Magnus' 24 hour Hotel and Hospital

(Pipers pov)We rushed Luke and Ashlynn into Magnus' right away.

"Magnus!" Jace yelled, Magnus came walking into the room not relizing what he was getting himself into.

"What is it- oh my god Ashlynn, Luke! Set him down over here" Magnus walked over to the couch as, Clary, Simon and I brought him down on the couch.

"Here Jace follow me we'll put Ash over here" Jace followed him out of the room.

"Hey Clare's?" I said, she looked up at me with tears in her eyes, I pulled her into a hug, she might have been pissing me off and might have hurt Ashlynn and Luke but she's my sister, biological or not, I have to protect her.

"Hey shhh it's going to be okay, Magnus will help Luke and Ashlynn, don't blame yourself blame that stupid alpha who's an idiot-" she chuckled at me, "I know this has been hard on you and I haven't exactly been the sister you've needed. But I have just been worried about everything, but please when you do something try and make smarter choices? You keep doing stuff that you're not thinking about the consequences and I don't want you getting hurt" I tell her, she sniffled and hugged me tighter.

"I'm sorry, I just don't really know how this world works, do you think they will be okay?" She asked, I nodded as Simon held Clary and the guys walked in, then Luke started mumbling

"Jocelyn""No, Luke, it's Clary and Piper" Clary said

"Can you hear me? Clary, Piper, listen to me, listen you have to listen to me. I have to tell you, just in case-" Luke starts

"No, don't even say it, don't." Clary says-"No, listen to me.""Luke.""No, you need to know! Listen"

" Was he bitten by an alpha?" Magnus askes

" Yeah, why?" Clary says

"Three, two, one" Magnus counts down when his eyes turned another colour and he growls,

"Oh, my God. Where do you think you're going?" I ask

"Hold him down. We don't have a lot of time. It'll take a few moments to take effect." Magnus says and puts bark between his teeth.

"What's happening to him?" Clary askes

"Random werewolf transformation. It's a side effect of the poison in the alpha bite." Magnus says and tells us we can go.

I was checking on Ash with Jace, he's barely left her side, it worries me seeing someone care for her so much, especially after Hunter and Aaron.

"Hey Jace?" I said, he didn't respond, he didn't even break eye contact. "It's not your fault, what happened with Ashlynn, you couldn't have done anything" he looked up, tears were starting to form in his eyes.

"I can't believe it-" his voice was breaking "- I could've tried to find them quicker, I could've talked her out of staying, she was just trying to help and now look at her," he breathes. I hugged him,

"She'll be fine, she's so strong. Do you blame me and Alec for what happened?" I asked him. He looked at me and shook his head

"No, I'm mad at Alec because instead of helping two innocent people who are close to death he decides to report to Maryse, but I'm not mad at you" Jace says, I smile at him and leave him with Ashlynn, it's been a while since someone has cared for her as much as Jace does and that has me slightly worried.

FlashbackI heard very loud knocking at my door. I opened to see Ashlynn,

"Oh my gosh Ash are you okay?" I had asked her, she was covered in bruses. She shook her head. "Who did this?"

"Hunter did this-" she looked like she was about to colapes " h-he got mad at me then did this,

"That little bastered, when I get my hands on him-" I had said angrily

"No! Listen as much as I would love for  you to kick his ass, it'll just be worse, he'll do it again" she said shyly

"Does Aaron know?" I asked, she had shook her head. Aaron was her best friend beside me and already had beaten up boyfriends in the past for her. He didn't trust Hunter but Ash did, so he delt with the guy. Ashes phone rang.

"Hello, oh my god do you know what happened? I can't believe it, where is he now? Alright I'm on my way with a friend of ours" she ends the call, tears were forming in her eyes.

"What happened?" I asked her,"Aaron's in the hospital, they don't know if he'll live" I remember choking on the air, how could that have happened to such a kind and loving person

"Did they say why he was there?" I had asked her. She stayed silent for a few minutes.

"Hunter put him there"

"You okay? Hey it's me. I know how much he means to you." Simon said as I walked back into the room, Jace following a couple minutes after me.

"How could I have doubted him? Simon, he's He's the only father I've ever known. I can't lose him." Cleary said

"I get a good vibe from this Magnus Bane guy. He seems like he knows what he's doing." Simon reassures her,

"The bark will stop the transformation for now, but Luke needs an antidote to stop the poison in his system. And I don't have all the ingredients here." Magnus said

"Just tell me what you need and how to get it." Clary said

"No, you stay here. Luke will need you if he wakes up." Magnus said

"Okay tell me what you need and I'll get it, I can get anything for Ash as well" I said

"No, you're Lukes daughter, and the only one here not injured that knows about potions, you're needed here more if he wakes up" Magnus states

"When he wakes up." Cleary corrects.

"I'll go" Simon says followed with

"I'll go" from Thomas walking in

"Thomas, what happened to you?" Magnus asks, I scoff already knowing the answer.

"Luke's car may have found its way into a pole while I was stashing it. I don't do mundane driving." Thomas states

"Seriously, he doesn't" I state.

"Yeah, apparently." Clary says

"What do you need for the antidote?" Thomas asks

"Hey, I got this." Simon states

"Phoenix eyes, moon salt, and Idris fulgurite." Magnus says

"One trip to the pharmacy, it'll take two seconds." Simon says

"I know a guy. And, uh I don't need him." Thomas says

"Too bad. You're getting me, and I thought we were friends?" Simon says

"We'll be right back." Thomas says

"One more thing. I need Alexander." Magnus says

"Uh, why do you need Alec?" Jace asks

"Virgin Shadowhunter energy." Magnus states

"That explains so much." Thomas mumbles

"Um, Alec, yeah I can't." Jace says

"Jace, just ask, please. You guys need to talk." I say

"Trouble in paradise?" Magnus asks

"Just don't speak to me." Jace replies. As Thomas and Simon left, Jace turns to Magnus

"What does Ashlynn need?" Magnus quickly leaves the room then 2 minutes later he comes back.

"Everything I need is here, Piper I need you stirring these together" he has a bunch of ingredients in a bowl. I started stirring the bowl as we poured it into a needle and a glass.

"You need to put the needle is her biggest wound on her stomach, then pour the potion into her mouth." Magnus states. Jace takes the needle then walks off "he has me worried for how much he cares for her" Magnus continued,

"Same, I'll go feed her the potion" I say and walk to the doorway and stop. Jace put in the needle just like he was supposed to, then started talking to her.

"Please be okay Ashlynn, you don't realize how much you mean to me. We need you to be okay.. I.. I need you to be okay" Jace says, he was holding her hand with tears once again forming in his eyes.

"She will be" I say making myself known "Okay, I mean. Shes a strong girl, she'll power through" I walk over and feed her the potion.

"I believe you, it's just, she's so amazing, I didn't realize how much I care for her until now really, I need her to be okay" he says softly.

"You know, at first I was worried about how much you care for her. She's been through a lot and I've seen people be broken because of how they feel towards her. She already lost a big part to being a warlock and I hate seing her broken like this" I say.

"Wait what do you mean lost a part of being a warlock?" He asked.

"Listen you didn't hear it from me, but, when her mom found out she was pregnant, she got a warlock to transfer the baby to a pendant, and the baby would be born at a certain time, 19 years ago, the pendants time was up, and Ashlynn was born. Shes  extremely powerful but when she was 11, to save Magnus she had to give up a big part of her, she- she gave up her immortality Jace! She ages like a normal human being and she can't get it back" I told him as the tears streamed down my face. He hugged me and told be it was going to be okay,

"Hey I need to go call Alec, get him to help, but you watch her, make sure everything is going to be okay" he tells me, I nod and he leaves the room.

"Oh Ash why did you let this happen, why is it only you that ends up like this?" I ask myself,

"I don't try to, it just happenes" a voice said, I look up to see Ashlynn awake squinting,

"Ashlynn you're awake!"I say

"No really, what makes you say that? What happened after I went unconscious?" She asked me, I explained to her what happened then she started fussing.

"Piper, Magnus needs my help taking care of Luke, let me leave" Ash stated,

"No, you need to rest, I don't care if Mag needs help or not" I say firmly, then Jace walks in.

"I called Alec he'll be coming- Ash you're awake?!" He rushes to her side and gives her a bone crushing hug.

"Ya I'm okay Jace, uhh Jace losing air support now" she manages to get out as he let's go of her chuckling nervously

"Right, sorry" he said sheepishly. She smiled at him,

"It's okay Jace, can I go help my brother now?"She asked,

"No" we both said, I looked at Jace who was very serious now

"Ashlynn Bane you almost died you are not going to help your brother you are going to rest" Jace said sternly

"Jacee, come on he needs my help, you've got to be kidding me" she said, not very happy that she can't help and he won't let her help.

"I don't care, you were hurt more then everyone else so you need to rest" he said very annoyed that she won't listen to him and rest.

"Uhh fine whatever" she said pouting, I left them and Alec runs in as Magnus is trying to stable my dad, Alec was lending his energy to help my dad as Thomas and Simon just got back in time to give dad the cure. He had the cure and was resting, Alec walked over to me,

"I'm sorry I didn't come in the first place, I don't want you to loose your dad but I insisted on going back to my mother" Alec said

"Alec it's okay, you were raised to go back to her instead of helping downwordlers, it's not your fault" I say

"But it is, I don't want to be like my mother, she doesn't care and I don't want to be like that, I want to show my emotions" Alec stated, staring off into space.

"Then show your emotions, you don't need to hide them. I care about you and I can tell you'll snap at any minute because you aren't showing your emotions, you're containing them" I state and Alec hugs me

"Thank you, nobody has ever really paid attention that much to tell. I don't want to hide my emotions anymore" Alec says and looks like he's debating something.

"You okay Alec?" I ask and he just ignores me, I get up to leave and he grabs my wrist turning me to be very close to his body.

"Wait" he whispers.
