Shadow Moth's Downfall

I got out of bed and used the wall to hold me up as I walked over to the windows. The sky was grey and black, dark and cold and there on the Eiffel Tower was Shadow Moth. Akumas and red butterflies scattered everywhere across the city waiting to akumatize any vulnerable citizen in sight. Some large giants popped up out of no where one after the other and some down below the building and on the streets. Some I recognised.

They were all scarlet in colour and roared like titans so tall in the sky as they marched across the city. I saw my friends plus the Waynes out in action. I knew I needed to do something but in my current state, I'm not worthy of the battle. I sighed, turning to Tikki, "Tikki, we need to stall him and help the others. Spots On!" I transformed, grabbing my yo-yo and opening the middle section. I pulled out a few pieces of jewellery.

The miraculouses of the Turtle, Fox, Tiger, Monkey, Horse, and the Ox. I called on the kwamis and they appeared. "I'm sending you to find the Waynes and chose whoever bonds with you. Choose wisely and don't get caught." They all nodded, taking their miraculous and flew out the window. Ladybug detransformed, coughing as she fell to the ground. She heavily panted, searching through the darkness finding the kwamis flying away.

"Well Tikki, let's hope they find them in time.." ~~~~~~~~~~

Waynes POVThe kwamis flew around the entire city looking for the guys. They finally found them and flew right up to them, calling them away. They hid in the sewers and ran through the halls finding a little broom closet. They entered and watched the kwamis.

Wazz: Ladybug sent us to find you. She needs a bit of time before she could join the battle.

Trixx: So she sent us to help you stall for her.

Jason: Don't tell me..-

Dick: That we're gonna be..-

Tim: Heroes!?

Stompp: One of you guys could've said it in one go but yeah, basically.

Roarr: Ladybug said for us to choose our new holders so don't get frustrated when you don't get the miraculous you wanted.

Kaalki: Well, what are we waiting for?

Xuppu: I wanna go first!

The other kwamis watched him as he flew towards Jason. "I pick you!" He fisted his hand saying 'yes!' placing on the miraculous. The other kwamis joined in as Stompp went to Bruce, Roarr went to Selina, Dick got Trixx, Tim got Wazz and finally Damian got Kaalki. They all transformed and exited the sewers to meet up with the others.

Queen Bee: You six look utterly ridiculous. Except for you, magenta panther.

Panthera: Thanks.

Bullock: So, what's the plan?

Viperion: Well, the cat hasn't showed up yet so we were waiting for him.

Reynard: Well we better get moving, we need to stall for blueberry.

Percheron: I feel the need to go check up on her. Maybe I should..-

Shell-Jock: No, cupcake gave us the miraculouses because she knew what she was doing. We and you, demon, need to trust her.

Humanoid: He's right, demon spawn. Trust pixie-pop, she just wants the best for the city and us.

Ryuko: Well, the cat finally managed to arrive. He'll be skeptical at first so we'll deal with him. In the meantime, Deal with damage control. Don't worry.

And with that, the three jumped off to meet Chat on a near rooftop. Once they landed, they spoke and headed towards the Eiffel Tower. The Batfamily moved from their positions to the streets evacuating everyone and as much people as they could. They lead them into the hotel and spaced them out around the building while Shell-Jock protected the the area with his shield (he is an adult).

Percheron kept looking at the hospital where Marinette was stationed at but he needed to focus on the civilians. Moments later, one of the 'titans' grabbed the building and lifted it off the ground. Damian's eyes widely opened in horror. He called on his power and left through the blue rift. He got there but just in time to see it push it over. He could hear people screaming on the inside But didn't know how to stop it from hitting the ground.

Strings wrapped around the exterior of the building like a spider's web that held it up. He turned to see Marinette on the building behind him trying to hold it up. Percheron ran up to her and helped hold it up. They slowly dropped it safely on the ground. She retracted her yo-yo but then fell to her knees coughing up blood. Damian held her back then picked her up dodging the attack. "What the hell is wrong with you!? That was way too risky!"

She glared at him then pushed out of his grip. "Says the one who was just staring, doing nothing to at least try to stop the building from falling. I have no time for this, I have a city to save." She reached her yo-yo out and swung away to the Eiffel Tower where the real battle was happening. If I want this to end, I'll need to cut the head off the snake. Some of these villains especially the giants storming the city, are sentimonsters.

MarinetteI was close to the Eiffel Tower when I heard Queen Bee scream. She was falling from the top of the tower while Viperion was holding onto a hurt Ryuko and Chat was being held by his throat by none other than Shadow Moth himself. I felt Damian behind me. Before he could speak I gave him an order, "Catch her before she hits the ground, I'll deal with Chat!" I swung up the Tower behind the villain's distracted back.

Thankfully, Damian caught her and so it was my turn. I landed behind him and swiftly swiped Chat away, slightly bumping the villain at the same time. He was shocked. "Finally, now give up your miraculous, Ladybug." I grinned as I held up the peacock broach. His eyes widened as he panicked losing part of his outfit returning to the original moth costume. I opened my yo-yo and dropped it in. "Thanks for saving me the trouble of fixing it, Hawky."

He grit his teeth bringing out his staff. He launched himself at me as I pushed Chat away. We fought as I backflipped away avoiding his blade. I then used my yo-yo to shield myself turning to Chat. "Go help Viperion and Ryuko then check on Queen Bee!" He reluctantly nodded and jumped down the tower. But while I was distracted, Hawk Moth kicked me in my stomach as I went flying back into one of the pilars.

I coughed up a bit blood then sprung out of his line of attack. "You're already weak Ladybug. Just give up and this could all end peacefully." I rolled my eyes, "Like if it would all end peacefully. After you make that wish, something bad will happen in return. Are you really gonna risk everything?" He paused then looked up with his blade pointed toward me. "Yes, I'll do anything to make my wish." ~~~~~

Waynes POVMostly all the civilians were in the hotel but at that same point in time, Shell-Jock noticed that Percheron was missing. "Uhh, guys...the demon's gone.." Reynard and Humanoid came running outside to meet him. "What do you mean he's gone?" Reynard asked worriedly. Humanoid responded, "You were supposed to keep an eye on him dude." Tim gagged at his comment. But they all stopped when they saw some of the giants disappear and their feathers turn dormant-white.

They sky returned to normal but still had a hint of purple within the clouds. Bullock and Panthera joined them outside as they noticed the fight going on on the Eiffel Tower. They hurriedly went over to tower but on their way over, they had to deal with the akumatized persons. They finally got through the barricade to see Percheron, Chat, Viperion, Ryuko and Queen Bee at the bottom of the Tower.

Shell-Jock ran over to Queen Bee as he held her in his arms. Damian got up looking up at the top. He heard weapons clashing and panting and the scent of skin about to cave in and tear...was everywhere. It flooded his senses. Chat was on his way up the Tower but then there was a crash on the ground in front of them with Ladybug on top of Hawk Moth. But...he had stabbed her right in the stomach.

Hawk Moth: *pants* I'm still n-not giving up..

Ladybug: I need to ask you something... Would you kill the for the one you love?

Hawk Moth: ...I would do anything for the one I love.

Ladybug: Even...change yourself just to be with them?

Hawk Moth: If I must change for her then I will.

Ladybug: But what about the people around you... How do you think they'll feel?

Hawk Moth: If they were my friends, colleagues, then they'll have to respect my wishes.

Ladybug: I see. Mr. Agreste..you're trying to bring your wife back to life but probably at the cost of your son. He is also the most precious thing to you and you will lose him if you go through with your plan. Are you ready to risk that?

Hawk Moth: I-I..- I don't...

He glanced over to Chat whose face went pale. He looked back at Ladybug who watched him with such sincerity in her eyes, but they were also red. He looked over at Adrien then spoke, "I'm sorry Adrien, I didn't mean to hurt you like this. All I wanted was to bring your mother back and make us whole again but I should've just been happy and thankful for what I did have. I understand if you don't forgive me but I want you to live your life the way you've always wanted."

Chat's mouth twitched as tears welled up in his eyes. He then took off his broach and gave it to Ladybug making his staff disappear from her stomach. "She must've been an amazing woman if you would stab a teenager for their jewellery. *smiles*" He got up and looked at Adrien one more time. Ladybug then called on her powers, "Lucky Charm!" but nothing appeared. Her eyes widened. Everyone was looking at each other confused.

She then looked up and said the words, "Miraculous Ladybug!" The magical ladybugs shot through the sky and scattered across the city. Everything went back to normal. The police soon arrived and took Gabriel away. The two Agrestes looked at each other before Cat Noir ran up to hug him before the officer took him away. He then walked over to Ladybug and hugged her too.

Chat: I'm so so so very sorry m'lady...

Ladybug: What for?

Chat: For bringing you into this mess. With my father..and Nathalie and now y-you're hurt and..-

Ladybug: Hey, hey, it's fine. I swear. It doesn't hurt that much, I promise. Just..don't disappoint your dad and just live your life. Adrien, you deserve everything just as much as the rest of us. Go and be yourself. B-because you'll.. nev..-er k-kno....w..

And with that she fainted. The blood kept coming out from her stomach and it wouldn't stop. Damian went up to her and snatched her from his arms taking her back to the hospital before she could detransform. But Chat grabbed his shoulder, "Wait! When she wakes up, can you tell her I said sorry...and Thank you?" Percheron nodded as Chat said, "Take good care of her." The batfamily plus the three supers hurried back to the hospital and had her checked out along with themselves too.
