Chaotic Tea Party Begins

13:20, 21 September 2021

Sorry yall, sometimes I forget that my modern AU isn't posted so u don't even know why I have late updates lol---

I was shoved through the mirror by Nami and Chopper, causing me to fall on my face. I quickly rolled onto my back and fixed the dress that I had to put back on earlier. While I did this, Nami and Chopper's images faded in the mirror and it was once again my reflection.

The door to my room was being knocked on violently, which was why the two of them hurried me into my room. We were having some idle chat before I was back into unsafe territory, but whoever is at my door right now ruined it.

With a huff, I hopped to my feet and yelled, "WHO IS IT?! I WAS SLEEPING!"

Whoever it was fumbled a little and then answered, "U-uh, I'm only here to tell you that Mama has given you another dress for the tea party, (y/n)-sama."

"Hmm... I'll only accept it if that last maid gives it to me," I stated through the door.

There was some shuffling before a familiar voice shouted, "I'm right here, (y/n)-sama! The dress is in my arms!"

Grinning, I threw the door open and gladly greeted her, welcoming her into my room. She happily accepted my invitation. I slammed the door on the people still standing outside of it. "Soooo what dress is it now?" I hummed, looking at the clothing in her hand.

She displayed it by holding it up by the top of it so I could fully see it. A short pink sleeveless dress with a black bow around the waist. "This is the one~! I think it'll look lovely on you!" she chirped, holding it so that it was in front of my body.

"Not like I've got much of a choice anyway, right?" I joked, pulling my dress off and pulling the new one over my head.

"Take off the shorts, it's making you look bunchy," she huffed, motioning to me.

"What if I like looking bunchy?" I sarcastically shot back. When she gave me an unamused look, I sighed and reached under the dress to pull off my shorts. No high kicks for me, I guess. "You're lucky I value your opinion, woman."

"I'm thankful! You look very good!" she praised.

She then gently grabbed a hold of my shoulders and led me over to the chair in front of a dresser. I was sat down, and she began working on my hair in (whatever) style. It always feels good when people touch my hair. As long as it's wanted.

When she was done, a black hat was placed on my head. "What, you're not gonna do my makeup professionally? Is that not what I deserve?" I mused, tilting my head back to see her.

"Mama doesn't want you looking too pretty, (y/n)-sama. The woman who's getting married is Pudding-sama," she retorted with a smile.

I blushed a little and put a hand on my cheek, "Aw stop it. I'm all warm."

She pushed my shoulder and laughed, "Don't be bashful now, you cheeky young woman. Now, let the escorts take you to the Tea Party. I can't wait for you to come back."

My blush faded and I was instead hit with guilt. "Uh... right. When I come back," I mumbled, standing up.

She quirked a brow, "Why did you get so down- WAIT! What are those shoes! No no no!" She ran into the closet in the room and rummaged through the bottom shelf. I sweatdropped. She's so weird. She came back out with a pair of black heels.

"Uh.... I don't mean to be rude but... I'm not wearing those. What if I have to figh- I mean what if I have to dance? Who's gonna dance in those? I'm not that skilled," I told her, looking at the height on the heels she brought out.

"Oh boo," she whined and walked back into the closet. When she came out again, she was holding new shoes that didn't look like I would want to die if I had to start sprinting. I put them on quickly. "There, perfect!" she sighed in content, looking me over.

I put my hands on my hips proudly and laughed cockily, "I'm always perfect. Anyway, what's your name? You never got to finish."

"My name is Sydney, Ms. (y/n)," she grinned.

I smiled back, "Nice name. I'll see you around, Sydney."

She nodded, "Right."

I jumped onto the ground from the carriage that took me to the Tea Party's entrance, looking around. There was a giant door that smiled upon seeing me. Bege was standing in front of it. He's doing security with the rest of his crew just as he said he was. There was a line of the island's people who were invited to the Tea Party, but my guides led me straight to the door where Bege stopped me.

"We need to conduct a weapon search before you're allowed in," he grunted through his cigar.

I waved my hand, "Fine by me. I don't have anything on me to be honest. Not like I could shove a gun in this dress anyway."

Vito walked up to me and picked up my hat to look under it, did a 360 of me, then just as he was about to clear me to go, the door announced that someone else important showed up as well. I turned to see who it was, and I regretted it instantly. It's the Vinsmokes.

"Good to see you're still alive," Red said mockingly upon noticing me.

I quickly faced Bege when I realized they were walking over to us, "Can you please let me in?"

"I can't open the door unless I check everyone who's near it," the man answered flatly, looking past me and at the Vinsmokes.

"And it would be rude of you to leave us behind, of course. Just as rude as not acknowledging my brother's greeting," Blue said as he finally made it to me, his arm snaking around my shoulders, causing my eyebrow to twitch in irritation. Then he seemed to realize what Bege said. "Wait, did you say check?"

"We have to do a body check before you go in," Bege explained.

"Huh?! Who do you think you're talking to?!" Yonji seethed.

"I have full authority over security of today's Tea Party. This is Big Mom's order," the man grunted. He then motioned his henchmen to do the search. "We'll keep all kinds of weapons here."

The henchmen collected guns from the family while Vito got all weird with Red. "He's the real one-rero~!" the tall man gushed.

I turned to him and laughed a little, "Did you read Sora?"

Vito turned his attention to me, "Of course I did. It's one of my favorite comics and still is. You've read it-rero?"

"Yea I read it. I still have some copies of it at my old place," I said.

"Were you a fan of us then?" Red butted in with a smirk. I forgot he was there. I'm a little surprised he's letting Vito grab him like that. I thought he'd be as sassy as Yonji and Blue, but I guess not.

"That's none of your business," I told him, scrunching my nose at him.

Bege's spoke up, "We'll keep your Raid Suits too." Red seemed to change his attitude pretty quick upon hearing that, and so did the other two brothers. "No one's allowed to bring any weapon in. Raid Suits are no exception."

"What happens... if we refuse?" Red asked.

I took a huge step back as the two groups entered a stand off. Just as they all went in for their first shot at each other, Judge yelled, "WAIT!" Everyone stopped right before contact was made. "If that's what Big Mom wants, we'll go along with it.

Bege put down his gun and grinned, "Welcome to Big Mom's Tea Party."

As soon as they handed over the suits onto the same trays as the guns, the huge talking door opened up for us. Before I could sprint away from the Vinsmokes, I was grabbed by a hand clutching my forearm. To my surprise, it wasn't one of the brothers. It was Reiju.

"Eh? What're you doing, Reiju? I said I wanted to talk to her. I know you heard me in the castle," Yonji frowned, looking at his sister.

"I have a few things I need to say to her," she replied.

"What? That can wait," the green clad man said, moving to grab hold of my hand to pull me away.

His shoulder was grabbed by Blue, who stated, "You've played enough with her. It's our turn."

"When did I get to-"

"She's already engaged to one of Big Mom's sons. Meaning you can't touch her anymore," Reiju interrupted.

I held back a laugh when the two of them froze in their places. "Yea, I'm engaged to a big name. I can't believe you guys weren't informed," I added cheekily. After that, I moved on quickly, pulling Reiju to another place. As soon as we were alone, I stopped and turned around. "Alright, what's this about? What did you need me for? Last I checked, we weren't really the closest."

Her curly brows furrowed and a frown overtook her normally neutral face, "I don't understand why Sanji is still here, he's in danger."

"Whaaaat? Hahaaa.... who told you about that?" I dropped the façade since I was not doing a good job at it.

"Pudding told me and then wiped my memory of it. Sanji found me later and then told me what she erased," she explained.

I nodded, "Well that makes sense. Sanji's here because... we've got a plan. So don't worry about it, alright? Everything is gonna somehow turn out okay."

"Somehow?" she repeated in confusion.

~~~
"What are you doing here?"
I nearly jumped out of my skin when I heard that voice. "We were going to our seats, Katakuri. No need to get all nosey," I said, facing him and standing in front of Reiju in a sort of protective way.
"You aren't going to sit with the Vinsmokes," he stated.
I tried to keep myself from breaking into a nervous sweat, "Uh why not? I'm friends with Sanji's sister so I want to sit with her."
"Mama instructed me to keep you with me," he answered. Oh man, I wooonder whyyyy.
I sighed and slumped a little, "I mean... I guess that makes sense?"
Reiju patted my shoulder and said, "It's fine. I'll be going to my family's designated table."
After I gave her a nod she left. One of the goals is to save them, I'll be able to talk to her again, so I don't need to worry about her. I walked after Katakuri, who was walking wherever. Not like I wanted to know or anything. He stopped so I stopped beside him. We were at a table. A table that had Big Mom. Oh shit, hopefully he moves places later because I'd rather not be right next to her when shit goes down. Hell, I don't even think I want to be next to Katakuri when shit goes down.
I sat down next to him, right between him and Judge. "You are the Celestial Dragon girl, aren't you?" the huge blond asked.
"Yep, I am," I replied shortly.
Big Mom smiled at me, "Mama-mama~! She's going to be part of my family once she marries my dear son, Katakuri!"
The king of the landless kingdom seemed surprised upon hearing this, "I didn't know you were planning to wed her to one of your sons. I was planning on asking you if I could take her into my family. My boys seem to been entertaining the thought of keeping her as a maid of some kind."
It took everything in me not to use the fork on the table as a weapon. Who the hell do they think they are? Do I look like maid material to you, damnit? I kept my fists clutched under the table as Big Mom responded, "I need her Celestial Blood for my land, I would never hand her over. I do understand why your sons would want her, though." She looked to me again and smiled, "I wish you'd have been my daughter from the beginning, your looks could have had you working Pudding's usual jobs instead. Well, you can take it over now anyway."
"What does looks have to do with this? I'm sure Pudding fills in that role enough. She's beautiful," I said, for some reason defending the woman who is trying to kill my- our cook.
She laughed strangely and replied, "I'm sure you won't think that for long, Silver Goddess. Now," her eyes landed on Judge, who looked normally sized compared to her, "I'm glad you seem like you're having a good time, Judge."
Katakuri's eyes shifted to the blond king as well. Judge answered, "Of course I am! This is the best day of my life!"
"It is for me too! Because we're gonna become family soon!" Big Mom happily followed up. She's a good actor, for sure.
"To the North Blue's... No..." Judge shook his head, "To the soon to be world's strongest family...Cheers!" He held up a tea cup and so did she in reaction to his cheers.
After a bit more chatting, Katakuri got up from the table and so did I. He went to stand slightly off to the side and I awkwardly stood next to him.
Not a second later, a living clock was announcing to everyone that it was twelve o'clock; the time of the wedding. These shouts from it were accompanied by a loud bell. Next, trumpets and a small band thing started playing as confetti fell from the sky. Everyone was up from their seats, including the Vinsmokes. Katakuri probably saw into the future and that's why he got up before everyone else or something.
"Okay, ladies and gentlemen! It's today's main event!" a guy with a half skull mask thing said into a microphone. "The 35th daughter of Charlotte- Charlotte Pudding-sama and... the third son of Vinsmoke- Vinsmoke Sanji-ama's... royal wedding... starts now!" The entire place dimmed from the clouds shrouding the sky and little firefly fireworks flew around the table I was at, proceeding to fly into the sky and blow up. "Without further ado, here are the bride and groom!"
Beams of light came in from the clouds, leading to a lit up golden candy thing. There were sparkles everywhere. "Wow, this is incredible," I mumbled, trying to catch one of the sparkles near me. I've never been to something so festive.
"The Emperor of the Sea- Big Mom Pirates! And the evil army- Germa 66! The young couple will connect their notorious families' paths to their dreams! Mariage de Raison!" the announcer declared. The sky cleared of clouds in one motion, revealing Sanji and Pudding in what used to be the candy thing. Now I could see that they were in a tea cup on a cloud. "With the two tying the knot, another flower of evil will bloom out madly in this world! Give it up for them! Give it up!"
Everyone threw their hands in the air. I nudged Katakuri in the leg, "If I marry you, do you think it'll be this cool?"
He didn't look down at me, instead continuing to look forward. "All of the tea parties are like this," he responded. "Wow."
"Wow," I hummed. Then I realized that he said what I just said. "Can you PLEASE stop doing that?" He didn't respond. I looked back up at Sanji and Pudding, who were floating across the sky above us. I could see Sanji's weird expression as Pudding pressed against his side. My nose scrunched at him. "Of course. That damn pervert..."
"Tough love~!"
"I've been in~!"
"Bitter love~!"
"I've been in~!"
"Fell in love, fell in deep, got hurt...~!
"And I've reached the aisle~!"
"Even if rain falls down on me~!"
"Even if spears rain down on me~!"
"Don't ever let that hand go~!"
"Head chef! Head chef!"
The short man in pink who was singing with his blue uniformed peers stabbed his sword into the ground and sang, "Here comes the congratulatoryyyyy..." the entire group joined in as he finished, "WEDDING CAAAAAAKE!"
The ground rumbled and then a huge wedding cake emerged out of it, the center of it being where the guy stabbed the ground. "That is seriously the most impressive thing I've ever seen," I gaped.
Everyone at the tea party began clapping and cheering for the magnificent cake. Even I joined in. Big Mom drooling at the sight of the sweet, and she gave praise to the head chef in pink. Meanwhile, Sanji and Pudding's cloud took them over to the top of the cake. The altar was at the final tier. I wonder where she's stashing her gun. Brook said she was planning to shoot him.
When they got to the altar, everyone had settled back down into a seat while I stayed standing with the tall man beside me. The Vinsmokes were at a lone table that was surrounded by powerful members of the Charlotte family. They had this entire thing planned out pretty well, for sure. Bege took their suits so they're in an even worse position if they try to fight back, which they will.
The priest stated it was time to begin the reception or whatever it's called, which was followed by him saying all the stuff they're supposed to say before you kiss the bride. I'll admit, I know next to nothing about weddings, but that doesn't matter.
Near the end of it, Katakuri seemed to be on alert about something. A huge woman came up and asked him what he saw. He must have saw into the future again. I slowly inched away from them, trying not to let them notice.
With my attention back on the altar, I saw Sanji reach forward to grab hold of her veil. Many of the siblings seemed to shift at the movement. I was getting antsy. Katakuri wasn't moving so he surely didn't see anything too important yet. When the blond on the altar managed to move her veil, he said something and... she fell to her knees. Isn't she supposed to be shooting him? Or attempting to?
"Screw you...!" Pudding sobbed out loud enough for everyone to hear. "Screw you! I'm gonna kill you! I'm an ugly freak!" I don't know who told her that, but clearly they're blind.
The priest pulled out a gun, and then Sanji moved to the side when Katakuri threw a jelly bean at him, resulting in the bean hitting the priest, and the priest shooting into the air. I don't think he even threw it. He flicked it and it was faster than a bullet.
Many guests stood up. "What was that gunshot?!"
"The priest fired!"
"No, he got shot!"
"Why?!"
"What's going on?!" Judge questioned through all of the voices.
Reiju stood up, "Is this-?!"
Katakuri looked down to me, "You stay put, and don't die. Mama will be unhappy." He then took off towards Big Mom, taking a defensive stance in front of her. So much for keeping me near him.
I spread my feet to keep myself up when a huge explosion went off, making the ground shake. Then, a bunch of Luffys busted out of the wedding cake. If I wasn't at the meeting earlier, I would be very confused. Luffy didn't even tell everyone about this weird plan of his. It was completely his idea to make a bunch of animal copies of him self.
"BIG MOM!" Luffy shouted cheerfully from the center of the copies. And of course, he had some cake in his mouth. I'm glad him being a distraction was part of the plan this time.
At this point, everyone is running, and the Charlotte family is very flustered. It's going as planned for now. I hope it stays this way. Now, time for me to get the hell out of here.
---Ayyyeeee~! How yall doing? I'm kind of.... stressed haha. But this was nice. Fun.
