The Prisoner
17:29, 21 September 2013Night was approaching so we made our way inside.
"Welcome to your new home, cell block B." Luther voiced said echoing around the place.
"Cosy." I replied.
Crystal was cooking some unappealing porridge and I said," Sorry we didn't bring better news."
"It's okay I'm use to the disappointment." She replied.
"Why are we waiting? Excuse me I'm hungry." The sleazy guy butted in front of us.
"Creep." I muttered.
"Don't mind him, he always has a stick up his ass." Luther yelled.
I giggled a bit. Crystal served us some food and we sat down at a table.
"That plane of yours can it still fly?"
"It can but it can only seat two or three if you don't mind being squished." Alice replied.
"Could you take us one at a time?" Crystal said with hope in her voice.
"She was lucky to land the first time." Luther said.
"It's suicide five or six more times. No offense." He said.
"None taken." Alice grinned.
"There has to be another way out." I said.
"Well there is." Crystal said but she was interrupted by Luther.
"It'll be a waste of time."
"We have time to waste." I replied.
Luther led us down a couple of stairs," When shit hit the fan we took refuge in the prison, we figured that it's walls were strong enough to keep those things out. When we got her all the inmates and guards were gone. We thought the place was empty until we found him." Luther said pointing to a guy sitting in a glass cage.
"Wendell it's time for your break."
"About time, I keep on hearing things in the walls."
"Let's go check it out, I'll be back in a minute." Luther said, Wendell following after him.
I walked up to the cell and the guy inside stood up, he stuck his hand through the small opening and said," My name is Chris."
I stared at his hand making no move to shake it, making him withdraw his hand.
"You were the ones flying that plane." He said glancing at Alice and I.
"I'm glad you made it, maybe you can talk some sense into these people."
"What do you mean?" I said.
"Isn't it obvious? I'm not a prisoner, I shouldn't be in here." He said with a glint in his eyes.
"I was working with a military unit and we used this place as a staging post. When the order came out to release the prisoners, things where already going bad when it was issued. We needed people out there to fight those things. It was chaos, we were pooling out when a gang of prisoners jumped me thinking I was a guard and well here I am." He said spreading out his arms.
"You have to get me out of here."
"We are trapped here one way or another." Alice responded.
"I can help you." He pleaded.
"Seen enough?" Luther said coming back.
"You find anything?" I asked.
"Nope."
"I know a way out of this place, if you get me out I can help you. You need me!" He yelled as we walked away.
"Have you checked out what he is talking about?" Alice asked.
"He's not telling us anything until he is out."
"And I'm not letting him out. He's a killer." Luther said.
"Oh really?" I said.
"I can see it in his eyes."
"What can you see in our eyes?" I asked staring at Luther.
