The ship lands in Sakovia.

"You are NOT to leave this ship. If we need you out there, we will call you" Tony says as his suit connects.

You snarl and finish pulling controls, "Fine."

"So," Pietro leans against the wall next to you. "While you may not be allowed out of here, can I take you out when this is all done?"

You turn and press your lips together in a smile, "I think we can arrange that, Speedy."

"Lovely," he takes your hand and kisses it before walking to the gate.

This catches everyone's attention, and Tony gives you a look.

"What? I am NOT going out with the fossil, Robin Hood, or Jeckyl and Hyde. Please; they're all like my other brothers," you pretend to have a chill in disgust at the thought.

"We will discuss this later," Tony rolls his eyes.

You put on a fake smile, "No we won't. Or...YOU will, and I'll just tune you out like I usually do."

He sighs, "Y/N...."

"Relax. I know. Now," you tap Tony's arm. "Go kick some ass, Iron Maiden."

A smirk appears on Tony's face as his mask closes, "I hate you."

Now you pat his mask, "Love you too."

Around 20 minutes later, the team is arguing over comms, "Fine. FINE!" Tony yells over everyone. "Y/N?"

You press the button so you can speak, "What's up?"

Steve chimes in, "We need your help. There's a building not far from the jet. Get as many people out of there as you can!"

"On it!" you grab an ear piece and head out.

You're ushering people towards safety, out of the city, when the entire city begins to shake.

"Get off of the bridge!" Wanda yells.

The next thing you know, the whole city begins to lift into the sky, "Tony! What the hell is going on?!"

"Ultron is turning the city into a meteor. Once it gets high enough...global extinction," you can almost hear the gears turning in Tony's head as he explains.

"Stark, you worry about bringing the city down safely. The rest of us have one job; tear these things apart. You get hurt? Hurt them back. You get killed? Walk it off," Steve takes charge as he fights.

Everyone continues to fight, as you guide people into one of the buildings.

"What do we have now Stark?" Steve asks, his tone a lot more exhausted than before.

There's a pause before Tony responds, "Maybe a way to blow up the city, if you guys can get clear."

"Not until everyone is safe!" you yell into your earpiece.

"We're not leaving everyone here!" Nat echoes your thoughts. "There are worse ways to go. Besides, look at that view." She looks out over the edge of the city, down.

Suddenly everyone is interrupted by Fury's voice, "Glad you like the view, Romanoff. It's about to get even better."

A SHIELD ship emerges from the clouds, with mini rescue capsules landing on the city.

"Y/N?" Steve calls to you.

"Already on it!" you get as many people onto ships as possible, while the Avengers continue to battle Ultron and his army.

Nat and Clint arrive in a car a while later, Steve not far behind, "Is that everyone?"

"Yea," you say, but then see Clint take off back into the city. "Clint!" Blasts start coming down, and you see him holding a child, so you run towards him.

Just when you're about to reach them, something you can't see pushes you back, and then stops in front of Clint and the child, just as the blasts do.

The dust settles, and you slowly walk closer. That's when you see Pietro.

"Bet you didn't see that coming," Pietro collapses to the ground with multiple holes in his body, covered in blood.

You and Clint stare in complete horror, and it feels like your lungs are shrinking.

Nat runs over to you, "Hey. Come with me. Let's go."

"No. No. No. No. No," you repeat over and over again. "We cant jus..."

Before you can finish, Bruce lifts you and Nat up to the SHIELD ship, and then continues back to the jet you arrived on.

You run to one of the windows, "NO! We need to go back down there! He's...!"

Nat calmly leads you back to a bench, "I know. But Steve and Clint have it under control. Let's get some water."

You reluctantly take a sip, and for the remainder of the trip back to New York, you say nothing to anyone. All you can see is Pietro when you close your eyes.

Hours later, when everyone gets inside the tower, Loki is sitting in the main room reading.

"If ONE thing is broken or moved, Reindeer Games, you're going back to Asgard," Tony eyes the room on the way to the kitchen.

Loki says nothing and just rolls his eyes as Thor joins him.

You walk to the bar and pour yourself a drink, which you down in one gulp.

Tony goes to Nat and the team now sitting around the living room as well, "Y/N hasn't said a word. What the hell happened back there?!"

"Y/N was there when Pietro..." Nat trails off, looking at Tony, but not directly until the end of her sentence.

Tony's eyes widen and he runs a hand over his face, "Y/N's...in a state of silent shock."

Everyone looks at Tony.

"Last time this happened....it lasted almost a month," he says almost as a whisper.

"Last time?" Steve asks what everyone else wants to.

Pepper had joined shortly after everyone returned, "Tony..." She gives him a warning look.

"It's..." Tony shakes his head. "Not my place to tell you. Y/N will tell you when they're ready."

You had gone to pour yourself some water, but you zoned out again, causing it to overflow. In frustration, you throw the cup into the garbage and slam the lid shut before walking to your room.

You don't know how long after, but you've been staring out of your window.

"Hi," Tony says from your doorway.

You keep your back to him.

"You don't need to say anything," Tony takes a few steps inside. "Nat already explained what happened."

Your shoulders drop in relief.

"You need to understand that none of this was your fault. You saved a LOT of lives today, Y/N," Tony stands just a few feet behind you.

You still don't turn around, but you listen to everything he says.

"We're all here if you want to talk," Tony sighs. "I'll bring dinner to you later."

Tony turns to walk away, but you finally turn around and touch his arm to stop him.

When he wordlessly turns around, asking if you're alright, just by the look on his face, all you can do is wrap your arms around Tony, which causes him to smile.

You pull away after a few seconds, and Tony leaves.

About an hour later, you have dinner, but then you can't sleep.

You take the elevator to the main room and walk onto the balcony for some fresh air.

"I do not remember requesting company," a voice says to your right.
