Big Mom's Intrusion

Listen Yall. I'll be honest. When I read fanfics it is SOLELY for the fluff. The sheer fanservice. And i write to make fanservice too. SO ALL THESE IMPORTANT FIGHTING SCENES ARE GETTING IN THE WAY OF MY PURPOSE. I love the fights. LOVE THEM. ITS PART OF WHY I EVEN STARTED WATCHING THE SHOW. But writing them? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO---

You know, I didn't have a lot of guesses as to who would have been stomping up to the prison, but Big Mom was not someone I was expecting even a little bit. There were many crashes and screams before she got to our section of Udon. I feel bad for the people she probably stepped on to get here.

"WHAT?!?! Am I dreaming?!" Luffy shrieked, staring at the huge woman in the newly made hole in the side of our section.

"No, this is definitely real!" I said after rubbing my eyes, just in case this was just a nightmare.

Queen's eyes were bulging out of his skull as he yelled, "WHAT IS SHE DOING HERE?! I heard that her ship was sunk!"

For some reason, Big Mom didn't seem to be looking around for anyone in particular, nor was she really paying attention to us talking about her. She seemed pretty docile besides the fact that she came smashing through the gates and the rest of the prison. She kept on sniffing the air, saying something we couldn't really hear through all the panic.

When she repeated what she said some more, Hyo seemed to have heard it. "Red bean soup?" he muttered, before freaking out.

"Otama-chan! Come quickly! I smell red bean soup!" Big Mom called out.

"OTAMA?!" I screamed, holding my face. "How does she know Otama?! Did she bring Big Mom here without realizing or something?!"

Big Mom stood there and waited while sniffing around, everyone staring at her. "Red bean soup! Red bean soup smells great, doesn't it? It's really delicious, isn't it? Red bean soup!" she chirped.

"Red bean soup?" Queen echoed. He seemed to be getting irked by the fact that Big Mom wanted red bean- OH FUCK. RED BEAN SOUP?! I looked at Hyo, who looked right back at me. Sweat was pouring down our faces upon realizing that there would be NO red bean soup for her to eat if that's what she was craving. Luffy was standing between us, blissfully ignorant of the fact that we might DIE because the two of them decided they were going to eat the whole pot of red bean soup. 

"OI! Old bag! Did you say red bean soup?!" Queen's yelling brought me out of my panicked thoughts.

Big Mom smiled happily despite the man's hostile behavior and held a hand out, "I did! Give it to me already!" Her stomach rumbled loudly, causing her to hold it and tell it, "Whoa whoa, you'll get it soon. I heard that I could eat a lot of it here, so I came all the way!"

"Screw that! Who told you such nonsense!" Queen spat out. "You came to eat a lot of it?! Did you come to steal it knowing that it's my most favorite?!"

This weird exchange became the least of my worries when I heard chains rattle behind me. The three of us on the platform looked back to Kid and Killer, who were still stuck underwater. I completely forgot about them with all the new chaos.

Luffy was quick to act on his concern by yelling at Queen, "Oi, you two! Pull them out! While you're talking idly, Jaggy and the other guy will drown!"

The huge man frowned and looked back at him, "This is not idle talk!" As if to prove his point, he started transforming into a giant long necked dinosaur. He said something about red bean soup being his life source while his subordinates tried to tell him not to fight Big Mom. He was not having it, though.

Big Mom decided she wasn't having his attitude either and smashed his head into the ground with one hit. Hyo nearly fell back at the display of power. "What a strong lady!" he gasped.

"She's not just an old lady... She's a Yonko!" Luffy informed him. I totally forgot that Hyo wouldn't know who she was since the country is isolated.

The woman sniffed around a bit more, trying to pinpoint where her food was as if her fight was done. Queen stood up after the hit he took, and jumped high into the air to attack her. "GET SQUASHED!" he yelled as he came falling down toward her.

Dust flew into the air as he made impact, but when it cleared it showed that Big Mom had stopped him by grabbing his feet before she was hit. "This is... a battle between a beast and a monster!" Hyo cried out. It looked like Big Mom was going to fall for a second there. She surprised us all by throwing Queen to the side with a spirt of energy.

She looked at his fallen body and said, "Oi! Quit lying around, you damn lizard!" She grabbed his dinosaur neck and started swinging him around, nearly hitting us with his body. "Red bean soup! Give it to me!" she chanted, continuing to swing him. She let him go and sent him flying after she gathered the momentum she wanted.

When Queen went crashing into a wall, the whole place shook and many things broke. One of those many things was the machine holding Kid and Killer suspended in water. They fell out of the tub and started coughing up the water after nearly drowning.

"Oi! Are you okay?!" Luffy called to them.

"SHUT UP!" he shouted back. "We don't need your pity, we're not weak!"

"Well, he's alright enough to be sassy, so I think they're good," I commented. He gave me a look while he coughed some more and Luffy let out a laugh.

This exchange was stopped when Queen's body fell from the wall it was lodged in, creating a loud thud. His body shifted into his original form. He didn't get back up.

"She beat Queen so easily," Hyo observed. "She's on another level... that's how strong the Yonko, Big mom, is!"

Even with their leader being taken down, no one told Big Mom where the red bean soup was. She found it on her own. She was then smacked with the harsh reality that the huge pot of red bean soup was completely empty. The aura around her quickly became dark.

"EVERYONE EVACUATE! I DON'T KNOW HOW BAD IT'LL BE, BUT THIS IS GONNA BE A DISASTER!" Elephant Warden ordered, motioning to the exit. At least he cares a little bit about his workers.

Luffy smiled calmly at the scene. "I see, so she really wanted to eat it," he hummed.

"Of course, why do you think she was rampaging and chanting red bean soup?" I sighed.

"Oh, yea. Well, I understand why she's sad, I want to eat it again, too! It was so delicious!" he chirped.

I froze. Big Mom turned to us. She heard. Everyone looked at us. THEY ALL HEARD. "SO YOU'RE THE ONE WHO ATE IT?!" everyone screamed.

"Eh? Why's everyone looking at me?" he questioned.

"Well you just said... that you ate the soup out loud..." Hyo told him.

"EHHH?! Did I say that out loud?! 'The red bean soup was so delicious'! I just said it silently to myself!" he yelled at the small man.

I punched him in the face and he fell over. "SHUT UP LUFFY! YOU ALWAYS DIG THE HOLE DEEPER!" I screamed, crocodile tears running down my face. He blinked in confusion. "WHY DO YOU DO THIS?!"

"But the soup was deliciou- OW!" I coated my fist in haki this time punched him again, and then spun around to quickly punched away the empty pot of red bean soup that was sent flying in our direction.

Big Mom stomped over to us and brought her face to our level. "Did you... eat all of the red bean soup?!" she seethed, sniffing around us.

We didn't have time to answer before she stood up and threw a punch at us. Luffy grabbed Hyo and we jumped the other way. Our collars started beeping when we got too close to the edge of the ring, bringing us back to the reality that we are still in a LIMITED SPACE.

"That was close.." Luffy panicked, pulling me up with him. "I forgot that if we step out of the ring, we'll die!"

"YEA! AND YOU JUST GAVE US A DEATH SENTENCE!" I yelled, grabbing his shoulders and turning him around so he could see the sheer rage in Big Mom's face.

"I won't forgive you..." she hissed.

"W-W-W-Wait! I'm begging you! Wait, Big Mom!" he pleaded, holding his hands up.

She stood upright and shouted, "Again with this Big Mom! Who is that?! And you who ate the soup! Who are you?!"

She crashed her fist into the platform again, destroying some more of it and thus limiting our space some more. We jumped and skidded to another side of the ring. Luffy stood up and said, "Ehhh?! You don't know who I am?! Oh yea, I'm disguised as a samurai now, so she doesn't recognize me."

I stood up and gripped his arm, "And it better stay that way! Don't say ANYTHING about who you are."

"Why would that matter now?" Hyo asked, clearly fearful of the anger level Big Mom is at right now.

"Well when-" I slapped a hand over Luffy's mouth before he could explain. A stomp pulled the three of us back to the situation as Big Mom closed in on us. We took a step back with every step she took forward until we couldn't move back any more due to the ring ending.

She whimpered a bit and started speaking, "If that pot had been full, I could have shared it with everyone from that town! Everyone in that poor town was so kind to me... so I wanted to bring back a lot of red bean soup to them! That delicious red bean soup... I WANTED THEM TO HAVE IT TO! Red bean souppp! Why did you eat it?! WHY DID YOU EAT IT?!"

Well now I feel bad AND scared. Linlin raised another fist to punch us with, but we couldn't move anywhere to avoid it that was in the ring. In our desperate attempt to escape, we quickly jumped into the air and out of the ring. This was followed by the beeping of the collars around our necks.

Hyo's started beeping first since he jumped first and the farthest. Luffy air-swam to him and started trying to pry the collars off. I was busy with my own. The beeping was getting really stressful and it was fucking with my attempt to try to use the special Haki, the one that Rayleigh used. The beeping got louder and faster, and Luffy was struggling in the air beside me.

The collar stopped beeping for a moment, and my life flashed before my eyes. My haki coated arms tugged at the collar one last time. It crushed beneath my hands, allowing me to tear it from my neck and throw it to the side somewhere. I heard someone scream after it exploded. Must have thrown it at someone on accident.

We fell to the floor and groaned. Then Luffy and I looked at each other. We grinned. "WE FINALLY DID IT!" We cheered and hugged each other, rolling around on the floor like a couple of carefree kids that weren't about to be murdered.

The two of us stopped rolling around when Big Mom stomped closer to us. "You got away again..." she grumbled.

We jumped to our feet and took off, calling Hyo to come with us. I almost fell over, suddenly feeling way more tired than I usually do after using haki with these damn cuffs on. "Straw hat man!" Hyo said from behind us. Luffy turned around and stopped, so I did too. The old man crossed his arms and continued, "Before you forget that feeling, protect me! A moment of crises will reveal your true power!" He crossed his arms as Big Mom closed in on him. "Come on!"

Luffy jumped behind the small man and I just took a seat where I stopped running. I flexed my arms and decided that I should probably practice on the floor next to me since Luffy would be busy with a life or death situation with Big Mom. I ran haki along my arms, trying to feel the same thing I did a second ago. I punched the ground, breaking it instead of imploding it.

I scrunched my nose, about to try my other arm before a blast of wind made my hair fly back violently. I saw a glimpse of Luffy and Hyo being flung into a wall. What followed was a dramatic moment of Hyogoro pretending to die, only to magically revive when Big Mom came bounding up to them.

They split up and Luffy went running into another part of the prison with the Yonko hot on his tail. I guess she's only after him since he's the only one who admitted it. I let up my haki usage and went jogging over to where Hyo was. Jogging instead of running since I didn't want to get too tired after all this haki stuff. These damn cuffs are so annoying.

"Oi," a grunt called my attention. I turned, seeing that it was Kid.

"Nice to see you haven't been crushed or something," I hummed, changing my direction and jogging to the soaked man lying on the ground.

He rolled to his back and stuffed his hand in his pocket, pulling out... a key? "I've got a present for you," he said. "Pretty sure this is your key. It didn't fit in my cuffs, sadly."

I raised a brow, "My key...? My key for wha- OH! MY CUFFS! Thank god!" I kneeled beside him and reached for it. He clenched it in his fist and pulled it away from me. I gave him a look of confusion.

"Everything's got a price, babe. If I give you this key, you're gonna owe me somethin," he warned me.

"Yea yea, whatever, you can cash that in whenever you want, just give me the key, I'm desperate," I demanded, reaching for it again. He opened his hand and let me snatch it from him.

I quickly unlocked the cuffs and watched them fall to the ground. I could feel the strength returning to my body. I thanked Kid quickly and ran off, jumping out of the way when the red head attempted to trip me, yelling about something I didn't bother to listen to since I was more worried about my captain.

A huge crash occurred while I was trying to find out what I wanted to do: go after Hyo or Luffy. The decision was chosen by who crashed through the nearby divide between this section of the prison and the next. It was Big Mom. Looks like she just did a lap around the whole prison while chasing Luffy.

She stopped in her tracks when she noticed a pot of red bean soup in a clearing of the prison. She went to open it up, only to find it empty. Again. Queen, who I didn't even know was awake, jumped off of the high wall of the prison and head-butted Big Mom in his dinosaur form. She stumbled a bit after taking the hit.

For a second there, I thought she was going to pass out. I was wrong. Instead, she gained a more menacing aura to her. "Yes... I remember now... Ahhh I'm hungry... Red bean soup..." she trailed off. Looks like she's back to normal. She turned her head to look at Queen, who was just as surprised as everyone else that she was still standing. "Oh... you're Kaido's subordinate, Queen, aren't you?"

Queen's face drained of color as Big Mom approached him. He even started crying. I thought he was going to die, but Big Mom ended up knocking out on the way over to him. As soon as he realized she was knocked out and he wasn't really going to die yet, he ordered the guards to wrap sea prism stone around her ASAP. She was practically swaddled in the chains when they were done.

"It's not enough! I still don't feel safe!" he exclaimed, which was reasonable, "Do something more! Inject 100 shots of tranquilizer for savage animals!"

"Yessir!"

"Alright! Is the ship ready?" Queen questioned once the shots were injected. He got a yes. "Then leave the minimum necessary number of guards and the rest of you, get on board! Babanuki!" he pointed to the elephant warden after calling the name, "I'll leave the whole of Udon to you! The old bag broke most of the doors in Udon! So once I've left, lock Udon down with the emergency gates! Throw all the prisoners into their cells and set things right!"

"Yessir! But there's one man-"

"Let's go!" Queen interrupted him and went running off with Big Mom's body, intending to bring it to Kaido's island with the ship he ordered.

Luffy came jumping down from a nearby building once he figured it was alright to show himself, and then declared that he would be taking over Udon Prison. Guards were ordered to catch him immediately. I could see that he was using this opportunity to practice his haki-

"OI! Catch that girl too!"

I was surrounded while I was lost in thought. I facepalmed and just took on a fighting stance, activating my haki, and then trying to find this new power 'Ryou'. I know it just means haki here, but it's gotta be called something in my head or else I won't be able to narrate well.

While I was punching aside every guard that came my way, the warden jumped into the air and landed on some rubble that brought him onto another level above everyone else. "You wretched prisoners, listen carefully!" he called out, getting everyone's attention. "Two of your friends, Luffytaro and O(y/n), are out of control and we're in deep trouble. You know what I mean, don't you?!" All he got was silence in return. No one moved. "I see... I guess you guys wanna break the peace yourselves! None of you mind getting executed because of the actions of some people who do whatever they like?! The first offense, your arms will be cut off... for the second, your legs, and for the third... you know, right? Go! I know you guys can get them under control!"

"What are you talking about?! They're not gonna listen to you!" Luffy yelled.

He was taken aback when all the prisoners came running our way. "Well this isn't good," I thought aloud.

A second after that superb observation, we were held in place by multiple prisoners. "What are you doing?! We're on your side!" Luffy tried to explain.

"Yes, we have resentment against the guards! I admit that when you fought against them, I felt so excited! But even if we break out, Kaido and Orochi will still be in charge!" they told him. "We tried to avenge Kozuki Oden! But the pirate Kaido... He killed our families and allies, and beat the crap out of us! Yasuie-sama's execution earlier... evoked the sense of fear and despair I felt back then. Even if we can break out of here, we have no place to go and have nothing to eat! There is no freedom in this country anymore!"

"That's right! You better stay here and obey us!" the warden yelled.

"You're being selfish!" Luffy shouted at the men holding us down.

"NO, you're being selfish!" a prisoner accused, "You're a stranger from overseas. I don't care if you run or fight... but don't get us involved anymore! Don't give us unnecessary hope anymore."

I flung the men off of me and watched as they scooted back a bit, seemingly surprised that I threw them off after their emotional speech. "I know we're from overseas, but if I were working here for the past 20 years, I'd sooner have my arms, legs and life taken away before I went and fought for these assholes! They've worked you to death this entire time, and the profits of your work only further ruined the country you once fought for! With all that you just told us in the mere seconds you spoke, can't you see that death while fighting back is something much greater?! I understand that you've been conditioned to fear these people, but you once fought with the knowledge that you could have died for Oden. But you didn't die. Now you're working for the enemy because of your fear! This is even worse!" I yelled.

The men on Luffy and the guys on the ground only stared, as if they couldn't understand what I said. No one even had the chance to argue with my words because a gunshot was heard. We all turned to see that the scorpion guard shot a docile prisoner.

Other prisoners held the injured man, only to pull away from him when green patches spread from his body to theirs. "What is this?!" one of them panicked.

"I told you to be careful!" scorpion man scolded. "That's a contagious plague! One touch and you'll be infected! I made them an example! If anyone does something stupid, I'll shoot him! Queen-sama loves to craft things. It's his hobby to build mechanical weapons and create viruses!" He shot another person to punctuate his sentence. "These are Queen-sama's special Plague Rounds!"

"What the hell? Now we have to avoid the plague, too?!" I groaned, dragging a hand down my face.

The scorpion man turned to us and laughed, "Straw Hat! Did you think that the prisoners would fight together with you?! It's too bad that their rebellious spirits are already crushed!"

"Shut up! I won't get shot!" Luffy shouted.

"You idiot! Didn't you see?! If someone gets shot, they'll pass it on!" the guard smugly explained. He aimed the gun at the group huddled around him.

Luffy told the men to get off him, but they didn't because they were gonna die here anyway. Dumbest excuse I've ever heard. "IF YOU'RE GONNA DIE HERE ANYWAY, DIE FIGHTING BACK YOU IDIOTS! DON'T YOU SEE HOW POINTLESS IT IS TO DIE BY HOLDING HIM?!" I yelled beginning to pry them off of him.

Just as the scorpion man was about to shoot, a weird laugh caught everyone's attention. Kapapa or something like that. Wonder who that is...
