Chapter 7 - Fairy Tail

LUCY'S POV

"Lucy, I missed you." Wendy sprinted towards all teary eyed and wrapped her little arms around waist.

"I've missed you too Wendy." I smiled.

Wendy then guested me down to her level, I bended down just enough for her to whisper in my ear.

"Me and Carla cleaned your apartment and we saw." I quickly patted her on the head "I'm sorry for making you worry, but everything is okay now. Thank you both." I whispered back.

Wendy shock her head, then let go, wiping her teary eyes.

I looked around everyone continued to make a fuss over my return. I quickly slipped away and heading upstairs to Master Makarov's office. There was something on my chest that I needed to get off, and without thinking, or hesitating I knocked.

"Come in." Master Makarov yells.

I march right in. Master swivels around in his chair. My heart was pounding, as I become super nervous. I begin to fidget around with my skirt.

"What's wrong my child?" Master asks.

I open my mouth to speak, but the words just wont come out. I was so determined, full of courage. But as I stand here in front of Master Makarov, my heart wont stay calm. My heart is pounding violently against my chest and I can feel the tears beginning to well up. I don't want to cry, I shouldn't be crying right now I already decided. I divert my gaze from the master, my body shaking, I was losing my courage, I need to----

"Are you asking me if you can leave Fairy Tail?" Master speaks sternly.

My eyes widen, as that was exactly why I came here, I came here to ask permission to permanently leave Fairy. I slowly lift my gaze back to master, tears trailing down my face. Master Makarov was looking at me with his unwavering glare. I still couldn't bring myself to utter a single word. So I nodded, dropping my gaze again.

Flash Back

2 hours before heading back to Fairy Tail. I was at the apartment with Loke.

"Loke when I left the hospital today. I decided to move forward." I sigh, as  pick up the only  untorn photo of everyone from the guild. "I've been thinking that the only way to grow strong, is to focus on myself, I can't deny that I'm still hurting from losing my baby, but I can't let that hold me back, I don't need time to mourn. Pitying myself is what caused me to--........." I take a deep breath. "So I have decided to leave Fairy Tail for good." I blurt out.

"Lucy. But Fairy Tail is your home." Loke says concerned, placing my suitcase down.

I walk over to Loke. "I know you probably think I'm being to rash. But I don't ever want to feel or be in a situation like that ever again. Loke.. But the one thing that drove to my decision..... was you." Cupping Loke's face in my hands.

"When I held your hand just before the doctors took me into theater. You were trembling and you looked petrified. I can't bare to put you through that again as well. So this is just a small token to show you and everyone else that I can get through this. I just hope you can understand." I smile softly.

"If you are certain Lucy. I will stand by you!" Loke smiled back, placing one hand on top of mine.

I packed up everything in my apartment, with the help of Blue, Loke and Virgo. Once everything was done I sent them all back to the celestial world and made my way to Fairy Tail.

End Flash Back

"Erza told me what had happen." Master Makarov confesses. "But don't be mad with Erza. I dragged it out of her." He says in his hoarse voice.

Still nothing comes out, even when I tried to force myself to.

"I'm sorry about your baby. Lucy." Master sincerely apologized. 

A sharp stabbing pain hit me right in the heart, as he mentioned baby.  I quickly looked directly at Master Makarov, brushing away my own tears.

"C-Can I please leave." I begged literally bursting into tears again. Then I see Master push back from his desk, the screeching sound coming from the wheel of his chair and the move across the floor. Master gets up of his chair and walks over to me, stopping just in arms length of me. 

"Is this what you really want?" Master asks. I take in a deep breath. "Y-Yes." I blurt out, in full force. Suddenly I feel Master Makarov take my hand that has the Fairy Tail mark on it.

"This is the last time I'll ask. Are you sure?......Lucy" Master looking me stern in the eye. I just nod and in a split second the Mark was gone. The Mark that I have carried on my body for years.

I looked down at where the Mark use to be. Then I cupped my hand inside the other and pulled it close to my chest.

"If you ever change your mind Lucy. Fairy Tail will always be your home." Master hugged me.

"Thank you Master." I smiled, pulling out of the hug. I bowed to show my respect, master bowed back. Thank you master, for being like a father to me. "Please don't tell them, not until after a month  or 2." I beg. "As you wish my child." Master nods.

I turned away and walked out the door. But as I shut the door behind me, I see someone in the corner of me eye.

"So you're leaving, huh?" Shocked I snapped my eyes to where that voice was coming from, to my unexpected surprise it was Laxus. The fearsome Laxus, leaning effortlessly against the wall, his head bowed to the ground, arms crossed, eyes closed, looking so intimidating as ever. I brushed away the remaining tears. "How much did you over hear?" I say worried.

"Just enough to know the reason why you're leaving." Laxus replies, in such a husky voice. "Are you going to stop me?" I say, cautious. But he just laughed. "Don't be so full of yourself, Little girl. I'm just glad there will be one less annoying person here."

I snarled at him. "Jerk." I stormed passed him. But just when I was in front of him he put out his arm front of me. Stopping me in my tracks.  "What! Is there something else you want to add?" I turned to glare at him. But as I looked over Laxus's face, he was looking at me, as if he was worried.

"Be careful out there Lucy.... And don't do anything that will make us worry. It will be such a pain in the ass, if we have to one and save you." He says, with a smug look. But before i could react, he dropped his arm and walked off in the opposite direction.

For a minute there I thought he was being nice. "Huh, Like that would happen." I chuckle to myself. I walked down stairs, stopping just high enough to see everyone causing chaos amongst each other. It was as lively as ever. I'll definitely miss this place, but right now I need to try get out of here, without anyone seeing me. 

As I made my way through the crowds of guild members, I tried not to draw attention to myself, it was really difficulty, but I managed to make my way out of the guild undetected. I took one last look at the guild, to say my final good-bye.

I made my way out of the town, heading north. I follow the path, heading into the mountains. "Leaving  without me?" I hear a familiar voice. I swiftly turn to see who it was. To my utter disbelief it was Laxus!

I was in complete shock. "I went to see Master Makarov, and he agreed that I shall be the one to escort you." Laxus said, with a crooked smile. "WHAAT!!" I shouted out.
