Chapter 15 - 12 Years

LUNA POV

Today was the day me, mother and father, were moving to Magnolia. I was so amped and excited, that I could not wait. I darted over to my closest and grabbed my backpack that was sitting on the ground in front. Tossing  it onto my bed, where a pile of clothes were sitting.

Immediately, I begin to pack the remainder of my things, before zipping my bag closed. I looked around my empty room, scanning to see if I could spot anything else that I might  have over looked. Nothing. Slinging my bag over my shoulder, I reached for the door handle, twisting it one last time, the door popping opened, stepping out into the hall way I took one last glance over my shoulder, before closing the door behind me. This is really happening , we are finally leaving this place.

I made my way into the kitchen where father and mother were. "I'm ready!" I said, nervously, as I fidgeted with my skirt.

Both my parents looked at me, smiling. "Okay lets go!"

TIME SKIP (4 Days)

Finally we made it to Magnolia. It was so beautiful, as we stood on the hillside. My hair dancing in the wind, as it gently brushed passed me. I scanned the township, it was so massive, enormous, compared to my hometown. This is literally he very first time I have even been to other town, let alone see anything this remarkable. This is amazing.

As we made our way closer to the township, all the towns people were staring at us. But I wasn't phased one bit. I was way too focused, at just how amazing everything looked. The towns folk, were so lively, the street packed with venders, performers, the vibrant colors, the different smells, even unpleasant ones. There was so much to take it and process, that I was going to explode. This town had it  all, the voices of the little child playing, as they ran, through the street.

"Luna, this way." Mother called out. As I was getting caught up in all the extravagant things.

But how could I not. Mother and father,  kept me sheltered for the passed 16, nearly 17 years of my life.

"Yeah" I shouted back. I twirled around, taking in everything. Before running to catch up to mother and father.

We then made it to our new home. Father opened the door and in a darted, throwing my bag on the ground. I then began to head for the front door.

"I'll be back soon" I shouted, catching a glimpse of mother and father.

"Luna, Wait!" Mother and father called out, as they rushed to me.

Huffing and puffing I looked back at them. "What is it?" "There is something we need to tell you first." The both of them staring at me. Puzzled, I wasn't sure what was going on.

"Come sit down." Mother gesturing me to sit beside her on the sofa. Cautiously I made my over, taking a seat. Father plonked down beside me.

Mother laced her hand with mine. "Okay, the both of you are acting weird." I say, as I shrink down into the sofa.

Mother giggled. "I know you are so eager to see all of Magnolia, but before you go anywhere, me and your father need to tell you something. So please just listen until then, and we will answer all your questions."

I shifted my gaze from mother to father and back again. They both held the same expression, they looked worried.

I sighed. "Okay."

Mother squeezed my hand tighter. While dad rubbed my bad, just like when I was little.

"Me and your father use to live here in Magnolia. We were once apart of the strongest guild.............. Fairy Tail. Fairy Tail was my family. They accepted me and I made so many happy memories with everyone. I love them all.  Fairy Tail was my home." Mother took a deep breath.

"That is how we know Aunty Erza....... But because, things became a little complicated. I had just been dumped, by the person I trusted with my whole heart. I loved him, more than anything, he was the person I never wanted to be separated from.....But after a week of the break up, I was really sick, not knowing that at that time. I was actually pregnant."

Mother looked me dead in the eyes. "Uncle Loke found me and I was rushed to the hospital..... I-I-I thought I lost you." Mother's voice was breaking. "I was so depressed, that I wasn't able to bare the thought of staying in a place that was will soon remind me of the heart break and lost of my unborn child. So I-I left the guild and wanted to get as far away from ever-" Mother began to choke on her words.

From the sound of her voice, and the painful expression she was showing, I knew this was really hard for you. She must of found it really difficult to leave her family. My heart sank as she was explaining.

"But little did your mother know, is that I was waiting for her, in the exact same spot, you were standing to scan the town." Father spoke, obviously seeing how much mother was struggling.

"Your mother was a feisty one, even though many people were scare, or intimidated of me. She still put up a fight. "Father let out a small laugh, making me and mother laugh too. "You see your mother, is actually a really strong celestial wizard. She has saved this town and all of Fiore countless times." Father sighed.

A smirk crept across my face. "So does  that mean, she is stronger than you?" Father just scoffed.

"Anyways" Mother butted back in after composing herself, shooting back a glare. Dad diverted his gaze somewhere else. I just giggled.

 "After we left Magnolia, a few weeks later. A group of bandits ambushed us. Apparently one of them used a some forbidden magic on me that made me feel woozy. I blacked out and that time I awoke in the hospital where I found out that. Yes, your father, being the complete hero that he is, had taken care of the bandits. Which your father went overboard."

"Well if someone didn't faint, I wouldn't have been in such a rush, to get the hospital. I could of toyed with them more." Father defending his actions, while adding a smart remark in there.

" Which I am completely thankful for." Mother smiled.

"but the most important thing was, I, well we found out that you we still alive." Mother begins to cry. "I was so happy, over the moon to be exact." "Mum." I interrupted. she was started to make me cry. My eyes started to become tear. While Father was sitting there being his usually stone face.

"Luna. I love you so much. I really do love you, you have no idea I much I really do." Mother blabbered.

"I love you too" The tears trailing down my face.

"There is also one more thing." Father says. " I looked at father.

"Dad I already know. For a long time I was angry, but now I understand. I know how much you love me. I know that you are not my father by blood. But you will always be my Dad........And I will always be your little princess." I declared. I unlaced my hand from mothers and wrap one arm around dad and the other around mother.

"Thank you for loving me and accepting me as your own child. No one will ever steal your place. I love you dad" I sobbed. Then I felt father hug me and mother tightly. "I love you both.....Thank..... you.... for..... making..... me....the..... happiest... man......ever." Father said, in between sniffles.

"Father are you crying?" I muttered.

"No." Father lied.  

We all stayed like this momentarily. not wanting to let go.

All of a sudden mother pulled back.

"Wait, who told you?" Mother questioned. I also pulled back. I looked back and forth between mother and father.

"Ahh, well Aunty Erza kinda told me, about how dad was a really badass." "Language" Father said sternly. I nervously giggled. "And she told me about you both being in Fairy Tail and...... Natsu. But I figured out the rest for myself, Aunty Erza just filed in the gaps sort of." I grinned, scratching my head.

Suddenly the atmosphere started to become awkward. So I jumped up from the sofa, full of energy.

"Can I go see the town now?" I say pumped.

Both of them, were still trying to comprehend what I had just told them. So I took a step closer to the front door, while they  were distracted.

"Ahh, wait, there is some place, that we want to take you too first." Father and mother say.

I looked back at them, I wonder where it is. Ohh I bet it's something super awesome.

TIME SKIP (20 Minutes)

LUCY POV

After 12 long years, I never thought I would be back here again. I was still a little scared and a tad anxious. I wasn't sure how I should act, when I step back inside there doors. My heart was racing as we approached. Luna was racing off in front of us. I intertwined my arm with Laxus's, he placed his hand on top of mine.

"Don't worry, everything will be fine. I promise." Laxus says cooing me.

"Yeah." I said, not even sounding convincing at all.

"Is this really Fairy Tail?" Luna says in utter awe.

Now that I look at Luna, that was the exact same expression I had on my face, when I first came to Fairy Tail. This was my home for the longest time. All 3 of us stood outside the front doors. Then Luna suddenly pushing the doors open. My body tensing.

"WELCOME HOME!" Everyone from the guild screamed and cheered.

A/N: I know in the pictures Luna has blue eyes. But lets just pretend they are brown. LOL ^-^
