Part 67

Jungkook's POV

In a blink of an eye, the day has passed and here I was tickling Christine, seeing her smile made my heart at peace. After the text I received last night, I couldn't even sleep... But after spending the day with her, I felt myself relax..

Nothing's gonna happen.

But I spoke to soon.

Christine's POV

"Yuri?" I asked confused as she timidly approached my hospital bed.

"Hey.. How are you?" She asked, handing me the gifts she had brought. I took them and smiled.

"Better. How about you?" I asked.

She looks at me with apologetic eyes... What is this? Am I the only one? I looked up to Jungkook and saw him unable to look at Yuri as his face was also confusing.

Is there something I'm missing?

"I'll call the hyungs now." He said leaving the room without a second glance at the both of us. I heard Yuri sigh as she sat on the footside of my bed.

"Have you been recovering well?" Yuri asked with a forced smile on her face.

"Yeah. The therapies are hell... But I'm fighting for my brother.. For the guys.. For Jongin, Jaebum, Sungmi.. For Jungkook." I smiled

"Mianhe..." She whispered.

"Bwoh? Waeyo?" I asked confused.

"You're a really kind girl... But I'm not like you.. Jjinja mian?" She said, slowly approaching me, giving my hand a squeeze.

"I'm not as strong as I thought I was..." She cried silently.

"What do you mean?" I asked now worried when the door swung open, revealing the noisy guys entering the room.

"Oh- Yuri?" Jimin asked confused. "What are you doing here?" he suddenly snapped into a somewhat protective mode. He did say before he never liked her... But I guess he just doesn't know her story...

"Leaving... Get well soon, Christine." she whispered before she bowed to everyone as she left the room.

"Are you okay?" Taehyung asked.

"Are you hurt?" Jimin asked.

"What happened?" the other guys crowded around my bed.

"Nothing... I'm totally fine. Who's sleeping here tonight?" I asked and everyone just looked at eachother.

"I'm still tomorrow." Jimin said

"I'm done."

"I'm after, Hey! I go before you! And I'm the one tomorrow!" Namjoon said as Jimin just smiled cheekily.

"No you're not hyung~ Stop lying~"

"Yah!" Namjoon protested, earning a giggle from me.

"Aiish!" Namjoon shook his head as he gave up, giving his dongsaeng his day in exchange of Jimin's.

"Jungkook.." I whispered. They looked around but Jungkook wasn't there. Where could he be?

"Should I look for him?" Jimin suggested.

"Ani. No need. Anyways, are you guys excited for tomorrow?" I started a conversation as I try to push useless worries off my mind. Nothing is going on with Yuri and Jungkook. Everything's alright.. Everything's alright.

"Be sure to text me if anything happens alright?" Jiyoon umma repeated for the nth time as she saw us out.

"Umma relax, what could possibly go wrong?" I smiled at her, trying to ease her up. "I'm fine and I will be alright?"

"Fine but bring her back as soon as it's done alright?"

"We'll bring her back safe and sound doc!" Jimin cheered, wrapping his arm around my shoulder.

"We'll take care of her." The other guys promised.

Jiyoon let us off as we rode the van towards the concert. Everyone was lively, chatty and was keeping me company. But there's one who looks so bothered and worried, like he's in some other place away from us. I worry about him.. I wanna know what's going on in his mind... Should I ask or... Will Jungkook tell me?

Jimin noticed where I was looking and just gave my hand a slight squeeze with a small smile.

"Gweanchanaeo.... [It's alright]" he whispered. "It's gonna be alright." He said lowly. I nodded and just returned a small smile.

My childishness of wanting to be part of the crowd just got really wild. The guys didn't want to leave me alone but things got crazy when one fan recognized them. In the end we were pulled into safety as we got passes backstage. We just watched them from the screen in the waiting room for the second half of the concert.

As soon as the concert was done, oppa got the van ready for us to leave but I asked if I could visit the Jongin and the guys before we leave.

"Be back soon arrasso?" He reminded.

"Mm! Jungkook, do you wanna see Jongin?" I asked excitedly but my face lost its happiness as I saw Jungkook in another world again.

"Jungkook?" I asked again snapping him back to us.

"O.oh?" He asked surprised.

"Nevermind..." I muttered. "I'll go ahead then." I told the other guys.

"Where are you going?" Jungkook asked. I looked back at him with a 'seriously?' Look. He doesn't seem to cope up as he looked confused. I sighed and shook my head.

"I'll go with you." Jimin offered.

"Where are you going?" Jungkook asked again as Jimin took the place beside me.

"Somewhere you're too busy for." Jimin snapped before placing an arm around my shoulder, leading me towards the waiting room of Exo.

"Thank-you..." I softly said when we're far from the others.

"No.. I'm sorry for our maknae.. Maybe he's thinking of something?" He suggested.

"It's fine. I am a big burden after all." I bitterly said.

"Yah! You're not! Don't think like that." He said, placing his hands on my shoulder, making me face him.

"You're not alright? You're not a burden. In fact you're the greatest gift life has given to me." He suddenly said, tugging some strings on my heart.

"J.j.jjinja?" I asked shakily. Since when did I start to cry? Was I really that worried if I was being a burden? Am I really a big pain for Jungkook and the others now?

"Ofcourse pabo." Jimin said, taking me in his arms as he stroked my hair. "You're the greatest gift we have received. Don't you know how happy the others get when we see you smile?" He reminded, cooing me. "You're a blessing. Not a burden. Remember that."

"Thank-you..." I whispered, hugging him back.

"Come on. Smile for me, Christine ah" He said, pulling away just enough to see my face. A smile slowly curved up my lips as he returned it warmly.

"Christine!" I heard a familiar voice call, making both Jimin and I turn to look at whoever called.

"Kai! Chukkhae [Congrats!] Your concert was Daebak!" I cheered, covering up my crying state with my sudden cheerfulness. Kai ran over to us and gave me a big hug.

"I'm glad you came. Are you hurt anywhere?" he asked, concerned about the incident awhile ago.

"Aniya, I'm good."

"I told you just watch in our waiting room."

"But that totally defeats the purpose of going to a concert you know." I smirked as he just shook his head, giving up in our pointless arguments.

"Annyeong Jimin ah~" Kai smiled warmly.

"A.annyeonhasseo sunbaenim" Jimin bowed. He's still shy around him.

"The guys wanted to see you, is that alright?" Kai asked looking at Jimin

"Well-"

"Ofcourse." I cut Jimin off with a pleading gaze. He sighed and mouthed 'be quick' before smiling and nodding at the waiting Jongin.

"She's hereeee~" Kai dragged me to the waiting room of Exo with Jimin behind us.

"Noona!"

"Christine ah~"

"Owah, is she Christine?"

11 guys towered over us, well me and Jimin since Jongin's as tall as them.

"Annyeohasseo" Both Jimin and I bowed at the same time. We both introduced ourselves and the guys welcomed us warmly.

"So she's the girl huh?" Minseok smiled while I fangirled inside. He's my bias in exo that was a secret from Jongin. Shhh "She's pretty. Annyeong!" he smiled.

"A.a.nnyeong." I smiled nervously.

"Noona~" Sehun hugged me from the side.

"You're older!" I reminded with a smile while Tao, Chen and Lay talked with Jimin after greeting and smiling at me.

"How have you been?" Suho asked

"Hey hey, can you tell me what Kai does when he hits on girls?" Luhan asked

"He's a sucker at that. He can't even confess to MinRin eonni." I blurted making the guys burst in laughter.

"You guys owe me!!!" D.O cheered alongside Minseok who was happily jumping around.

"Why did you let us down, dongsaeng?" Luhan frowned, grabbing his wallet alongside the frowning Baekhyun.

"But he's like the bad boy in school right?" Chanyeol asked surprised.

"Yeah, he is. But he shrinks when he's with Minrin eonni." I chuckled as the other members laugh while Kai shrinks in embarrassment with his cheeks flaming red.

"Yah, let go." Kai said to Sehun, trying to avert all the teasing by disregarding them and changing the topic.

"I'm not doing anything." Sehun stuck his tongue out as he refused to let go.

"Sehun, let go of the poor girl." Suho said chuckling.

"Yeah! Let go..." Beakhyun said, throwing off Sehun's arms as he replaced it with his own.

"Aish! These kids-"

"Yah, Christine ssi, are you okay?" Minseok suddenly asked, walking towards me as he lifted my chin to examine my face.

"She looks pale.." D.O said, making Jimin rush to me.

"Let's go, you must be tired already." Jimin said taking my hand as Baekhyun released me to him.

"I.I'm sorry I had to leave early but it was great meeting all of you." I smiled and bowed to them

"Don't overwork yourself." Kai said, giving me a kiss on the forehead before we head to the others who were waiting for us.

Jimin had to support me as I felt the fatigue consume my energy, feeling my head to thump slightly.

"We should have headed back to the hospital as soon as it was finished.." Jimin muttered

"No, I'm really happy I got to meet them.. Minseok oppa was so handsome.." I joked with a weak voice as Jimin scoffed.

"How dare you tell that infront of me." he asked acting hurt.

I chuckled but got startled when Jimin suddenly stopped and went infront of me, as if he was surprised and was trying not to look at something. In a split second his face filled with shock soon got replaced by anger.

"What's wrong?" I asked

"Put this." he suddenly said, taking out his hanky and wrapping it over my eyes.

"What's this about?" I asked, holding onto the hanky on my eyes.

"Trust me on this. I'll just handle things arrasseo? Here. Listen to this too. Take a seat first, I'll come back to get you." he said, placing his earphones on both my ears with rubber earpods, blocking out every single sound other that the music I'm hearing.

Taeyang's wedding dress played although what surprised me was that it was the english translation.

But if you believe that you belong with him

Promise me, you won't let anyone hurt you.

Remember

I will always be here for you

Even if it kills me to see you in that wedding dress.

I bobbed my head to the beat, getting soothed by the song when I felt a hand took mine. I quickly took off one earphone and asked who it was. When I knew it was Jimin, I relaxed and let him take me to the van.

"Can I take it off?" I asked while we walked. He didn't answer but he just took it off himself a minute after as I got blinded by the sudden light of the surroundings.

"What happened?" I asked Jimin who just looked away with his fist closed. I noticed his knuckles were red. Did something happen?

"Jiminie. Talk to me." I said tugging on his hand. He just looked at me with anger gone in his eyes and was replaced by warmth and comfort.

"Nothing. I should be the one worried, you're the one not looking good here. Come on.." he said kneeling with his back towards me. "It'll be faster this way. Besides, you're tired out.." he said as he smiled and without a second thought, I just wrapped my arms around his neck as he stood up, giving me a piggy back ride.

Jimin's POV

"How dare you tell that infront of me?" I asked acting hurt as she said another guy being handsome infront of my face. She chuckled, not knowing the meaning behind that little statement of mine when I saw something that made my small eyes grew wide. My reflexes acted as I hide the view from Christine, worried gone now anger filled me. I made her sit on the bench just beside us as I wrapped my hanky over her eyes, giving her the earphones so she doesn't hear anything.

Once she's seated, I strode towards the two.

Just as Jungkook pushed Yuri away, I couldn't stop my fist from flying towards him, landing on the wall beside him centimeters away from his face. It could have hit him if I wanted to but I didn't

"H.hyung-" Jungkook stuttered.

"The hell is this Jungkook." I glared at him.

"He didn't do anythi-"

"Shut up. I'm not talking to you." I snapped back at Yuri who was trying to explain.

"Hyung I. I didn't want this." he said pleadingly in tears.

"You let her kiss you, Jungkook. You did. Cause if you didn't want it, you could have dodged it while she was leaning or could have pulled away in a split second but no. I saw you and had to hide this crap to Christine. I did stupid things like blindfolded her and made her wear my headset and when I got to you was the only time you pushed her away." I said my voice shaking in anger.

"I was just shocke-"

"Caught up in the moment? Man up Jungkook. You have a girlfriend and it's not this... thing." I spat, glaring at Yuri before continuing what I had to say. "Is this why you were out of it since Yuri came last night? Were you ignoring Christine because of Yuri?"

"No! Hell No-"

"And you Yuri. Are you really that desparate? Can't you just stop ruining other people's relationship? Stop going after guys who have girlfriends for goodness sake!" I exclaimed while she just shook of fear and embarrassment.

"Hyung I can explain-"

"You better. If you don't fix this mess up, I'm telling you Jungkook. I'll take her away from you. She deserves more than this." I said which took Jungkook and Yuri off guard, surprised with my statement.

I glared at Yuri one last time, leaving the two tongue tied and shocked before going back to Christine. I made sure they were out of sight before I took her blindfold off and gave her a piggy back ride.

Christine, I'll take care of you.

I'll treat you right.

I'll protect you and your smiles.

I'll hold you when you cry.

I can all do those... even without anything in return.

I'll always be here for you.
