Chapter Six

Sam sat in the chair waiting for her name to be called.Jax was sitting right next to her with his hand on her thigh rubbing it lightly

"Babe stop...your killing me" Sam said Jax smiled. They hadn't made love since before she was taken. Her body was still healing and as much as Sam insisted Jax would always say no. But on top of finding out the sex of the baby her doctor was going to clear her for all activity today so of course Jax had to tease her

"Samantha Teller" the nurse said Jax helped Sam up since she's been having a hard time getting around lately. The baby was sitting on her sciatic nerve. They walked into the exam room to check her out first

"Please undress from the bottom down so Dr. Mortman can check you" she said and exited the room. Sam smiled now she could tease Jax

"Babe can you help me" Sam said referring to the buttons on her jeans Jax stood up and slowly unbuttoned two buttons and unzipped her pants. Letting out a slight groan he sat down

"now your the one killing me" Jax said

"soon babe" Sam said

"yeah you tell that to him down there" Jax laughed. Sam finished getting undressed and sat on the table waiting for the doctor

"Ok Sam your cleared for all activity but you still need to take it easy" Dr mortman said

Sam nodded and looked at Jax who had the biggest smile on his face "now let's check out the little bean" he said wheeling over the ultrasound machine. After making sure all of the organs were good and healthy he turned to Sam and Jax "are you ready?" He asked they both nodded Jax took Sam's hand as the doctor started examining the bottom of the baby

"Do you see those two dots" he said pointing to the screen

"he's got balls" Jax said

"he sure does. Your having a boy congratulations" Dr mortman said. Jax kissed Sam

"I get my son" he said with his forehead against hers

Jackson had become slightly over protective over the next few months not allowing Sam to lift anything or do anything strenuous even though the Dr did not order her to take it easy "why are you re arranging the living room for the second time this week" Jax asked

"I'm not I'm cleaning. Its called nesting which means this kid is coming any day now" Sam

said her due date was a week away she officially hit 39 weeks. "Harley wants to go see Santa tonight" Sam said knowing the clubhouse was throwing their Christmas party tonight

"bobby will be in tip top shape for my precious girl" Jax said smiling as Sam was down on the floor scrubbing the carpet

"You look sexy on your knees babe" Jax said Sams eyes darted to his

"don't think about it Teller my crotch hurts his head is right there" Sam said Jax chuckled he hadn't had sex in well over a month due to the pressure his son was causing his mother

"ohh" sam said holding her belly jax got up instantly and helped sam on the couch

"have you been contracting all day?" Jax asked resting a hand on her belly

"yes and no. not all day just here and there" Sam said

"im gonna ask my mom to take harley tonight just in case. well take her to see santa and we will come home i dont want you walking around to much" jax said knowing she would argue about not going. Sam nodded her head. a few hours later they were at clubhouse party. Sam wasnt feeling well she just didnt feel right she was uncomfortable and crabby. not very many people came over to talk to her per Jax's request. he came over to bring her some water "babe im ready to go home im tired" she said

"ok let me tell gemma and we will go" jax said walking away

They walked in the door of the house and something didn't feel right. "Stay here" Jax said as he drew his gun walking through the living room and down the hall. Sam stood nervously waiting for Jax to say it was ok. She needed to pee "well well what do we have here" she heard coming from the kitchen. Sam flicked the lights on to see Josh Kohn sitting at her kitchen table "Sam go into the living room" Jax said standing in front of her Sam wasn't in the mood to argue she knew Jax could handle himself.

"Leave my house if you value your life" Jax said holding the gun towards Josh. Josh inched closer to Jax pointing his gun towards Sam

"Move if you value her life" Josh smirked knowing Jax would do anything to protect Sam. Jax stepped away still holding his gun "get up Sam" josh said

"she can stay where she is" Jax said. Josh grabbed Sam by the back of the hair and pulled her up to face him.

"Oh looks like we have another life at stake here"Josh said pointing the gun to Sam's stomach. Jax instantly dropped his gun. Sam looked at him like he was crazy. Suddenly she got a severe pain in her side making her bend over. She was in labor "I Need to get to st. Thomas" she said still bent over

"not a chance" Josh said

"just let her go man you can take me she needs to see the doctor" Jax said still holding his gun at his side

"ahhhhhhh!!!!!" Sam screamed clenching her stomach

"nope still not happening" Josh said forcing Sam to stand back up. Sam had enough of this asshole she kicked him in the knee "you bitch" he said and he shot the gun

Sam dropped to the ground hearing two sets of shots. She looked up and saw Josh on the ground with a bullet in his forehead. She crawled over to the edge of the couch "oh my god" she whispered Jax was laying on the ground she crawled over to him but there was no blood

"babe?" She heard "babe are you ok?" She asked trying to crawl but there was to much pain

"I'm fine I had my bulletproof vest on he knocked the wind out of me" Jax said trying to sit up

"I need to get to the hospital Jax my water broke " Sam said. With everything he had he sat up and helped her out to the car.

"Push Sam" the Dr said as Jax held one leg up while she held the other. Sam felt like she had been pushing for hours but it had only been 10 minutes

"good job Sam. His head is almost out I can see it" the Dr said

"your doing good babe just push" Jax said kissing her leg Sam pushed with all of her strength and with that one push baby boy Teller was out. The nurse put him on Sam's chest "hey buddy I'm your dad" Jax said stroking his tiny hand

"you did great Sam" Jax said looking at her but she was laying there with her eyes closed "Sam" he said no response

"she's losing a lot of blood we need to get her into surgery" the Dr said. The nurse took baby teller and with the flash of a light SAM was wheeled out of the room and off to surgery. Jax stood at the window of the nursery looking at his son

"Mr Teller?" A voice said Jax turned around to see the doctor covered in blood

"Sam lost a significant amount of blood but she's doing ok. We had to remove her entire reproductive organs. I'm sorry Mr. Teller but Sam will not be able to have anymore children" the Dr said. Jax just stood there crying

"she's in recovery she's gonna need some rest for a few hours before anyone sees her" he said again Jax just nodded he felt numb he slid down the wall and held his head in his hands.

'Sam we've been dating a while now and I want you to officially be mine' Jax said staring into Sam's eyes

'Jax what do you mean official like a promise ring?" Sam asked

"No like I want you to get my crow, be my old lady " Jax said

"tell me why you love me Jackson" Sam said

"your the most beautiful girl I've ever seen Sam, you make me feel this way I can't describe, you understand me and can tell when I'm lying, and you love me for me for who I am and what I want to become. And for that I want you to be only mine for the rest of my life."Jax said holding Sam's hands

"I love you Jackson I really do but I want kids like 5 of them and how do I know were safe?" Sam asked

"babe we will have as many kids as you want. And I'll always protect you. Because I'll always follow you" Jax said kissing Sam

Jax woke up in the same position he was in. Hurting that he was going to be the one to tell his wife that she can't have anymore kids. It was going to break her. It was going to break him. Cause she will leave

"I'm sorry... I'm sorry.... I'm sorry" Sam kept repeating Jax but the baby back in his bassinet and went over to Sam

"Babe I'm here its ok"he said stroking her hair. Sam's eyes fluttered open

"the baby?" She asked

"he's right over there,perfectly healthy" Jax said

"why do I hurt so bad what happened" Sam asked

"you ended up bleeding out you needed surgery to repair it" Jax said

"can I have him please" Sam asked reaching her arms out. Jax carefully handed the baby to Sam

"did you name him?" Sam asked looking over her son

 "Nope waiting for you" Jax said smiling

"thank god you didn't name him after yourself I can't handle two Jacksons" Sam chuckled she studied every inch of the boy

"if he's anything like me your in for it" Jax laughed

"its the Teller charm. Harley has it too. So little dude what shall we call you" Sam asked as if the baby would answer her

"how about Abel?"Jax said

"Abel it is. Abel John Teller" Sam smiled

Jax put his hand on Sam's shoulder "babe there was some complications with your surgery....they had to remove your whole baby making system" Jax said looking into his wife's eyes

"What do you mean? Like I can't have more kids" Sam asked

"pretty much sums it up babe" Jax said Sam's eyes fell to Abel. She began to cry she rubbed Abel's face with her thumb. Jax put his hand on Sam's shoulder. "I'm sorry Jax." Sam said

"babe its ok I promise I have you, Harley and Abel my life is perfect" Jax said looking into her eyes. Sam didn't want to believe that she is never going to be able to have anymore kids. Would Jax still accept her? Would he give up knowing she couldn't have more kids with him? She touched the scar on her neck

"What if I never left?" Sam asked

"babe. Its fine were fine we can get past this. Let me call Gemma and have her bring Harley ok?" He said kissing her lightly she nodded as she looked down at her son. Hating herself that she left Jackson behind because things would be completely different.
