Part 5 Sleep

 Ranpo tries to think of a possible plan to persuade Poe to sleep, talking to him might not work as he would still end up not sleeping afterwards. He knew of one way but he was a little scared to do it.

Ranpo looked for Poe in all of his classes, he then found him passed out on the desk to one of them. He has fallen asleep, which was good if it weren't for the fact that the next class is going to start in 5 minutes.

"Hey Poe" Ranpoe whispered as he gently patted Poe on the back "You gotta wake up ok?" Poe groaned and pushed Ranpo's hand away. "S-Not yet... dreamss... good..." mumbled Poe.

Ranpo tapped him once more but to no avail. Poe was to busy dreaming, what was he dreaming you ask? In Poe's dream he and Ranpo were hanging out, playing UNO, Ranpo kept winning since he would count the cards and be able to tell which ones Poe had, they both reach for the deck of cards, since they wanted to shuffle it. Their hands graze each other, they look up at each other. Poe grabs Ranpo hand and pulls him closer. Ranpo looks at him with those beautiful emerald eyes....

Their lips are centimeters away from each other (inches if your American makes no difference) but just as they are about to kiss-

"Poe Karl has been kidnapped!!" yells Ranpo "What?! Karl? Who?!" exclaims Poe jolting from his sleep. "Sorry Karl's fine, I just needed you to wake up" apologized Ranpo. "It's ok" said Poe. "Ok c'mon we need to go" said Ranpo grabbing Poe's hand and pulling him outside. They walked over to Poe's dorm and they walked in. "Ranpo w-what are you.." asked Poe. "You need to sleep!" exclaimed Ranpo while looking at Poe. His voice was serious and Poe felt bad.

"Now I'm gonna snuggle with you because then I can make sure that you sleep" demanded Ranpo sitting down on the bed. "are y-you sure? This isn't s-something friends do..." trailed of Poe but Ranpo pulled him down onto the bed and snuggled next to him.

Poe felt his cheeks flush as Ranpo hugged him tightly. He slowly felt the tiredness sweep over him and he drifted of to sleep. He had another dream, he now couldn't deny the fact that he liked Ranpo. They were under a tree, they were having a picnic, Poe was laying down on the red and white fabric they had put down, Ranpo was above him, then he got on top of Poe and kissed him lightly.

Poe murmured something in his sleep, Ranpo could slightly hear it, something that sounded like his name... Then he remembered, he had class! He had to go since he really shouldn't miss classes, it's not like he needed them but his scholarship could take a hit... He didn't want to leave Poe, he was so warm and comfortable... non the less he got up and left. He felt bad for doing so and he decided to apologize to Poe afterwards.

As Poe opened his eyes he looked around trying to see his surroundings... he remembered Ranpo snuggling with him but... he wasn't here and there was no reason Ranpo would cuddle with him... Poe got up and left, he still had one last class for the day...

Ranpo's teacher gave them lengthy homework, sure it was easy but writing it would be a drag... Ranpo needed it done by tomorrow so he went to do it right after class. He almost forgot to visit Poe but when he did he rushed to his dorm knocking loudly. "Hey Ed? You there??" questioned Ranpo as he knocked. No answer. He decided that if Poe wasn't there it made no difference to check, and if he was he wouldn't mind Ranpo coming in.

Ranpo swung open the door.

His eyes widened "Poe... Why would you do this?"
