Chapter Four

'I'll follow you down, through the eye of the storm, don't worry I'll keep you warm'

"Gemma I'm pregnant" Sam said. Those words all to familiar

"don't worry baby I'm not handing over money this time" Gemma smiled

"I've got to be at least 2 months along. What do i tell Jax?" Sam panicked

"that your pregnant you idiot " Gemma laughed

Sam sighed her and Jax had dinner plans tonight in Lodi. It was their 10 year anniversary being married and gemma agreed to take Harley over night who was so excited to sleep at grandma gemmas. She was nervous to tell Jax. Things had been going good at the club and she didnt want him to get distracted again. Gemma could see her pankicing on the inside

"Let me tell you something right now. You leave again and ill come and find you and drag your skinny ass back here" gemma said sternly Sam just looked at her.

Jax and Sam arrived at the resturant in lodi he pulled out a box and handed it to her "happy anniversary babe" he said

"you didnt have to get me anything" she smiled she opened the small box to reveal a set of car keys

"whats these for?" She asked picking them out of the box

 "I bought you a car babe a brand new dodge charger" Jax said

Sam smiled "thanks babe" as she also handed jax something he opened the small box to reveal a pacifier his eyes shot up to Sam's

"your pregnant?" He asked Sam nodded his face was blank she was trying to search for an expression but she didn't find one

"Were having a baby?" He asked again

"yes. Yes we are" SAM said still unsure of his expression

"finally!!!!" He said with the biggest smile, Sam smiled back secretly screaming inside that he was happy

 "yes finally. My appointment is tomorrow morning at 8:30 after I drop Harley off with Neeta" Sam said. Jaxs face fell

"I have to leave for a run at 6 babe" Jax said feeling ashamed

"its ok babe I'll call you as soon as I get some details I promise" Sam said as Jax took her hand. This is exactly how she left the last time she left while he was on a run.

The next morning Sam woke up and saw Jax off on his run assuring him she was going to call him she dropped Harley off at neetas and drove. She looked at the clock in the car and it read 8:15am in fifteen  she will be told how far along she is. She sat in a parking lot. Should she stay? Should she go? Her phone buzzed from a  text. 'I know this is hard for you I love you please don't leave again I need to protect you' of said she held her head up high and walked into the office

An hour later Jackson still hadn't heard from his wife and it was making him nervous suddenly his phone rang "babe?" He said answering

"I'm due Christmas day in 2 months we come back for an anatomy scan, and the heartbeat is strong running at 135" Sam said into the phone

Jax smiled into the phone"I wish I was there babe" he said "me too" she said quietly, Jax knew something was wrong

"what's wrong babe" he asked

"just got a lot on my mind Jax" Sam said

 "ok babe I'll be home in a few days kiss Harley for me love you" he said hanging up the phone

Sam put her phone in her bag and started the car and put it in drive

"if you don't do what I say your brains will be all over the window" the voice said as a cold revolver pressed against the back of her head

"They will find me and kill you" she said

"shut up and drive I'll tell you when to stop" he said

'Where the fuck is the prospect that's supposed to be following me' Sam thought scanning the parking lot

She drove for what seemed like hours she was getting hungry and tired "I need to use the bathroom and stretch my legs please" she asked

"to bad were almost there" he said

"please I'll do whatever you want just please let me get out and stretch my legs if not I'm gonna end up totalling the car and killing us both then I'm useless" she pleaded

"ok next rest stop" he said a few min later she pulled off the interstate to a rest stop she thought about running but if she did that he would kill her they walked to the bathrooms together

"if your not out in 3 minutes I'm going to slit your throat" he whispered in Sam's ear she nodded her head as she opened the bathroom door she saw someone washing her hands

"please help me I've been kidnapped please call my husband when you leave here" she cried the lady nodded handing her the phone so Sam can punch Jax's  number into the phone

"he's outside the door" Sam said the Lady nodded and walked out the door

"Give me your phone lady" he said as the woman walked out of the bathroom the woman reluctantly handed over his phone and he proceeded to delete the number that Sam just punched into her phone

"leave you call the cops and I'll hunt you down" he said she nodded quickly and ran to her car and left.

Jax was sipping on a beer in Nevada when his phone rang the caller I'd said neeta he picked it up

"neeta what's wrong?" He said

"I'm sorry to bother you Mr Jax but have you heard from Sam? She was supposed to be here hours ago?" Neeta asked

"no maybe she went home to nap have you tried her cell?" He asked sitting up straight

"yes right to voicemail, Harley keeps asking for the both of you and I have to go see my mom in the hospital can I drop her off with gemma?" Neeta asked

"yes please drop her with gemma thank you neeta" Jax said hanging up the phone Jax dialed sams number and it went right to voicemail He dialed Phil's phone

"yup" he answered

"Phil where's my wife?" Jax asked

"ummm she left while I was in the shitter at the docs office I've been driving all around looking for her" Phil said

"you left her?! Are you that much of a fucking idiot? You want to be patched in? And you leave the most important thing in my life unprotected? Your fucking done" Jax screamed into the phone he hung it up and everyone was starting at him

"Clay I gotta go. Phil lost my wife " Jax said

Jax's phone rang it was a number he didn't recognize

"hello" he said

"Mr. I just say your wife she asked me to call you she's been kidnapped they are at the rest stop off interstate 95" she said and hung up

"Who was that Jax?" Clay asked

"some lady she said she saw Sam at a rest stop and Sam asked her to call me she's been kidnapped" Jax said all the members of the charter got on their bikes and rode back to charming while Jax,Opie and Happy rode to interstate 95 in search of Sam

They reached the lot and saw Sam's charger sitting in the parking lot empty. A couple was speaking with local police on the phone "we came out and a guy held a gun to our head and demanded the keys gave us a set for someone else's car. The woman looked scared like she was afraid of him" he said into the phone.

Jax waiting for them to get off the phone"which way did he go?" He asked the man looked at him

"that guy has my pregnant wife which way did he go" Jax asked again

"he went east mentioned he was taking her home she was lost that's what he told us" he spoke

"Thank you" Jax said walking away

"Opie where was Sam when she left?" Jax asked

"Minneapolis, Minnesota she was there for a year then to lufkin Texas then out to Connecticut" Opie said

"they headed east said he was taking her home" Jax said

"ride ahead I'll catch up I'm gonna have juice log into my email and get her location from the email she sent me when she lived there" Opie said Jax and happy started their bikes and started to ride.

Sam sat in the backseat with her hands behind her back and her mouth taped shut. She couldn't speak. She was starving she needed to eat. She knew if she did anything to jeopardize herself he would hurt her and her unborn baby. He pulled off to a rest stop knowing it was dark and no one would be there. He yanked her out of the back seat and leaned her over the trunk of the car. He ripped down her pants and pushed himself inside her forcefully sam let out a cry. She needed her husband more then anything at this very moment. He finished inside her. she kicked her shoe off as he pushed her back in the backseat of the car. Leaving a trail for Jax to find her

Jax stopped at every rest stop to see if they had stopped. It was pushing 5 am and he was getting tired. He stopped again to use the bathroom and saw a shoe on the ground. It was Sam's. She wanted to let Jax know she was still alive. He started his bike and continued his search

He pulled into a small run down hotel he needed to sleep. She was pissing him off crying in the back seat. He went in and got a room he pushed her in the door onto the floor. He dragged her to one of the musty beds and tied her to the bed posts

"if I take the tape off will you be quiet?" He asked Sam nodded she needed to eat something. He pulled the tape off and smiled

"Can I eat something please?" She asked quietly he dug in his pocket and took out a candy bar

"I'm not leaving you alone so this is all I have" he said

"its something I need to eat" she said he fed her the candy bar. He was enjoying every second of it. She ate it so fast, she was so hungry.

"Why did you take me josh? What do you want from me? Money? Cause I have it." Sam said

"no I want you, I love you Samantha" josh said "Josh I love Jackson I always have you knew I still had feelings for my ex when we met" Sam said

He hit her across the face "don't ever say his name again" josh yelled

"you will never be half the man that he is" Sam gritted between her teeth Another slap across the face  He pulled her pants down and began to touch her

"Please stop" she cried "shut up or the tape goes back on. I want to make love to you" he said entering her. Sam cried quietly hearing the roar of three bikes she closed her eyes praying they would stop and shut off their bikes long enough for her to scream. Josh didn't seem to notice the sound of the bikes he continued to push himself deeper inside her. Just then she heard the bike shut off. She hoped it was Jax. She heard his voice. Its Opie! She took a deep breath and then another one and screamed as hard and loud as she could "JACKSON!!!!".

Then suddenly everything went dark. As josh punched her so hard it knocked her out.

"Jax did you hear that?" Opie asked

"that was Sam. She's here" Jax said as he  looked around  suddenly a light turned off he could see the curtain being pushed back. He moved his hand toward that door. Then it opened and someone ran happy and Opie ran after him as Jax ran towards the door he turned the light on and saw something he would never forget. His wife tied to a bed lifeless blood coming from her nose her neck.
