Damon and Stefan threw out the bodies. Kai and I went over to the twins, bringing them up to their room.

"Adira, could you try what you did out there, on me?" I asked, she nodded and placed her hand on mine.

She focused and there it was again. The orange glow, siphoning my magic. The connection was weak but you could definitely tell that she is a siphon.

The only question now is if Airis is the same. I told her the exact same steps but all that happened was she squeezed my hand.

She isn't a siphon but Adira is. I told them that they could draw or paint in their room, that should keep them occupied for a while until we think or figure something out.

I went back into my room and sat on my bed, trying to comprehend everything that just happened. "Hey it's going to be okay" Kai said, trying to comfort me."No it's not""Andie-"

"Kai, when the twins merge, Adira has ber own magic and can still siphon more. All Airis has, is her own.""It doesn't matter, there can only be one leader."

I looke at him in disbelief, "Are you- Are you hearing yourself right now? One of our kids will die if we don't find a solution""Yeah and they'll both die anyways if they dont merge at all. So which is it?"

"Are your seriously asking me which loss of our kids do I prefer? You are unbelievable" I said, turning around and walking out of the room we were in.

"Andrea wait-" I slammed the door shut.

The more I thought about it the more stressful it became. I walked downstairs to just try and get some air.

"Andrea, I need to talk to you" Elena said, stopping me."What about, Elena. I got a lot on my plate right now can't it wait?-""I knew""Knew what?"

"About Adira" I stared at her, waiting for a valid explanation."You knew and didn't think to tell me or Kai?""I know but it was right after you were gone and I just missed you so much and Kai was so stressed already-"

"No, missing me is not a valid excuse on why you didn't think to tell Kai or- or me about my daughter's magical abilities! I'm back and you still didn't tell me""Im sorry-"

"No just- Stay away from me for a bit."

I heard Kai come out and he tried talking to me, Elena stopped him and told him to leave me alone. All I need is just some time.

Hours went by. I was still mad at Kai but I knew that someone could help me find a solution; Freya could.

I went back in to my room, grabbing my stuff to do a spell and layed it out on my desk. I started slowly chanting a spell that helps trace the beginning of my magic part and the siphon part. I held my hands out and hoped that it would work.

Halfway through, someone came in, Kai. "Hey" he said and stood on the other side of the desk, facing me. I kept chanting, just trying to get the spell done.

"Look, I'm sorry. I didn't mean how I said it, the words came out wrong and it... I'm sorry, alright?"

I kept chanting, ignoring him at this point."Babe""Andie""Andrea, listen to me!" He yelled, grabbing my wrist tightly and pulling me fowards, interrupting my spell.

I looked at him in shock and pulled my arm away. "I'm sorry- Oh my god- I didn't mean to-""But you did it anyway... As much as all of us believe that you have changed, the old you is still inside of you. The entitled siphon coven leader; the one who always wins"

I turned around and started walking away, the spell gave me some clues. "Yeah? Well the old you is still in you too. The drug addict" I stopped in my tracks and slowly turned around.

"The girl who became addicted, the one who overdoses, the one let the drugs control her life. The girl who was fiending for hit like she was on fire, all the time. Her hands would shake as she looked for pills" He said, I walked towards him.

"The girl who was so addicted, it-" I swung my hand across his face, my eyes swelled with tears.

"Im sorry, but that was a dick move" I grabbed my stuf and started walking out."Where are you going?"

"New Orleans"

I explained to Elena about what was going to happen. I was only taking Adira to New Orleans.

"Is Kai coming with you?""No, he's not"

I started the car and put Adira in her car seat and started driving.

By the time we made it to New Orleans, it was already very dark out. The both of us walked down the empty streets toward the compound, only for me to hear footsteps behind us

I turned around and met eyes with some guy. "Hey! Sorry, didn't mean to scare you but, could you tell me the directions to Jackson Square?" He asked, looking at me and Adira.

"Uhm, its about a fifteen minute walk from here but if you go left, there should a four-way cross; Just skip it and keept going straight until there's another one, then take a right" I explained.

"Thanks... she yours?" He asked and gestured towards Adira."Yeah""What's your name?" He asked her.

"You know what, we are just going to get going. Have a good night" I dismissed, he wasn't done yet though."She's a beautiful one" he carressed her head,

"Don't touch her" I said sternly, pushing his arm away."Hey, it's a compliment-"

"Look, she is not your kid. Back the hell off"

He scoffed and started walking away. I grabbed Adira's hand and started walking to the compound again. Once we got in, Freya was already waiting for us.
