This is a newt and thomas fanfic let me know what you think. This was originally on my old acount which was cupcake303_ so the stories will be the same.

I bolted upright. Around me sat about 20 more boys, half of them unconcious, the other half sitting in a corner talking. I went over to the group of boys who were awake and sat down, trying to be friendly.

"Hey." I said.

"Do you remember your name?" One of the boys asked. Now that I tried to find my name, I found that I didn't remember anything, except my name.

"Newt." I said.

"Ok Newt. This is Alby and Frypan. I'm Minho." Said a tall Asian boy.

By now, all of the boys in the the steel room were awake. Just then the room came to a screeching halt. Literally. The ceiling, or what I mistook to be one, flew open. Above us, was a clear blue sky. We climbed onto the steel barrels and climbed out of the room. Around us looked like normal nature scenery besides the four huge concrete walls that completely surrounded us. Each wall had a gap in it leading out somewhere else. Two buildings stood in the center of the clearing.

"I guess we're starting a new life."

**About Two Years Later**

Someone new joined us every month via The Box. People explored the Maze during the day and came back before the walls closed at night. Everyday was the same prosses. I hate this place. Last month, the day another boy came, I climbed one of the walls and jumped off trying to kill myself. I hate this place. All my jump did was break my leg. Now I walked with a limp. I still remembered one thing from before that day in the box. At least one word, er, name. The bell that signaled that someone new was on their way up to the Glade. Alby went to pull the Box open and I saw him. The boy I remembered.

"Thomas?"
