so now we're finally free of him!" Seungmin said excitedly.

"Well I mean not free, there is still Gajja, but nobody likes her like they do Hangmun so maybe it'll be peaceful again?" Jeongin said hopefully.

They all walked into the school building and talked to each other about the topic.

When they got in, nobody even acknowledged them, they were so happy!

They each got to their lockers, which were conveniently right next to each other, when Gajja came up to them, she looked mad.

"What the hell!?" She said.

"What did we even do!?" Jisung retorts immediately.

"You didn't do anything squirrel!" She said, clearly agitated at something.

"It's the fucking principle! He changed my locker so I'm next to you freaks!" She exclaimed.

Everyone looked towards them, a few people had a soft look in their eyes but most looked like her voice was irritating as hell, which it was.

"Okay, but you could just wait while we get our books so you aren't anywhere near us?" Felix said sassily.

He was only ever sassy when he was in a bad mood and he was rarely in one.

When he was however he was a little scary, but with his friends, his being even a little scary is terrifying.

"B-because..." she said, not sure of what to say 

" 'B-because' Because what?" Felix said getting annoyed.

"Because you should be the ones to wait!" She said triumphantly.

"Okay but, answer me this, why should we have to wait if we were here first?" Felix stood up straighter and his already deep voice even deeper.

"Because I'm better than you!" She yelled out in an annoyingly high-pitched voice like the pick me she was.

"I honestly can't believe I was ever friends with a plastic bitch like you Gajja. You're so fucking spoiled!" Felix said his voice dropping to a scarily low level.

"You freak!! You think I ever wanted to even pretend to be your friend!?" She said getting even more agitated at this point.

Felix did try walking away now but she just grabbed his wrist and pulled him back towards her.

"I mean, the only people who would wanna be your friends are freaks like you, right?" She asked with a devilish smirk.

Felix grits his teeth, he was fine with himself being ridiculed and made fun of but if you so much as said one wrong word about his friends he would come for your ass in a heartbeat.

"How about you shut up," Felix said through gritted teeth.

He was no longer a little agitated or a little annoyed he was angry.

I mean who wouldn't be if you said something rude about their friends?

Felix took a step forward and Gajja took a step back, now she was seeing how mad he was at her.

She was scared.

"Scared?" Jisung said breaking the silence, trying to sound intimidating.

Seungmin just slapped his arm lightly as a shut up! Kind of thing, so he did.

Felix just scoffed and, grabbing his things from his open locker, slammed it closed and left.

His friends followed him and Gajja just stared at the spot Felix was, starstruck.

Was he just... scary?...

That is what pretty much everyone in the hall was thinking.

Felix was always the cute, shy, sunshine in their school and most of them didn't even know him, he was so shy.

But they never thought he could be this scary.

~ Time Skip ~

It was the end of the school day and Felix was just leaving his last class to go meet up with his friends when Gajja came out of literally nowhere and just pushed him down.

"What the hell did I do this time?" Felix said, already irritated.

"You breathed in my direction, that's it," she said in that annoyingly high-pitched voice.

Damn is she annoying

Felix thought to himself.

He stood up and held his breath as he walked past Gajja to go see his friends.

"Ugh! At least acknowledge me!!" Gajja said like the pick-me girl she is.

Felix turned around saying "Okay, so what can I do to make it up to you your highness?"

He mockingly bowed at her feet.

Gajja however didn't notice the mocking tone and she seemed pleased with herself for getting this reaction.

"I want you to go kill yourself, worthless loser," Gajja said so proudly.

"Okay. But if I were to kill myself what would you do then?" Felix said, feeling sassy as he stood up straight.

"U-um... I-I dunno..." she said stupidly and she looked at the floor.

"Hmm okay, bye now," Felix said waving at her as he walked away.

Gajja felt stupid, she didn't know why she always felt so mad at him or what he did for her to be this annoyed with him but, he did something in her eyes.

~ Time Skip ~

Felix had just arrived home, with his friends who were hanging out at his house today, and they were all in his room now.

"She's so stupid! Why is she even mad at me anyway!?" Felix said.

Felix told them about how Gajja confronted him when he was leaving his class and about what happened and the words said.

They had just finished laughing about how she stuttered and didn't know what to do if Felix were to... Y'know.

Felix was just asking them rhetorical questions at this point because he had no idea the answer and he knew they didn't either.

"I dunno Lix maybe she's just a plastic Barbie who likes to make people's lives miserable?" Jeongin said questioningly.

"Maybe she just hates herself so much that dissing other people makes her feel better?" Seungmin suggested.

"Yeah! I mean when have you ever seen her not making fun of someone?" Jisung added.

"Never, if I'm honest," Felix said.

They had just now realized why she was always unhappy, and they felt kinda bad for her.

But they can never forget all the rude things she's done to them and other people just because they were weaker than her or pushovers.

Just then Mrs. Lee came into the room with snacks.

"Hello, boys! Is it alright if I just leave this here?" She asked as she walked over to Felix's work desk.

"That's fine Mom! Thank you!" Felix said smiling warmly.

"Oh it's not a problem honey, well you four have fun okay?" Mrs. Lee said as he left the room.

"We will thank you!" Seungmin and Jeongin said at the same time.

They all got up off the bed and in their comfy positions to go eat the snacks.

They must've been really hungry because the food was gone in minutes.

"Well we must've been starving" Jisung joked even though he ate most of the sweets, leaving only 3 left for them.

"Yeah I guess so" Jeongin giggled.

~ Time Skip ~

It was around 9 pm, Seungmin, Jeongin, and Jisung had left a few hours ago, so now it was just Felix sitting in his room playing on his phone.

"Dammit!" He said as he died again.

He was getting annoyed so he just turned it off before he did something he would regret, like throwing his phone across the room.

"Felix! Honey come down here please!" Felix heard his mom say.

"Coming!" He told her.

He assumed it was just her calling him down for dinner, he didn't expect to see his dad's boss waiting for him in the dining room.

"Hello?" Felix said confused.

He didn't know why Hyunjin was there but he did know that he had to address his elders with respect, so he bowed politely.

"No need for formality Lee. Is it alright if I call you Felix?" Hyunjin said with a warm smile.

Mr. and Mrs. Lee were confused, as far as they knew Mr. Hwang was a cold person, who never smiled.

With Felix however it was a different story, Hyunjin was always smiling around him.

He may have only met him once but he thought that maybe Hyunjin wasn't as he seemed.

"That's fine," Felix said smiling and sitting down across from Hyunjin.

"As long as I can call you Hyunjin?" He said leaning forward smiling a more sly smile.

Hyunjin blushed ever so slightly, but thankfully no one noticed this.

"That's perfectly fine Felix, so long as you don't just use Hyunjin, maybe call me Hyung?" Hyunjin replied.

The Lee parents were so confused, they were having a normal conversation and they completely blocked them out.

"I'm going to get started on dinner now," Mrs. Lee said smiling.

"Oh!! Let me help love," Mr. Lee said.

They both wanted to get out of this situation as quickly as possible.

"So, why are you here Hyunjin Hyung?" Felix asked, and boy did Hyunjin love the way his name sounded coming out of his mouth.

"I'm here to see you," Hyunjin said simply.

Shit, he thought to himself almost immediately.

He wasn't supposed to say that.

"Okay, wanna go to my room?" Felix said nonchalantly, and Hyunjin was thankful he didn't say anything about it.

Inside Felix was freaking out.

He was so happy he came to see him but he was not as excited for Hyunjin to see him excited.

"Sure, let's go?" Hyunjin said.

They both stood up and left for his room.

That was the first step of the relationship.
