12:48pm

The next morning, the seven boys had gathered together in the living room to discuss about the situation that happened the night before, including you in their conversation as well. Although you still couldn't get the image out of your head with what happened with Taehyung in the closet, you did your best to keep your focus on the conversation that was taking place. "We knocked two of them down yesterday," Hoseok said as he gestured to Jimin and himself. "But Yoongi claimed that he saw someone else run off." Yoongi nodded and his eyebrows scrunched together, trying to figure out his own thoughts in his head. "I tried running after them but they got away," he said while clicking his tongue. "All I remember is the person wearing a black hoodie and long hair."      "Wait," Jungkook spoke up. "Are you sure it was long hair?" Yoongi nodded which made the rest of the six boys left in confusion. "Maybe it was a guy with really long hair?" Jimin suggested but everyone could tell that he wasn't really proud of his answer. Namjoon sighed. "Just make sure to keep your eyes out for anyone. If they ended up finding this place in the woods, then we should probably head out toward another location soon," he said while the six boys nodded their head in agreement. You sighed when he said so; it made you worried that people might've known your whereabouts and your existence. You were getting used to being "dead" but now you were terrified of being "alive." You heard Seokjin ask you, "What do you think, y/n?" You looked up from your hands to see all eyes staring right at you, the piercing gazes making you anxious and nervous but you kept your composure. "Well," you said. "I think—"    Suddenly, there was knocking heard at the front door. Everyone turned to look toward the front door and eyed it suspiciously, Jimin and Jungkook quickly grabbing you to hide in case it was an intruder while Namjoon and Taehyung slowly moved toward the door and made sure they had their guns ready and loaded. The knocking's pace fastened and a soft voice was heard, "Please help me." Namjoon and Taehyung glanced to one another before slowly opening the door and quickly pulling out their guns to shoot, but they froze when they saw a girl with cuts and bruises all over her body. "Please..." the girl mumbled. "P-Please help me." Namjoon's eyebrows scrunched up in suspicion while Taehyung's eyes softened in pity; however, Yoongi yelled. "It's you!" He said, pointing to the girl who's black hoodie he had recognized along with the long hair. "You're the person I saw running away!" He stated which caused Namjoon and Taehyung to stare at the girl in anger and fury, raising their guns to end it all. "Wait!" The girl crossed her arms over his face in surrender. "I-I promise I'm innocent! I was just a passerby when I saw two men breaking in, and I got scared when I heard gun shots!" She rambled while shivering in pure fright under the intimidating stares she received from the boys. "Please, I promise I'm not a bad person." Namjoon and Taehyung gave each other a quick glance before dragging the girl in and slamming the door shut, quickly putting a gun to her head which made her flinch. Yoongi crouched down to her level as she sat on the ground, tears streaming down her cheeks along with the blood from the cuts and scrapes on her face. "Yep, this is definitely the person I saw yesterday." Yoongi stood back up and looked over to Namjoon who seemed to be suddenly lost in his clouds of thoughts. "What's the plan?" Yoongi asked but Namjoon couldn't give an immediate reply. "Treat her wounds," Namjoon said as he continued to hold his gun pressed against the girl's head. "What?" Yoongi asked in disbelief. "Treat her wounds," Namjoon repeated. "Then we'll let her go."

1:03pm

Seokjin and Hoseok were working on the girl's wounds as you were still sitting on Taehyung's bed in his room. You weren't sure how long you were to be kept hidden but the boys were extremely protective. You looked over to the door when you heard someone twist the door knob, watching Taehyung along with Namjoon and Yoongi enter the room. Once the door was shut completely, Yoongi shouted. "Are you crazy Namjoon?!" You we're confused if they realized you were still in the room but you saw that they were completely aware of the fact that you were present at how Taehyung sat down next to you. "Why would we let her go? We should kill her!" Yoongi said while Namjoon shook his head, his expression firm and unchanging. "You don't understand," he sighed. "Then please make me understand because this shit doesn't add up," Yoongi scoffed. "You're supposed to be our fearless leader, Namjoon."      "This isn't about fear." Namjoon spoke while crossing his arms together. "This is about keeping y/n safe. Once the girl's wounds heal, she'll leave and then we'll leave too." Yoongi scoffed while crossing his arms over one another, tilting his head to the side with a frown on his face. "Namjoon's right," Taehyung spoke up. "Once she leaves, then we can flee to wherever so that she can't find us again. We know lots of places to go, so I think that it's a good idea for now. Unless..." Taehyung gestured his hand to Yoongi who's frown only deepened. "You have a better idea?" Yoongi sighed and looked away, giving his silence as his answer before leaving the room and slamming the door shut. Namjoon followed after him and closed the door, leaving you and Taehyung in the room alone. It was silent for a moment before you spoke, "I'm sorry." Taehyung looked over to you and smiled slightly. "Why are you sorry for?" He asked while you brought your knees up to hug toward your chest. "I don't know, I just feel like a burden..." you confessed and it was true; you did feel burdensome toward the seven boys. They did all they could to protect you and yet you didn't know how they weren't fed up with it yet. You felt bad and at times you felt that their lives would've been so much better without you in it. You felt Taehyung's hand lift up your chin so that your eyes could meet his, his thumb caressing over your lower lip. "Don't say that. We're doing this because we want to," he said softly as his hand softly crept up to caress your cheek. The way he stared at you made you feel fluttery and light, your mind focused on nothing but him. "We care about you y/n. Nothing bad will happen to you." He smiled and leaned in to press his lips to your forehead. "I won't let anyone take you away from me..." he whispered but you heard his words clearly; maybe he knew what his words would do to you but you certainly weren't complaining. Your heart always leaned to him.

But you didn't realize how bad things could end up in the sweet bliss of the night.

That night, Taehyung had fell right to sleep next to you while you were awake reading a book you found on his shelf. You were so immersed into it that you didn't realize that time had passed by so quickly. You only tore your eyes away from the word filled book at the sound of your phone buzzing next to you. You closed the book and set it down beside you as you replaced it with your phone that was lit up with a message. Your stomach dropped.

Unknown:Do you want to know who killed your parents?

You:Who is this?

Unknown:Do you want to know who killed your parents?

You:Okay weirdo, you're getting blocked.

Unknown:You don't want to do that, y/n.

You: Whoever you are, just leave me alone.

Unknown:Why? The fun has just begun.

You:Do you even know who you're talking to right now? I could be a murderer.

Unknown:You're to naive to be a murderer, y/n.

Unknown:It's unfortunate that I'm in that position instead, though.
