Rocketman

Bruh I thought I published this prematurely for a fat minute there.. it only had a 1000 words..---

And thus, we were introduced to Rocketman.

Iceberg was already in there, to everyone's surprise and it seemed like he was fixing it up or getting it ready, which he confirmed as true. He said that our lives wouldn't be guaranteed if we took this train. We didn't mind and Luffy grabbed the steps to enter the train, but we all noticed he was looking a little weak. Didn't he get finger stabbed in the stomach earlier? What happened to all of that? I'm pretty sure Zoro got stabbed too.. what the hell are they? Actually I'm no better.

Nami showed up with food and booze minutes later with some guys with puffy hats. They looked at me, and then at Nami, and tapped their chins, talking about a love letter and a second woman along with a sixth and fifth man. "Paulie could never.." they both sighed out.

I dunno what their problem was, but I was eating some meat so it didn't matter much. "STRAW HAT!" a familiar voice shouted. Not a good familiar though. We all turned to see the Franky Family standing at the entrance of the underground station. We all got ready to fight until the one at the front yelled, "Please.. take us with you! I heard from the Galley-La people that you're going to Enies Lobby! Our bro, Franky, was taken in by the government! We want to go after them.. But we can't get through the Aqua Laguna by ourselves!"

Kokoro leaned out of the train to look at them, "It's the World Government you're up against." she said.

"It doesn't matter to us!" he cried out, tears and snot staining his face. All of the people behind him were the same way. Hey wait, I've seen those two girls before.. where? They begged to come with us, and Nami didn't show any mercy towards them. Eventually, they fell to their knees and sobbed, saying they just wanted to save Franky. Luffy climbed onto the steps he set up and jabbed his thumb at the train.

"Get on," he said simply. Nami tried to stop him, but the Franky Family already cheered and their leader for now already slammed his head to the floor in thanks. They took off right after that, saying they had King Bulls so they didn't have to take up space on the train with us.

We all climbed aboard, with Chopper going to the front to help Kokoro with coal, and the rest of us staying in the main body. Well, besides Luffy who decided to go and stand on the outside of the train. I cheered when the train finally took off, and I could hear our captain doing the same. We passed through some rough waves and Nami stuck her head out the window to see if Luff was alright when we heard him coughing. He was fine, as always. I threw my hands up and stuck my upper body out the window when the canal suddenly went downwards and shot out of the island, making us fly through midair. While that happened, the Franky Family showed up with some huge yagara. I fell when they smashed a bunch of hooks into the back of the train. Kokoro spoke through the speakers and told us to hold onto something because we would accelerate. Just as we did, I slammed into the back of the ship that didn't have a huge metal hook in it.

"HOLY SHIT!" I shouted in surprise, and then got even more surprised when Zoro fucking slammed into my stomach sideways. "WHY?!" I huffed out with the breath that he forced from me.

"It's not like I chose this!" he shouted back, falling back down after the surprise acceleration was over. I could hear Nami laughing her ass off a few feet from us.

Everyone gathered in the same part of the train as us and we sat down, having.. more people than I remember. Luffy and Chimney were both being scolded by Kokoro since they were outside when the train got on the railing. I leaned back in my seat and looked over everyone. Franky Family, Straw Hats, Kokoro and company, and.. Paulie? We all went around complaining about the sudden speed until Zoro finally spoke up.

"Wait a minute. There are some suspicious looking people in here," he hummed, eyes closed with his arms crossed.

"Oh? Who?" a huge bearded guy and a guy that had a spike of hair standing up off his head.

"You!" Paulie barked.

"You too!" Zoro shouted over the blond. 

While Paulie was explaining his situation and dealing with the two shipwright idiots, the two girls from the Franky Family turned their attention to me. They stared at me for a bit before pointing at me with a gasp. "What?" I asked.

"You're the girl from the bar! The one brother complimented!" they both said at the same time.

I tapped my chin, trying to remember, and then I popped myself in the head as the lightbulb in my brain finally decided to turn on and shine on my lost memory. "Ah! Right! He has crazy blue hair!" I recalled, hitting my palm with my fist. Luffy silenced the entire cart by stating that we all had the same enemy, even if we had past problems. He also declared that he would be the one to fight Lucci, since he's the strongest. We talked a bit, and then Chimney shouted that another Aqua Laguna was heading towards us. Nami told Kokoro to do something, but she said that she couldn't do anything after it was on the rails.

Luffy, Paulie, and a Franky Family guy all declared that we were now an alliance, though it was mostly Luffy who was talking. He then ordered everyone to work on taking the wave down. While the Franky Family was working to take down the wave with weaponry, Nami suddenly pulled the top of her shirt and looked in, saying that Sanji was calling her on a transponder snail. She.. put a snail in there?

Anyway, I waited in the cart while Zoro and Luffy finally went outside after many failed attempts to cut through the Aqua Laguna. I stuck my head outside to see what was happening since Nami was talking to Sanji, and I cheered when they busted a hole through the giant wave of water. There was cheering about it outside and then I heard a certain blond.

"Is that (y/n)-swan~?! Where is she?!"

I turned around at the calling and headed over to Nami who looked annoyed. "Hi Sanji! I almost died for a second there~!" I hummed, prompting him to freak out. Nami hit me upside the head, and the atmosphere got serious as she finally finished her story on what happened with Robin. Luffy slid in the cart through a window, and then Zoro came after him, kicking him out of the way.

"Luffy, come over here," Nami told him. The two of them came over, and Sanji explained that he heard the story from Nami of what was going on. Luffy gave him permission to do whatever he wanted. Zoro tried to tell him otherwise, but our captain said that no matter what Luffy said, Sanji would have fucked everyone up anyway with the information he has now. Hell, I would too. They try to take Robin? For what? Finally finding happiness? Bullshit. Sanji hung up right after that, confirming everything that his captain said.

After that, Nami magically pulled out a change of clothes for everyone. She shoved some clothes against my chest. "Here, I just brought you some of mine," she hummed. And then she literally changed her clothes in front of everyone. Luffy and Zoro didn't care at all, but the two shipwrights that came with Paulie, plus the Franky Family guy all cared a lot. Like too much. They fell over with nosebleeds after she was done. "Ready for battle!" she claimed, with basically a top that covered only her boobs, a mini skirt, and a very short denim jacket that at least had long sleeves. I had no problem with it besides the fact that it made NO SENSE to fight in that. That top must have some damn super human support for her to trust it so much.

"What's wrong with you, changing in here, you disgraceful woman!" Paulie scolded her with a red face. 

"Nice and ungraceful," all three nosebleeding men recited at the same time, falling to the floor.

She shrugged, "I have no other option, there's only one car."

"Cover your stomach and legs! You guys too! You guys are the ones that make society go downhill!" he was looking at the twins now too. He looked at me next, "Cover your legs! Disgraceful women!"

"Shut up, shy boy!" one twin said, pointing at him, followed by the other one repeating her actions and calling him a shy boy.

Kokoro laughed and drank a bit from her bottle, "Maybe I should change too!"

"Please save us the agony!" all three of the same men as before said simultaneously. She called them rude and I laughed a bit. I laughed more when I saw Luffy trying to stuff meat into his new black shorts, earning a scolding from Nami. Zoro seemed to have changed out of the white shirt he was wearing and instead wore a yellow open shirt will a collar. Always colorful. 

I then felt eyes boring into my back, causing me to look. Oh. Its the three guys. I looked at the clothes in my arms. Nami looked to me and grinned, "Go on, (y/n) just get changed!"

"Um.." my eyes moved to the men staring at me, "I'd rather not." She hit them all on the head and told them to turn around like a mother, and I laughed, about to pull my shirt over my head until I saw Zoro literally standing in the corner, his back to everyone. Ah why do I think it's cute? I stifled a laugh and watched Nami argue with Paulie about changing in here. Then I looked at Luffy who was staring at everyone, very confused. I placed a hand on his shoulder, saying, "Don't worry about it, Luffy, they're all weird. Just keep trying to stuff meat in your pocket." With that, he grinned and continued doing so. I pulled my shirt over my head and pulled on a black tube top along with some deep red overalls that were above mid-thigh.

 "Nami, I don't know if I'll be wearing your clothes again any time soon, but thanks, they are... comfortable," I hummed, looking over myself. I usually don't wear stuff like this, but whatever, it's about to get shredded on the battlefield anyway. I walked over to Zoro's stationary body and grinned. "Zoroooo.. don't turn around I'm naked, oh no!" I giggled out, seeing his ears turn red as he whipped around to look at me, seething.

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU, WOMAN?!" he shouted, being held back by the Franky sisters. I thanked them and then a rubber arm threw itself around my shoulders.

"(y/n)! We're matching!" Luffy chirped, grinning widely at me. I looked down and realized that yea, red and black, we were both wearing it. I smiled and nodded at him, then looked at Nami who was giggling behind her hand. Oh, she must have planned it. I rolled my eyes at her and then looked back at Luffy when he spoke again, "We should always do this!" he laughed out.

I chuckled and then looked back at my captain, "Yea, we could if you wanted to." He grinned and nodded before we were interrupted by Kokoro, who commented that we looked ready now with the clothes change. Luffy responded with a nod while he said it was all to get Robin back, and that we wouldn't lose.

"Hm? Nami, did you change your weapon?" the swordsman suddenly asked, walking right between me and Luffy, wedging himself between the nonexistent gap. I quirked a brow at him, but waited for Nami's answer instead when he didn't even look at me. Little bastard.

"Oh, yea, when we returned from Sky Island, Usopp worked with (y/n) to refine my previous weapon," she said with a grin.

"Ah, so Usopp.." Zoro began.

"Yes, Usopp!" Nami replied.

"Mhm, Usopp," I joined in.

We all smiled at each other for a minute until Nami and Luffy both stiffened and got sad, causing Zoro to tell them to not act so solemn. I chuckled and patted the swordsman's shoulder, "You're just too cold hearted, Zoro."

"Yea, right," he grunted, shrugging my hand off. 

I scrunched my nose, and then Luffy grabbed onto my hand and started walking towards a window. "Eh? Where are we going?" I asked, watching him open the window. It was when he climbed out and tried to pull me with him that I put my feet on the windowsill to ask again. "UH LUFFY WHERE YOU GOING?!"

He laughed his infamous laugh and stuck his head back in the window to look at me, still grabbing my wrist from when he tried to pull me. "We're going outside! To the front!" he said cheerfully.

"I DON'T WANNA GO OUTSIDE!" I shouted, shaking my head violently, "I'LL FALL OFF WITH MY LUCK!" Arms wrapped around my waist and tried to pull me back. I looked, seeing it was Nami. "NAMI SAVE ME!"

"I'M TRYING! LUFFY LET HER GO!" Nami ordered, trying to step back but Luffy's hold on my wrist was tight.

"Why? It'll be fine," he grinned. I was then yanked out of the train and onto the roof of it. He ran to the front and then laid on the pointy head of the train, motioning me over while laughing. "C'mon! It's better right here!" I was practically soaked from all the rain now. I heaved a heavy sigh and trudged to him, sitting behind him with my back partially against the headlight.

"Luffy I better not die up here," I raise my voice over the noise of the train and the rain. He looked behind him again and told me we wouldn't fall off, even if we were in a storm, the Aqua Laguna storm to be precise, and surrounded by a violent body of water that hates the fact that we ate a power filled fruit. I looked ahead and then blinked a few times when I saw the car of a train. "Is that what I think it is?" I hummed.

"Yup!" Luffy chirped, before calling out the news to everyone else. The others all rushed to squeeze out of a single window, and I chuckled a bit since all I could see was a bunch of frustrated faces. We were quickly informed by Franky Family man that there was no engine to the train, and that there was only two cars on the tracks that we could see. Everyone started freaking out about crashing, since we couldn't just blow it up without knowing who or what was in the train cars. Our captain answered the chaos by just sling shotting himself to the cars.

Franky Family man used his eye scope to see that Luffy put up an 'x' with his arms, which meant that no one of importance was there. I could hear him cheering with the shipwrights and other Franky Family members to get ready to take down the cars so that we could pass without exploding or something on impact. "Hey! Zoro!" our captain called from a distance. The green haired man perked up at that. "It's in the way! Cut it!"

"...Sure," the swordsman responded.

"SURE?!" the shipwrights and the FF(franky family) man shrieked, almost falling over.

Zoro ignored them and walked to the front, where Luffy previously was, and then crouched down, two swords in hand. "Two Sword Style- Iai..." we were about to crash into the ship but he quickly sliced through it, finishing what he was saying as we were passing through the middle, "..Rashomon!" He sheathed his swords after that and stood up straight. I grinned and patted his back violently, earning a, "What're you doing?"

Everyone started messing around behind us and I grinned at him, "I'm congratulating you for keeping us from dying a second time! Very nice!" I gave him a thumbs up, and he gave me a weird look in return. I looked ahead and my eyes widened. Zoro told everyone to stop messing around after that, and we passed through the corpse of a giant sea king. It was split right down the middle and three times bigger than than Rocketman. "I guess it's not over yet.." I mumbled.

He shook his head and tied his bandana around his head. "Nope."

---I really like the thought of Zoro facing a corner with his arms crossed like he was meant to do it his whole life.
