First Aid Kit
04:07, 5 August 2024Classes was over and it was technically later which meant I had a get together with Umbridge in her office which I would guess is going to be OCD perfect and pink like the rest of her.
That woman has serious problems brought by either her childhood or some neurological disorder, either way she is going to be a problem. Maybe it has to do with her parents, I still can't figure out where the parent thing I said came from.
(Lets just get this over with.) Professor Umbridges door came into view as I turned into the classroom, I moved closer and knocked.
"Come in." I opened the door, Umbridge sat at her desk. "Sit." She motioned to a small desk on the opposite side of her desk, I sat down, she stood up with a black quill. "You will be doing some lines for me today." She handed me a quill. "I want you to write, I must never speak out of turn."
I raised a brow. "Really?" She smiled, I looked to the paper. "Could have worded it better."(Well I guess I will be scar buddies with Harry.)I picked up my quill. "How many times?"
"Lets say, for as long as it takes for the message to sink in. You won't need any ink."
I rolled my eyes. "Yes, because it writes in your blood." I scoffed.
Umbridge smiled. "I must never speak out of turn." She tapped the paper then went back to her desk and sat down.
I sighed and started writing. |I must never speak out of turn.|
My left hand started to burn. The words I wrote on the paper appeared etched into the back of my hand. (This woman's a nutcase.)
"So tell me about yourself." I said as I wrote. "Is it true that you pretend your parents are dead? Because I have no reason where that came from." I glanced at her then back to my paper.
"It isn't your business, Miss Solace."
"Neither is my parentage to you. Yet you asked first day such a rude question." I relaxed my hand as the words were etched into my skin.
"Miss Solace." Umbridge huffed. "Write your lines in silence."
I hummed. "Of course, Miss Umbridge."
I continued writing until my hand numbed from the pain and my hand paled, I kept going but Umbridge thought that was enough and told me to stop.
She grabbed my paper and the quill. "I hope you have learned your lesson."
I stood up. "Sure." I walked to the door.
"Have you not?"
I turned to Umbridge. "We all have difficult pasts, Umbridge. My past involves a lot of pain, so this was a walk in the park." I opened the door, walked out, and closed it behind me.
(Bitch.) I looked at my hand where the words were etched in my handwriting.
"Liv." Mione stood up from the windowsill and closed her book. "Let me see."
I sighed. "Mione. I'm fine."
She took my hand gently and looked at it. "She is going to far."
I took my hand back. "She's a sadistic woman who loves power. Now, I need to go take care of this so it heals as nice as it can."
Mione nodded. "Do you want me to help?"
I shook my head. "I have done this by myself before and my first aid kit is in my room." Mione frowned, I linked our arms and walked down the hall. "I love how you worry for me but you don't have to."
"If I don't then who will?"
"I don't need people to worry to much about me. Especially with small things like this." I held up my hand. Mione gave me the look of motherhood, I smiled. "Thank you for caring though. I promise I am fine and once I get back to my room I'll patch it up."
"Alright." She sighed. "But if you need help I am here."
We turned the corner that split two ways, one the stairs to the dungeons and the other to the Great Hall. "I'll see you at dinner." I let go of her arm.
"Alright." She smiled, I smiled and walked away, she then walked to the great hall.
I walked down the steps and to the entry. "Pureblood." The door opened and I walked in, Draco was sitting on the leather couch with Pansy next to him, Draco obviously trying to ignore her.
Draco saw me. "Solace." He stood up and walked to me. "What happened with Umbridge?"
I held up my hand, Draco looked closer and his eyes widened. "She has a quill that carves what you write into your hand." I dropped my hand back down. "I'm fine though. Just need to clean it and patch it up."
"Why not go to the infirmary?" Draco asked.
Pansy came to his side and crossed her arms. "Maybe you should try and keep your mouth shut for once."
I ignored her. "I can handle it. Wouldn't be the first injury I have taken care of." I shrugged.
Draco put his hands in his pocket. "Want me to help?"
Pansy grabbed his arm and tried to pull him away. "She said she can handle it herself." Draco's eye twitched.
I smiled. "I would love some help if you wish to offer your services."
"Gladly." Draco moved out of Pansy grasp. "I'll meet you in my room." He walked to the boys side of the dorms.
Pansy glared at me, I smiled. "Maybe if you would stop being so clingy he wouldn't hate your company."
"You will never get him. I've known his family since we were born, you are nothing but a filthy bloodtraitor." She brushed my shoulder as she walked onto the doorway that leads out of the common room.
I rolled my eyes and walked up to my room, grabbed my first aid kit and walked to Draco's room. "Draco?" I knocked.
The door opened. "Come in."
I walked in and smiled as I looked around. "You put up pictures."
Some family photos with his mom and asshole father, other photos of the quidditch team, people who I didn't recognize. There was other decorations like a small snitch on a stand and then a mini Nimbus 2001 statue that was on his desk.
Draco shrugged and sat in his sitting area. "Only a few items."
I walked over and picked up a photo of his mother. "She is beautiful, I see where you get your kind eyes from."
"Don't go rearranging everything." Draco said in a nice way.
I smiled and put down the photo. "Can I use your bathroom sink. I need to wash my hand off." I walked over to him.
Draco pointed to the bathroom. "Go ahead." I put the red first aid kit on the coffee table. "What's that?"
I walked into the bathroom. "A muggle healing kit. If you want you could take out the small package labeled gaze and then the wrap, it's skin color." (Well, my skin color. Your kind of on the pale side.)
I heard the zipper open and the crinkle of a package being moved. I ran cool water over my cuts which felt nice and washed around it.
"This is very well organized."
I turned the water off and patted my hand dry. "If it was unorganized it would be useless in a real emergency." I walked over to him and sat down. "I need this as well." I grabbed the ointment.
Draco raised a brow. "What's that?"
I twisted the cap open. "This is a muggle healing ointment. It isn't as fast as wizarding medicine but it does the job." I squeezed some on my hand and closed the cap then placed it back where it goes in the bag.
"Why not go to the infirmary?"
I shrugged. "I'm not a baby like some people." I looked at him as I rubbed the ointment evenly on my hand, Draco rolled his eyes. "Plus I have handled worse than this before. I can handle this by myself."
"Why ask me to help then?"
"You asked and it looked like you needed help to escape the clutches of your girlfriend." I chuckled under my breath. "Can you open the gaze package?"
"Yea." Draco ripped the top off and I pulled out the gaze. "She isn't my girlfriend, you know."
"Does she know that?" I put it on my cuts and grabbed the wrap. "She's awfully clingy for a friend." I held the beginning of the wrap with the injured hands thumb.
"Pansy is just.. Pansy." Draco eyed my one handed work. "I can do it if you need."
I looked at him. "Um... Sure." I handed the wrap to him. "Not to tight, just enough to hold the gaze in place without cutting off circulation."
Draco wrapped my hand by my directions on which way to move the wrap as he wounded it around my hand. "Is that tight enough?"
I nodded and moved my fingers would. "It's perfect. Thank you." I picked up the gaze package and closed up the first aid kit. "I guess you can be my emergency healing assist if I need."
Draco huffed. "Why don't you just stop getting in these situations?"
"I think you know. Plus she is... You know what she wanted on the first day?" Draco raised a brow. "She wanted to know if I would harm the students because of who my father is."
"She.." Draco's brows furrowed.
I smiled. "Yea... Plus she is sadistic naturally, it's just hidden behind that smile she plasters on her face." I stood up with my bag. "I'll see you tomorrow?"
Draco stood up and put his hands in his pockets. "Yea."
I nodded. "Thank you again for your assistance."
"Yea." Draco walked around me and to the door. "Do go about telling everyone I actually helped someone though." He opened the door.
I rolled my eyes and walked to him. "Obviously. I can't ruin your asshole reputation."
Draco rolled his eyes. "Bye, Solace."
I huffed. "Bye, Pureblood." Draco rolled his eyes, I smiled and walked away, he shut his door.
